Monthly Rentals in Mabou Harbour

It was more than just a place to sleep. Mr. Gillies recommended where to eat, how to catch the ferry to PEI, told us an interesting history of Port Hood, and even advised us on the sunset view. The room was comfortable and well furnished. We will have fond memories of the place and people.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s cabin! We came during the off season so the town itself was quiet, but Mark gave us many recommendations for visiting neighboring towns if we wanted. There is also a community trail below the property, which was easy to access from the cabin, for walks into town or into the woods. Overall it was a great getaway spot to unwind, enjoy the forest, and cook good homemade meals. Mark is also a great host! He was super responsive over text and offered to give us a tour of the house/property at check-in (which we were happy to accept). We would be more than happy to stay again, next time we find ourselves in the area!

Location! Location! Location! This modern, well equipped, beautiful home is only steps away from an amazing beach and a great home base for western Cape Breton Island. Wanda is a wonderful host who makes sure you feel at home.

Charming and comfortable space in beautiful surroundings. Everything you need. Nearest town charming and has amenities you need. Host and her family close by should you need anything. Would go back in a heartbeat.
