AMAZING separate cabin (50 feet from the main cottage) with 2 bedrooms plus loft, kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area and deck overlooking the lake. Excellent for families.

One of my favourite Airbnb cottages! The space is perfect for a family (lots of kid focused things) or for a few friends. The property is beautiful, has great amenities like the sauna and water toys. The beds are very comfy and kitchen had anything you could need. All in all this was one of the best experience I’ve had. The host was super lovely, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and care into creating a great experience for their guests.

Pinecrest Cottage Retreat

Pinecrest Cottage is such a serene, clean and comfortable place. The views from both the cottage and the dock are next level. We spent the majority of our time on the dock fishing (so good!), swimming and watching very minimal boat traffic cruise along. The fire pit was a great area to kick back at night. An extremely chilled out vibe out there. An occasional train would whistle in the distance but didn’t rattle our good time. Watching that sunset from the dock was a major highlight! The cottage itself is spacious, bright, has a very calm aesthetic and is well equipped. Drop those bags, throw your groceries in the fridge and instantly relax. The location is a hop skip (25mins) to Port Carling for a walkabout in town. Highly recommend Bass Lake Roadhouse (15mins. drive) for great, casual dining if you’re not in the mood to cook. Shout outs to Krysten for being such a responsive host and to that chipmunk that visited us everyday to see if we were enjoying our time on Stewart Lake :)

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The view was absolutely stunning — perfect for a peaceful getaway. The host was very responsive and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. The cottage was well-equipped with all the essentials, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. Bala town is just a short drive away, which was super convenient for picking up supplies or grabbing a bite to eat. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing escape in nature.
