The listing was as pictured and described It's absolutely stunning The setting is exceptional with this incredible view of the Douro. The house is very well maintained. Very well equipped. A lot of character with its large windows. A stunning garden and pool. Amazing calm too If you have to visit the most touristic places such as Porto you are on average 1 hour from everything. But it's clearly stated in the listing that we are far away so it was no problem for us. We were able to take advantage of every day to explore the surrounding area. Our host welcomed us at the indicated time. There is a lot of flexibility for check-in and check-out times. Thank you so much to our hosts who took time to welcome us and respond to our needs and questions. To summarize, we hope to be able to return to this beautiful area and this beautiful house one day. Our vacation was perfect. Thank you again

1st off, wow wow wow! what a beautiful villa. We Landed wel ahead check-in time & Jose rang on route and was very accommodating to allow to get in early. The Views when we got out the car were breath taking, the villa itself is beautiful too, so spacious, traditional Portuguese deco and you could tell this home is loved so much. We felt at home. So peaceful, we hired a car and the Intermache supermarket is worth a trip to stock up, only 13 mins drive. So many beautiful walks too. The local wine is a must too! We will absolutely return. An amazing place to relax and with incredible landscapes I would definitely recommend

Pleasant stay, house is large . Overall we had a nice stay. The location of the house is very good (close to Marco) and convenient because it is close to shops. Air conditioning was a plus for comfort. We enjoyed the wood-burning oven and the room which acts as a dining room. The living room is very comfortable and large , ideal for a large family like us. Billiards allows for friendly parties.

It was a beautiful experience. You can try and experience a lot. The pool and the entire facility is very clean and beautiful. The apartment was cozy and modern. Particularly noteworthy is the delicious cake and the friendly hostess. Thank you for the wonderful time!

It's been two weeks since we left this beautiful home in the Douro Valley and we are all still dreaming about it. It was the perfect environment for our family to come together and relax and soak in the beautiful scenery. The house itself is gorgeous with views of the river from every room. The house was complete with everything necessary and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals together. The hostess was exceptionally warm and friendly and answered our questions in a reasonable time. If you want to relax, unwind and recharge this is definitely the place. We are all looking forward to returning one day!

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Nuno’s place in Portugal. The home was exactly as described — clean, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. The quiet surroundings made it an ideal escape, and I really appreciated the calm atmosphere. Nuno was a fantastic host — friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. We stayed 4 days in Ysabel's house, with the directions obtained it is it was intuitive to find the house that upon our arrival was as described. The space was more than good, the view of the river was a surplus, and we were able to comfortably make our visits to Porto and surroundings in the extra day there are all the amenities 10 minutes from the house. Ysabel and her partner were discreet as if they were not there but always ready for a smile and if we needed anything. Thank you for everything Tony Ileana and Vittorio

I super recommend Maria's Room, and Maria really knows how to treat guests, she made me feel very comfortable, always very attentive, she guided me in everything, as much as to places I needed to go and wonderful points in the city as a restaurant, points to take the best photo, curiosities of the region and its surroundings, and not to mention the person who may have a heart that does not fit on my chest, I just have to thank God for having directed me up here in her Hosting... and thank you very much 🫂 Maria "Gina", it was a pleasure to stay in your hosting ... the world would be much better if there were more Marias around the same way... thank you very much and success for your family, and my congratulations...

An excellent space for a good holiday. I loved everything and everything is close to this location. The stay was impeccable and everything has a description of the photos, I felt at home, I would come back without thinking.

The accommodation is simply magnificent. It is in the middle of nature, very quiet and very close to nature. You can hear the birds, the water. It is simply a magical place and perfect for arriving at yourself or enjoying the peace. I loved to meditate or do yoga by the water. I would come back anytime. Thanks so much for the nice days.

Perfect house, excellent location

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.
