Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Madison Heights

Such a wonderful place for our son’s graduation weekend. Amy’s place was exactly like the photos and as described. Plenty of space for 6 people but also a space for 1 more with a fold out couch. It is located in a safe neighborhood and is easy to get to grocery stores, restaurants and schools. Any was responsive and proactive with check in and checkout instructions. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! From instructions to getting to the farm to checking into the house. House was clean and it fit our family of 6 comfortably. Scenery was amazing and farm animals looked great. I love that the farm help let us be involved as much as we wanted. We could watch him feed the animals or help him feed. He also told us a lot about them. There are walking trails but they could be marked better. Check out was late enough to sleep in a little and have breakfast and not rush out. The horseback riding was great! I learned a lot and very helpful. We had a great time reconnecting with family and enjoying nature.

The other reviews I read for this stay were completely accurate. At a time when many Airbnb's feel like mini Ikea showrooms and are managed nicely, but coldly, this place was the opposite. It truly felt like staying in a real home and being warmly welcomed. Anne was terrific. I asked if it was possible to have flowers delivered ahead of time. She understandably said no, because no-one is there to receive them. Instead, she left us flowers from her own garden. Great place, the best host!

Very private and peaceful. A little hard to find as the street sneaks up on you, but once you’re familiar with the area it’s very centrally located. The goats were a fun form of entertainment, and the pool was great with the outside heat. Beverly was very responsive and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved this home so much! It was very clean and spacious! We cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner and had everything we needed! The furniture was clean and soft to sit in. There was so much natural light which I loved. A huge bonus was the washer and dryer! THANK YOU! This house is absolutely perfect for family and friends to get together. Everyone from age 12-45 loved the beautiful bath tub upstairs! What a gem! After looking at some previous reviews, they now have a hand rail going down stairs, which looks like it’s been there since the beginning! Great workmanship! The air temperature was also perfect, especially in the master bedroom downstairs. Loved the huge mirrors for getting ready too! We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at The Witt’s Inn while our sons attended a hockey camp at Liberty University, and it was perfect for what we needed. We were four hockey dads looking for a comfortable, convenient place, and this delivered. The Inn is in a private, quiet area but still just 10 minutes or less from stores, restaurants, and the university — super convenient. The space was clean, spacious, and provided a relaxing, restful environment after long days at the rink. Highly recommend! It was a fantastic value for the price we paid, and we’d definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we rented this location. We enjoy the neighborhood along with the fenced in backyard. We needed a few supplies and they were delivered within a few hours. Very responsive hosts. Will rent again.

Ed and Camille were amazing, they have a sweet apartment with a great Jacuzzi and pool. We were in town for a wedding and were blessed that Ed’s spot was open as it was only 15 minutes from the wedding venue. The apt was clean and everything was working, the kitchen was spotless as well. Ed and Camille were great, very communicative and nice people.

Anthony's place was very clean and welcoming. felt secluded even though was close to everything. was well pleased with our stay. only drawback was we weren't able to control the temperature and the house was 76 degrees too hot for June. Anthony did turn it down some but was still too hot for us . plenty of wildlife if that's your thing, the deer come close enough to almost pet them . I will definitely stay here again it's perfect for just 2 people

This is a perfect rental off one of the most beautiful streets in Lynchburg. The property is clean and well appointed with a wonderful view of the neighborhood from the Crows Nest! The host was also very responsive when I had to adjust the reservation. I highly recommend staying in this wonderful space!

I was greated when I arrived with the most delicious chocolate chip cookies. What a great surprise! The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well (which generally, I don't) so that says I was able to really relax and sink into the rest I needed. The space is just right for one person, and possibly two people depending on those people's preferences. The Hosts were very interactive and I was grateful to find a just right place to lay my head while visiting the area.

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay after a day of hard work in the sun. This fit the bill beautifully! The property is beautiful, check in was simple, and we could park right by the door. There were thoughtful touches like snacks and breakfast options, and we had everything we needed. We are staying there again!

We stayed here while we were looking for homes in the area and it was one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at so far! I have never seen such thoughtful detail put into an Airbnb before. The hosts were very friendly and the stay was incredibly comfortable. The house was beyond charming and there’s information about a lot of the antiques within the house. I’d definitely stay there again next time and I’d highly recommend it. :)

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! This little apartment is actually a lot nicer than the photos suggest. Situated in a quiet neighborhood in the countryside, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Brianna is a great host, very responsive and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

Kristen’s place was beyond magical. It’s a perfect cabin in a perfect place. I felt like it’s more beautiful than actually described. Every detail in the house is touched so thoughtfully. Well maintained, Extremely clean surroundings and comfortable beds. Instructions are very clear and Kristen is super responsive and helpful host. The area is so dreamy… you could gaze at the stars, clear skies for hours and watch fireflies, deers roaming around at the lawn and patio. Kristen’s place in one word is Peace. I would definitely go there again. ❤️

We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Creekside Cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all. Alicia is a terrific host. Her recommendations were spot-on. I appreciated the little touches like a snack basket.

We were looking for a cabin, hoping to find a quiet place to rest, relax and recharge in nature. We never dreamed that we would find an authentic 18th century cabin located in the forest on a mountain top - with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The inside of the cabin was beautifully furnished as would be expected in colonial Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the experience of stepping back in time.

Perfect Place for our College Girls Reunion …. The home is located in a private and beautiful area. The kitchen, bedrooms, bath are all well equipped with anything you need. The host left of some fun treats and wine. We had a wonderful stay.

This is our second year in a row that we stayed here for our annual family retreat (me, my wife and adult children with their partners). We loved it the first time and it was every bit as good the second. The house is in a beautiful peaceful setting tucked away in the woods with a mountain view. We spent most of our time during the day out on the decks, which were very comfortable with plenty of seating, outdoor couches and tables. We also took advantage of the fire pit. The house is actually much larger in size than how it looks . There is a good-sized living room with huge couch and large TV. Everyone had private rooms, which were very clean and comfortable with excellent furnishings. The kitchen was fully supplied for our cooking needs. Whenever we had a question Breanna was very quick to respond. If you're looking for a true getaway, I highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We had the best sleep listening to the waterfall. We can't wait to visit again.

The house was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful, private, clean, and rustic. It matched the description perfectly. Two of our favorite hikes, Sharp Top and Devil’s Marbleyard, were both within easy driving distance, and we loved taking advantage of that! While the house is a bit remote from grocery stores or restaurants, the fridge easily accommodated everything we needed for two people, and the stove and oven worked perfectly for cooking meals at home. I cannot recommend this stay highly enough!
