It is a 2-minute walk to the Terminal of the boats that connect Pico Island to Faial and São Jorge Islands. A 1-minute walk to the Whale Watching Companies. 10-minute drive to the airport. Very close to the municipal swimming pools. Close to Bars and Restaurants. Apartment with lots of lighting and a high ceiling and a terrace with a magnificent view over the port of Madalena and the channel that connects the islands of Faial and Pico. Modern vacation house implanted on the hang above the small town of Velas, in São Jorge Island, with a unique view over the ocean channel between the triangle islands (São Jorge, Pico and Faial). They are 5 walking minutes (going downhill) from the centre of Velas (shopping, cafés, restaurants), and 10 minutes from the natural swimming pools in the ocean. Please take into consideration that the return way on foot includes a steep climb of about 100 meters. It is 700 m until the harbour of Velas.

About 4 km to the North, from the city of Horta, is Praia do Almoxarife. In the space " the grind" there is life in every corner, in the garden there is a water cistern and a threshing floor. It has a traditional moth architecture that dates back to the beginning of the last century. N'a grinding is a philosophy based on the traditional and sustainable. It consists of: apartment, garden, craft atelier, farm with animals, horticultural, fruit and seeds of traditional varieties.
