Gezellige flatje met terras in het groen. De gehele ruimte met privé badkamer is voor de gasten, is volledig gescheiden van de rest van het huis en de flat heeft een eigen ingang. De flat is ook geschikt om in een rustige omgeving van 'thuisuit' te kunnen werken. De stijle buitentrap naar de flat en de trap in de woning zijn niet geschikt voor jonge kinderen. Ons huis staat aan het kruispunt van fiets- en wandelwegen. Er rijdt een bus van ons dorp Oelegem naar Antwerpen. De afstand naar Antwerpen is ongeveer 15km met de auto, de fiets of te voet! Bakker, supermarkt, beenhouwer, restaurants en kroeg in de buurt. Welkom in Oelegem!

Cottage small but nice between the greenery

The cottage can be found in a green wooded area, the village with shops, supermarket and some restaurants are 3 km away. You can enjoy the outdoors in a small garden, the birds will be heard. The cottage has a living room with kitchenette (2 gas burners, fridge, freezer, sink, kettle and coffee maker), bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and then you will also find the washing machine. The bedroom has a single bed and quite a few closet space. We provide a bicycle, and you can also use the bus stop 500 m from the cottage. The cottage is located behind the main house and is completely separated from it.

We had a great stay at this small cottage! The home is located in a small forest in between two small villages, next (but with enough distance) to two neighbouring cottage (one of them in the same look and feel). The place is extremely quiet (besides the all the birds) and really private. A short pathway leads to the house, where one can leave the car. When parked rather close to the dirt road, the car cant be seen from inside the home through the huge floor to ceiling windows, giving an even better feeling of being in the middle of the woods. All appliances worked well and the place was really tidy. Very chique furniture. Definitely an eyecatcher for rather minimalist and naturalist people. I keep this part short: everything was beautiful, all worked and went well, no complaints whatsoever; absolutely can recommend. Just great. One hint: Internet (via Wifi) is stable and enable DL speeds of 40-50Mbps. Maybe relevant for someone planning to work from there.

Nice Airbnb, everything is very neat and clean. The contact with Yannah and Dante went very smoothly and they were very helpful. I arrived a little earlier than planned and that was no problem. The natural surroundings are also worth it. In short, had a nice stay here.

Maarten's house is in the heart of the city, very convenient on foot for everything the city offers and easy to access, following the precise directions provided. The space is impeccable, if possible better than the description and photos: excellent minimal taste, well-kept, clean and tidy, with a thousand small touches, not at all obvious. There is also a corner for preparing small meals, with a kettle and microwave, the table is large and comfortable and Maarten provides dishes as well as quality coffee. The small and delightful garden gives the room an extra breath. Highly recommended. Lier is very pleasant, lively and interesting in itself, but also a good starting point for visiting nearby cities. Thanks Maarten, we had a great time!

Very cozy, clean, romantic! Very kind owner 🌸 We recommend putting in a washing machine. The only flaw is the absence of the door in the bathroom. We will definitely be coming back!!
