A large forest area, with plenty of moose, starts near the house. A five-minute drive will take you to a small swimming pond with its own beach and jetty. To Branäs ski resort, it takes 25 minutes and to Långberget, with both nice hiking trails and ski trails, it is an hour's drive. The cottage belongs to Länsmansgården, which was built in the mid-18th century. The owners live on the property.
