Fantastic stay in San Giovanni. Absolutely stunning views of the lake, and well worth the hike up the road to get there. The home is gorgeous, well maintained, and excellent for small groups. Would highly recommend. That said, it’s not the most accessible if you don’t have a car to drive to the nearby towns, so make sure you bring your walking shoes if so! We loved walking around the beautiful, charming neighbourhood and the surrounding towns. About 20mins to get to Bellagio and there is also a bus. Marzia was extremely helpful and very responsive. A lovely host and very welcoming. We’ll be back!

Need to work a bit from the parking lot, remember that having free parking in Como is a luxury. The apartment is large and has everything you may need even for a long stay

Silvia is a great host! Excellent location, easy 6-minute walk from/to ferry terminal & 10-minute walk to S. Giovanni train station. Near loads of restaurants, bars, & shops. The elevator was good to have with luggage. The living/dining room was cozy & comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen. Separate washer & dryer were fantastic! Decent WiFi (21 mbps down, 6 mbps up). The bed was comfortable & had nightstands & power outlets on each side--perfect for 2 people to charge devices at bedside. Only downside was on occasion from bed we could hear the upstairs neighbors & a few times we caught a faint smell of someone's cigarette smoke--not overwhelming, thankfully. The large shower had good water pressure & the hot water stayed hot for 2 people taking back-to-back showers. Wonderful thick towels & plenty of them! Great wall-mounted magnifying mirror! A heated towel rack would have been nice. The bathrobes were a treat! Despite the few minor mentions, we would happily stay here again. 😃

We had a wonderful stay in Elisabetta’s apartment in Bellagio. The apartment is really lovely, as per the photos (if not nicer in real life), plus you have the use of an outdoor balcony/courtyard (which was ideal for giving our small dog some outdoor space) with patio table and chairs. The location was perfect - right in the heart of the town and a stone’s throw from the ferry service, restaurants, shops and bars. Accessing the apartment by car is a little tight through the narrow ZTL area if you have a SUV-type car, but we were provided with extremely helpful instructions to guide us through. We also really want to highlight just how accommodating, kind and friendly Elisabetta was throughout our stay. She was always available, checked in on how our stay was going and really helped us out by providing us a place to store our luggage after we’d checked out. A standout host! 🩷 We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at “Anninas House” The place was perfect for our stay. It was beautiful, cosy, clean, and remained nice and cool in the heat. The bed was wonderful as was the shower. We had everything we needed. The location was ideal. We were close to the Lake, shops and the lovely restaurants nearby. The view from the front porch of the water was lovely. Varenna was amazing, we certainly didn’t want to leave. Maria was a friendly and responsive host.

Great location of the place. We were also pleasantly surprised by the apartment itself. It was very beautiful and larger than expected. The restaurants on the same street are highly recommended.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay on Lake Como. The views of the lake from the balcony were a dream. We looked forward to having breakfast on the balcony every morning and soaking in those gorgeous views. There was plenty of room to stretch out in the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet, the space was clean and had a lovely but subtle scent to it. The sofa and king bed were very comfortable. The bed was firm enough to be supportive but not too hard. There was AC on both levels. Love that we could connect to our Netflix account. The walk to downtown is about 10 minutes and super easy going downhill- the walk back up the hill to the apartment wasn’t bad but I’d recommend wearing comfortable shoes. There are two restaurants within a shorter distance (maybe 3 minute’s walk) that offer breakfast and dinner. The pizza restaurant has great pizza. We absolutely love Anna’s place and would be thrilled to stay there again.

This is by far our favorite airbnb we’ve stayed in! The view was incredible! There is an amazing balcony, a separate patio area and windows on almost all sides making for the best view you can imagine. Total serenity! Peaceful and quiet! Very clean and everything is brand new. We joked that our favorite place in lake como was our apparent. Book it without hesitation!!!

As a family of four (children: 5 and 9 years old), we immediately felt extremely comfortable. The view from the bedroom and kitchen is sensational, the large terrace with a sweeping parasol is perfect for an extensive breakfast outdoors. Great hiking trails start right outside the front door, Lake Maggiore is in approx. 25 minutes by car. So you have the best of both worlds (peace in the mountains and vibrant life on the lake). Mike is an absolutely exemplary host. On request, he explained the way to great swimming spots on the river and also had a quick and uncomplicated answer to any other question. We are considering taking another vacation in the same place in the future.

We had a beautiful stay here with our 2 daughters. An air bnb 100% catered to families. The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly and make every bit of our trip smooth and stress free. We will for sure be staying here again

Sussana was a great host and the house is clean. a bit small and when it's hot outside you might need a fan to keep you cool in the house. kitchen is basic but has what you need. would be great for a small family or a couple. Fantastic views, sun from early to late, great terrace/garden furniture, very quiet, great interior design, comfortable beds including pleasant bedding, kitchen fully equipped. We would definitely choose this property again.

We had a good stay in Cottage Herta, even if the weather unfortunately did not cooperate. Despite the sometimes very heavy rain, especially at night, the air conditioning made it surprisingly easy to handle the humidity in the hut. Good old Herta is already a few years old, but we are glad that in addition to the super-modern mobile homes, there are also a few simpler huts like Herta on the campsite - which, incidentally, is very well run. The modern sanitary building (which feels like it is being cleaned all day without a break!) is only 200 meters away. We especially liked the edge location right next to the Cannobino river, to which a staircase leads down, and the small "garden" right in front of the door, next to which our car also had space. The old town and the beach can be reached in 5 minutes on foot via a beautiful foot/bike path. We will be happy to come back.

Sandro was a superb host. Everything was super organized and we received all the important information and also recommendations in advance. He was easily reachable with questions and responded in a timely manner. Check-in was uncomplicated and worked out great. Our place was clean and equipped with everything necessary ( even more than expected) , and the location was simply great. You can walk to the beach or town in just a few minutes' walk. There was a small supermarket and many cozy little bars and restaurants nearby. We felt very comfortable. Thank you so much for letting us being your guests

Clean place with a shuttle service, very close to the airport as promised. Shuttle service was very friendly and convenient, and Elena was very responsive in helping us connect with them. Worked great for our last night before leaving Italy.

It's definitely a very nice apartment and the swimming pool and view of the lake makes the stay even better. Also, Anna, the host, had been very informative, super responsive and very helpful right from the inquiry stage about the apartment. Besides providing a comprehensive guide manual for the guests, she was in constant communication with us right from the start of booking the apartment and even after the check-out to ensure everything went well for her guests. Anna recommended on how to reach the restaurants, supermarkets and the attractions at Lake Como and even offered help to make reservations at the restaurants as they were often fully booked. A well-equipped, maintained apartment managed by an excellent host who will do everything within her means to ensure her guests have a pleasant and enjoyable stay! Antonietta and Rocco's hospitality was superb. Check-in was done in person and without problems, the room was very well maintained and I immediately felt relaxed. Also, heavy items like water, milk, and fruit juices were already present in the refrigerator, which was very helpful. The view from the veranda is fantastic and with a short walk you can reach the lake. There is also a large supermarket nearby, so you can have fun even without a car. I recommend spending pleasant moments in this wonderful owner's room!

What a quiet, beautiful and completely furnished cottage. The view of Lake Lugano from the cozy balcony was phenomenal. Ideal for 2 people who love peace and beautiful views. Sophie was friendly, helpful and proactive without being too much in the foreground. Her restaurant is definitely recommended and is within walking distance. We enjoyed the stay and fun excursions for 4 days, despite the slightly less good weather.

What a great way to end our trip! This Airbnb offers air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and a comfortable bed. Highly recommend it!

For starters, the location was absolutely perfect. Walking distance from restaurants & bars, the train station, local buses, and the local ferries to Varenna, Bellagio, etc.. The apartment has a locked exterior door, accessible by key only, and it felt very safe to walk at night. Co-host Marco was very responsive to texts and provided a couple of recommendations for local restaurants. The place is exactly as described. We loved our stay and recommend this place!
