House holiday rentals in Maccagno, Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 8 at the Villa. We were prepared for the little walk through the village to access the villa having watched the video that was in the villa manual that was provided in advance of our stay. The villa itself is immaculate and well equipped. We found the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms to be ideal for 4 couples. The bedrooms had breathtaking views of Lake Como and the outside sitting areas were very private and also had great views. The pool was clean and easy to access providing a welcome cool down during hotter days. Maximillian was always available on WhatApp to answer any questions. The village itself is small and quaint - we had a nice rustic meal at the local restaurant and the owners were very hospitable. From the villa we drove down the hill to Menaggio where we got a ferry to explore the region. We hired two cars at Linate Airport & were able to explore easily. Highly recommend a stay at Familia Bremner villa. Thanks Ute & family

We had a very delightful and relaxing stay at Hannes’s beautiful home overlooking gorgeous Lago Maggiore. Swimming in their pool was a definite highlight and was a refreshing treat during the hot days. The home is very well-appointed and comfortable. The gracious outdoor seating and mature plantings were lovely. Hannes and his family left very clear and friendly instructions about our stay and info about the surrounding area. Everything was thought out very well. Everyone we encountered in the surrounding towns was warm and welcoming. The nature is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We had an uplifting and joyous visit! It’s a special place and clearly a lovely family!

First of all the location is amazing, the property was great, swimming pool and view was unreal, looking over the whole lake and all mountains. Fabio and Marta were such amazing hosts went out their way to help us get to the air bnb location, provided us with any need outside of regular requests, answered the calls and texts at all times and were super friendly and helpful from the beginning till the end, Thank you for making this an amazing visit we will make sure to come back. Sara is the best host I've ever encountered. Her house is beautiful and the setting is stunning. But, much more than that, Sara's attention, care and kindness were remarkable. She did all the things a good host does, but also went above and beyond to make our stay very special - including welcome pastries and a even a custom cake for a birthday we were celebrating! Truly exceptional.

This home was honestly such a dream! The host was easy to work with and provided a very helpful video for check in. The parking lot/suitable drop off point for a driver is a bit of a distance from the house, on a cobblestone walkway with stairs along the way. It was a lot of work to get my luggage to the house but SO WORTH IT! It’s absolutely gorgeous and as pictured. The outdoor areas are all stunning and lush - I loved sitting outside for coffee, breakfast, and watching the sunset in the evenings (but bring bug spray)! It rained most of my stay so I didn’t use the jacuzzi or outdoor shower much, but they were functional (I checked) and looked lovely. The ferry station and bus stops are about a 5 min walk away and a local market around 3 minutes away. The couple that owns the store was so sweet! I walked to 3 different restaurants nearby for dinner. They were within 3-15 minutes walking distance and wonderful food! This will absolutely be my first choice for a future Lake Como stay!

Der Zugang am Anreisetag war super unkompliziert und sehr einfach. Dann mit dem Aufzug direkt auf die Terrasse und deshalb absolut keine Plackerei beim Kofferschleppen. Die Aussicht ist einfach unbeschreiblich! So einen Panoramablick gibt es am Lago Maggiore sehr selten. Alleine das ist das Geld schon wert! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, von Bettwäsche, Küche bis zu den Bädern, alles tiptpop! Ein beheizter Pool mit ebenfalls fantastischer Aussicht auf den Lago und die Isola Brissago... Einfach einTraum... Wir kommen garantiert wieder....

Dieses wunderschöne Rustico ist perfekt! Es ist ideal für Familien, da es in einer fantastischen Umgebung liegt und zudem sehr gut mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. Julian ist ein großartiger Gastgeber. Der Check-in war sehr einfach und perfekt beschrieben. Vielen Dank für Alles, wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Ein sehr schönes sauberes, Haus, ruhig gelegen in einem Bergdorf. Ideal zum entspannen. Man ist in 15 Minuten am See. Restaurants gibt’s im nächstgelegenen Ort zu genüge. Ebenso wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der kleine Garten lädt zum Essen unter freiem Himmel ein. Er ist komplett eingezäunt, was für Hunde und auch Kinder super ist. Ein Reisebett ist vorhanden, was sehr praktisch für uns war. Die Treppe im Wohnbereich ist mit einem stabilen Schutzgitter ausgestattet.

Sandra ist eine super freundliche, zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die jederzeit erreichbar ist. Es hat sogar ein mit Wasser gefüllter Hundenapf bei unserer Ankunft bereit gestanden. Die Wohnung selbst und die Lage sind erstklassig. Der Ausblick auf den See aus der Wohnung und auch von der Terrasse sind einmalig. Der Zugang zur zweiten Wohnung im Haus war abgetrennt, so dass niemand mehr an der Terrasse vorbei laufen konnte. Dieser Punkt wurde in einer anderen Bewertungen bemängelt, trifft nun aber nicht mehr zu. Man ist damit sehr privat. Die Wohnung und Sandra als Gastgeberin sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

A very nice, clean house close to the lake. Big rooms and a big terrace. There is also a lot of space to park the car in front of the house. We had a very nice stay. Thank you.

Naomis Häuschen im Wald ist ein Traum! Mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt, auch um selber zu kochen, und wunderschön gelegen. Naomi war super lieb und hat uns sogar ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk bereitgelegt! Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Ort um Sich zu entspannen, Lugano und Umgebung oder die umliegenden Berge zu erkunden! Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

Beautiful location and airbnb! Kitchen was fully equipped, the bbq and terrace were a very nice addition! Rooms were very clean and the 2 bathrooms were convenient. To reach the airbnb a car is highly recommended, and the driving way is a bit tricky, so be an experienced driver is needed. But the rest was really great! 10-15 min car drive to the closest “bigger” supermarkets , lake and town.

Tucked into the stunning Verzasca Valley, this cozy stay was a peaceful gem. The views were incredible, and the room was spotless and comfy. We were only there for one night, but it left a lasting impression—would happily return!

Ein magisch schöner Ort im Centovalli. Das Rustico ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und empfängt einem mit dem Charme eines alten Tessiner Bauernhauses von 1791. Die Kommunikation mit Stefano hat sehr gut geklappt. Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare Woche.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Escape. Innocenta and Fabio were very generous and hospitable. They picked us up from the bus station and gave us local recommendations. The place is clean and the AC works well in the bedroom. The location is incredible and you really can’t beat the views for the price. Varenna is a beautiful city, Innocenta and Fabio make it feel like home. Hopefully we will be back!

Anna’s place was wonderful for our family - we felt super comfortable and at home. We loved the view from each of the balconies, where we watched fireworks almost nightly. The kids loved playing in the yard and watching deer munch on grass in the yard at times. Anna went above and beyond for both us adults and the kids with little gifts upon arrival, which made us feel super welcome. The location was also perfect for a base to explore the region and access to restaurants was very convenient. We would definitely return and highly recommend Anna’s place for anyone looking for a place in the Como area. Thanks again Anna for your hospitality!

Wir haben die Unterkunft sofort gefunden. Wir bekamen von Christian und Laura eine Weg eschreibung per Video. Der Check in war reibungslos mit Schlüsselbox. Die Wohnung ist supersauber, gemütlich und wunderbar ruhig und malerisch gelegen. Der Ort ist perfekt wenn man mal ganz ruhig für sich sein will. Wir fanden alles toll und werden auf jedenfalls nächstes Jahr wieder versuchen ein paar Tage bei Christian und Laura zu wohnen. Für uns war alles perfekt!

The house is charming and comfortable, ideally located. It is even better and more spacious than the pictures portray. The hosts were very helpful when my son got sick. And they let us know that the train would not be available after a certain date so we could plan our travel back to the airport accordingly. There is no a.c. But we had a fan for every bedroom. All of their recommendations are terrific, especially the closest restaurant, Locanda Cavallino. We ate there twice. And the view…unreal.

Das Haus war super, alles sehr sauber, an ruhiger, zentraler Lage und großzügig mit allen Details ausgestattet. Wir fühlten uns sofort Zuhause. Caroline ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, antwortet sehr schnell, gibt gute Tipps und ist sehr flexibel. Wir können dieses Haus und Caroline als Gastgeberin mit gutem Gewissen bestens weiterempfehlen. Danke für alles. Wir haben unsere Kurzferien sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!
