House holiday rentals in Magnisia

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the villa. The kids had the best time swimming, playing football and tennis, bouncing on the trampoline etc. it was great having so much for them to do at the house so we didn’t have to worry about taking them out when they needed to burn off some energy. This meant the adults could really relax and enjoy their time too. The house is well located, 10-15 minute drive to most places you want to be, supermarket less than 10mins away. Markos was really helpful, met us at the villa when we arrived and gave us loads of recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The place was perfect, we would love to come back!

Séjour en famille (2 adultes et deux enfants en bas âge) dans le logement de Kostas. Le lieu est spacieux, fraichement rénové avec tous les équipements nécessaires. (Lit de bébé disponible). Le logement est très calme et propre. La terrasse est très agréable (En avril, il faisait trop frais pour profiter de la piscine). Deux tavernes disponibles sur Apostoli. Nous avons préféré celles de Agia Foteni (Sivritos) et Thronos (Aravanes). Rethymno se trouve à 45 min environs. Nombreuses promenades ou randonnées à proximité. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à LotusLand. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir. Très bonne communication avec Kostas qui s’assure su confort de ses hôtes. Le seul point d’amélioration concerne l’accès. La route est en mauvais état et il est difficile de manoeuvrer. Dans la journée, nous nous garions sur la route principale (en contrebas de l’église).

Eine Unterkunft mit einem wirklich atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser zweijähriger Sohn hat sich auch sehr gut zurecht gefunden und mit uns am Pool gespielt, man sollte aber natürlich immer einen Blick drauf haben . Insgesamt wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich großzügiger als auf den Fotos und ist bestens ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt sogar Hanteln für Sport und Stühle und Schirm für den Strand und ein Töpfchen für Kinder. Die Kommunikation mit Eleni lief sehr gut. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! Wow what a stunning home with the most amazing views and amenities. It was hard to want to leave to do anything else but enjoy the property! We loved the pool area with so many nice loungers and comfy seating. The outdoor bar was lovely and we had so much fun playing pickleball! The beds were so comfy and the kitchen very spacious. Jerry provided us with nice touches to get us started before getting to the market. And Aggeliki was extremely communicative prior to and during our stay. We felt completely at home and can’t say enough good things about this place!

The Villa was perfect and exactly as described. So peaceful with amazing views. Argiri always responded quickly to any questions but at the Villa the whole family were so kind and generous with gifts of food and homemade olive oil and wine and excellent local knowledge from Valantis which was super helpful. We would definitely recommend the place and will hopefully visit again in the future.

Our stay was absolutely stunning. Stavros is a very welcoming person and contacted us prior to our stay with all important information. The moment we were sitting in our rental car at the airport and needed to find out the address our location he had already sent it five minutes before. Very proactive - Stavros can read his guests minds! :D The house with pool is an absolute dream come true and the village centre seems to have popped directly out of a movie with a fantastic and creatively furnished restaurant that spans across the entire place. My warmest recommendation to stay at this beautiful place!

Die Residenz war wunderschön und vom ersten Moment an warm und einladend. Sie war modern und hochwertig eingerichtet, das Gebäude verfügte über alle notwendigen Elektrogeräte, der Außenbereich war eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung mit viel Platz und kinderfreundlich. Die Gastfreundschaft der Familie Nikos vermittelte von Anfang an das Gefühl, sie schon lange zu kennen, und sie antworteten sehr schnell auf alle unsere Fragen. Die 10 Urlaubstage vergingen wie im Flug, und am letzten Tag sagten wir alle, dass wir wiederkommen würden.

Amazing location. In the middle of the island. It is close to the village of rethymno, and the beaches nearby are beautiful. The hosts are absolutely over the top. They gave us eggs collected from the farm to have breakfast and a freshly baked cake another day. Our stay was simply perfect.

A short walk from downtown Kalyves, but far removed from the hustle and bustle of the town of Kalyves. Several good places to eat, with some services such as medical and a pharmacy, a couple small markets with enough provisions. The location had absolutely amazing views of the bay of Souda, very private and quiet. The property is secured by an electric gate, to keep wandering tourists away, in that this accommodation appears historical in nature, maybe all that’s left of an old kastelli, based on the rock walls. I could be wrong, but I would guess that the actual accommodation is what used to be the powder magazine for the old fort. We enjoyed the place immensely.

Tolle Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend & hilfsbereit. Die Familie kann man nur ins Herz schließen ❤️. Danke auch für den Osterkorb mit dem leckeren Gepäck und den Eiern. Und nicht zu vergessen, das selbstgemachte, kaltgepresste Olivenöl 😋 und viele liebevolle Details zum Empfang. Das wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Appartement mit großzügiger Terrasse hat unsere Erwartungen als Vielreisende voll erfüllt 👍. Besten Dank für die schöne Zeit auf Kreta.+

Wir haben in einer schönen Wohnung mit wunderbarer Sicht auf das ganze Umland unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Wohnung mit großzügiger Terrasse waren super. Unsere Vermieter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gute Ausflugsziele von dort aus erreichbar. Wir würden wieder dorthin fahren.

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. We are always happy to come back. :)

We were awaited in front of the door upon arrival. The place is located in the absolute center of the old town. The house is definitely not your average one in a dozen apparently but very characteristic and comfortable. The house has all the comfort you can wish for and the roof terrace is absolutely fantastic. When you look outside, sit on the balcony or the terrace, you can enjoy the hustle of the town and the beautiful minaret of the Neratze Mosque. The host, Manos and their family are super helpful. They have a shop nearby so there is always someone close if you need help with something.

Zeer mooi appartement. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Zeer proper. Uitzicht was prachtig. Chrissa was supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Haar restaurant zo vlakbij was handig. Het eten zeer lekker. Een aanrader. Alles A

We had an awesome time at Nikos’s place, he gave very useful tips and his apartment is at walking distance from everything in Matala(as the village is very small). As mentioned in other posts, there are quite a few steps to the place but you get used to it, and it’s a great workout after a big dinner in one of the restaurants below. One of the days it was too windy to be on the beach so we stayed on the terrace of the accommodation with a great view of the sea, the sound of the waves and privacy from others. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Thank you Nikos!

Zum zweiten Mal haben wir dieses wunderschöne Haus genossen. Es war ein Gefühl von nach Hause kommen. Auch als wir gesundheitlich in Not kamen, wurden wir bestens versorgt und bekamen großartige Hilfe. Wir können dieses Haus wärmstens empfehlen, es ist wirklich toll und wir haben so gut geschlafen, wie lange nicht mehr. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder…

כל כך נהננו בשהות שלנו בווילה ! הבריכה המחוממת לנוף מהמם ואזור כפרי מלא בטבע וירוק . הקבלת פנים הייתה נעימה ומסבירת פנים. כל שאלה שהייתה לנו המארחים ענו לנו מהר . היה מושלם ! חלום של מקום!

Wir hatten tolle zwei Wochen in der Villa von Vangelis und haben jede Minute genossen. Besonders toll war die Aussicht auf die Lefka Ori, der tolle Pool mit Gegenstromanlage und die vielen verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und hochwertig ausgestattet und alle notwendigen Kochutensilien sind vorhanden. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Wir haben uns in diesem Haus acht Tage lang sehr wohl gefühlt, auf der gut verschatteten Terrasse eine erholsame Zeit bis tief in die Nacht hinein verbracht. Ioanna hat uns mit verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten überrascht, liebevoll und immer erreichbar. Gerne kommen wir wieder, um diese schöne Aussicht zu genießen.

Super séjour à Marathi ! Logement très bien placé, bien équipé et propre. Literie de qualité. Des hôtes très prévenants et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Je recommande +++

Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu viert sehr genossen. Die Lage war perfekt, sodass man den Strand und Unternehmungen gut erreichen konnte. Besonders herausragend war der Service und die Gestaltung des Außenbereichs.

Argyris was a great host. We had a problem with the pool filter that he fixed straight away. On another day we managed to lock ourselves out and he drove down to let us in. The location is great with a superb pool area. Highly recommend over any hotel on the island. The villa is as described and illustrated in the pics. The villa is not ultra modern but definitely has character. It’s well equipped and most importantly everything works and is maintained. The mid week clean is extremely thorough from top to bottom with a fresh set of towels. Great location and host will definitely return.

Highly recommended if you want to partake in the experience that is old town Chania. Lots of cute bars and restaurants around in a cute alleyway. Perfect for people who enjoy the muted sound of enjoyable night life.

Ein ausgefallenes Hippy-tiny-house, klein und gemütlich, mit superschönem Garten zum chillen! Alle Strände und Orte wie Matala, Agia Gallini usw. schnell erreichbar! Das Dorf mit seinen 5 Restaurants und Cafe ist quasi um die Ecke in 3 Minuten fussläufig erreichbar! Ciara, die herzliche und freundliche Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, gibt gute Tips und ist stets erreichbar! :) Einziger Makel, die Waschmaschine war kaputt. Ein guter Ort um Ruhe zu finden! Empfehlenswert!
