There is also a kettle and toaster, cutlery etc. Youngs garden stable block is on the edge of a charming old village in East Sussex, within striking distance of Bateman's ( home of Rudyard Kipling ) and many other historic sites such as Bodiam castle, Scotney castle, and many more. The village is approximately a 10 minute walk and has 2 pubs and a small supermarket.

Being hand built by the owner, this space really is a absolute one off. Everyone that visits, remarks that they ‘feel like there abroad’. A gorgeous kitchen sits adjacent to the lounge with 1 of 2 log burners. The bathroom has an extremely ‘high end’ feel to it. The lower level reveals an enormous hand crafted 4 poster bed.

The Stanhope

Extremely private hut set within 15 acres of wilderness to relax in the remotest part of Kent with direct access into the beautiful valley. Most guests visit us to shut the world out. However, we are also spoilt for things to do locally and have some terrific pubs/ restaurants. “We loved hearing the owl sending us to sleep” “this was without doubt the best place I've ever stayed! Many historical Villages nearby including Mayfield and Burwash. My large garden is full of wild life with two resident badger sets. White Deer are frequent visitors and can often be seen at dawn and dusk from the terrace. Foxes and family of Hare. More recently, we have two families of the protected Hedge Hogs.

Basic Nature Wild Camping by River Beult Yalding

Wild camping and fishing by the River Beult in Yalding, Kent. You rent the whole space, just under an acre with plenty of space for upto 4 or 5 tents. A mixture of more open areas and mature oak, ash and hazel trees. Facilities are basic, but it's a joy to be in nature. There's a composting toilet, with a proper seat, but bring your own loo paper. A firepit is included, but you need to bring your own wood and water. In season you can fish in the river - good for Chub and Barbel.
