Alice and Francesca are waiting for you in the house of a-mici, a townhouse just a few minutes from Lake Maggiore. It is a house on two floors, with a private garden, 2 parking spaces and a garage. There are 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a half bathroom. There is a laundry room with shower. The apartment is on the 1st floor of the hosts' house and can be reached via its own external staircase. The apartment itself can be used with up to 2 smaller children. There is a very large bedroom as well as a living/dining area. The apartment was in a sparkling clean condition and impeccably equipped. There are plenty of change towels as well as change bed linen. An absolute highlight is the huge terrace (south orientation), some of which is also covered (shade or rain protection). It is a good 5 minutes down the street to the Lago, where you will find a small beach (meadow) with shower/toilet and restaurant. In another 5 minutes you will be at the ferry dock where it goes towards Luino or Cannobio. Otherwise, there is Maccagno a well-stocked supermarket as well as an ice cream shop, bakery and several pizzerias. Recommended is La Concordia, with very tasty pizzas and fast and friendly service. We can absolutely recommend the apartment and will gladly come back.

Amazing location with fabulous lake view. The apartment is newly furnished and very tidy. We enjoyed every minute in Luino. There's a booklet with all information in the apartment (wifi, restaurants, tourism recommendations) and Anna was always a proactive and friendly host. Would come back 10/10.

+ beautiful house, recently renovated, all appliances new + beautiful garden where our dog could play at any time + walking distance to the lake (10mins or less) + very nice and welcoming host - be mindful the small village has a church and the bell rings from 6am to 10pm every 30mins. This disrupted our morning sleep, so bring earplugs. - the couch, although very comfy, only fits 2 people.

Had a great stay this past week at Villa Gioia. The house is stunning, and every member of our travelling group commented on how much they will miss both the shower and kitchen. For anyone apprehensive, the drive up the house isn’t difficult, with plenty of viewpoints along the way. For those who don’t mind a trail walk, it’s easy enough to wander down to Maccagno following an app like AllTrails. For those staying by the pool, it gets sun for the majority of the day and the private garden area gets a nice amount of both sun and shade. Marloes and Jorrit’s check in instructions were clear and easy to follow, even after we missed our original flight and arrived late at night. All in all, we had a great time and we hope to return soon!

A stunning and exclusive view over the lake

Debora gave us a very warm welcome and we felt very comfortable right away. But that wasn't hard with the great views and the beautiful property. Debora gave us many tips for things to do and see as well as local gastronomy - that was very helpful. She was very eager to respond to our concerns as quickly as possible. Everything was also perfectly prepared for our 11-month-old baby. What was not clear to us in advance was that the room on the upper floor has no door. Required special attention with the baby, but was no longer a problem. The house is also brightly lit. Snoring from below and baby crying from above was clearly audible in both directions. But that's not a problem if you stand close😉.
