Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Maaseik

Excellent stay for the whole family! We had a wonderful weekend in the vacation home and immediately felt comfortable with 6 adults and two small children. There was plenty of space for the whole family and the apartment was equipped with everything you need. Heidi and Danny were also super nice and helpful. We can fully recommend this property!

Sittard is not a bustling city, but a nice base. A small historic center; worth a visit. Maastricht is easy to travel by train. Great location🌻

We (dad, mom and 2 children) had very nice and relaxed days in this cozy vacation home. What is always important - the bed was very comfortable and cozy! You can really enjoy nature, with birds and animals. In the area you can take long and short walks.

We stayed in the charming cottage Mezik in Meeswijk and had a very nice time. The cottage is beautiful, well maintained and exudes tranquility. Everything was neat and tidy on arrival, and the large garden is really a plus – ideal for relaxing or for children to play. The location is perfect for those who love nature and being active. From Meeswijk, you are immediately in the Maasvallei River Park, a beautiful piece of nature that is part of the Hoge Kempen National Park. There are numerous opportunities for walking or cycling, for example along the Mijnterrils, or through unique experiences such as cycling through the water and cycling through the Heide. In short: a quiet and comfortable stay in a prime location for those who want to discover nature.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend among girlfriends! The apartment is spacious, light and airy. The modern kitchen is super equipped, so it was a lot of fun to cook. The spacious living-dining area has very comfortable seating furniture, lots of games and information flyers. The bedrooms are also very good: comfortable beds, large windows with insect screen and shutters. Large bathroom, separate toilet. The highlight of course is the lovingly landscaped garden with conservatory. Here it was good to endure with a glass of wine in the evening 😉 Our special thanks of course to Fien and François! The contact was very nice from the beginning, a warm welcome, many tips for excursions in the area. Our physical well-being was also taken care of - we were really spoiled! We enjoyed a few days in this beautiful House of Jok. Everything was neat, the house is spacious and equipped with everything. The area was quiet and Jok's communication was also very nice! We are completely satisfied!

This was, hands down the best AirBnB experience I've ever had. From the quality of the location and the effort put in the provide privacy and comfort to the friendliness of the host. Jordy has a lovely home and is exceptional at communication and his willingness to assist at any time. I have every intention of returning for quite a while to experience the joys of the region and this will be the only location I plan to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Cilly. The apartment is spacious, very clean and equipped with all the comforts. Parking is available on site. Ideal base to visit Maastricht and Aachen. Highly recommended!

It was a lovely stay! We enjoyed our stay at Happy Horses. Everything was perfect: a complete kitchen, nice bathroom and a warm welcome from the hostess and one of the horses. The area is beautiful - we have made many beautiful bike rides around Hamont-Achel As a souvenir, we even left a small painting. A place to look back on with a smile!

We have enjoyed this lovely and very spacious apartment. You can also relax on the private terrace outside and enjoy the peace and the birds chirping. The owners are super hospitable and very caring. We were brought our breakfast in the apartment all weekend, table was set. That really felt like pampering! In the restaurant also deliciously eaten after a long bike ride through the beautiful surroundings. The young lady and young man who also worked there during the weekend were also super friendly. Compliments to them too!

This was our first experience of Belgium and Airbnb. I am delighted to report the short visit was delightful 🙂 The location of the property was perfect for us and we loved the area. We had a wonderful visit to Maastricht a beautiful place a short distance away. We also enjoyed the famous Antique Bric-a-brac Street market at Tongeran. All free and with a vast array of stalls and shops. Finally and most importantly the property was perfectly positioned for our visits to 'The Happening' Veterans football⚽️ festival just along the road at Millen. A nice welcome with clear explanations, help was given to carry the stuff upstairs. A booklet with activities and restaurants in the area that the hosts themselves also recommend. This is very nice to get ideas. Beautiful accommodation with beautiful views of the garden when you are in bed. Delicious and beautiful kitchen to cook in and the sofa is comfortable to read on. Unfortunately, the television in the living room worked a little slower, but the one in the bedroom worked well. Unfortunately, the curtains let in a lot of light early on, but it did not cause too much inconvenience. It was a wonderful stay full of relaxation and fun activities in the village itself.

A beautiful location, marvelous restaurant in walking distance. It is as described, suitable for a family or for a group of good friends, and you will have to eat out for your meals. Thank you Johannes for making us welcome.

We felt super comfortable from the first second. John and Peter are incredibly friendly hosts. Very attentive and always responsive. The apartment is perfectly located, is mega lovingly decorated. Everything is within walking distance. lovingly prepared breakfast and it is even asked for wishes. the apartment has air conditioning, which is really perfect. You can only wish for hosts like John and Peter. We will be happy to come back.

A very nice apartment with cozy decor. An ideal location to discover Maastricht, right by the St Servaasbrug. Floor the host is very attentive and gives nice tips. Since there is no kitchen, you have to go out for food, but that's why we were in Maastricht! Very nice bed and space. I would like to come back here again!

Stayed at Yves' place in Hasselt a while ago. Very nice appartement with a beautiful view of a small park right in the centre of Hasselt. Yves was very responsive and gave us some extra recommendations. Overall a really great experience and I would definitly book this place again if I revisit Hasselt!

Very nice contact! I am more than satisfied. You should only keep in mind that the accommodation is not directly in the city, but in a beautiful nature reserve with a lot of peace. If you want to go to the city, you can get there on foot in 25 minutes and in 10 minutes with the bicycles provided. Once again, a big thank you to the hosts. Regards, Dirk
