Cabin holiday rentals in Mariato District

Very nice little house in a quiet and sublime environment. Lost in nature in the middle of the forest and with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. Licked decor, good amenities and pleasant bedding, a plus the small pool to cool off. Because it's hot, behind the grandiose facing south, it's hard to keep cool despite the air conditioning. Ps: master bedroom upstairs with access via ladder, no worries for us but to know. Ps bis: access passes rather easily with a classic rental sedan (Kia)

My stay was a few days of down time to celebrate my birthday and to check out this up and coming area. I was very impressed and I must say that I will be coming back. Brian's place suited me to the tee! Everything about it- the views, privacy, hot tub and proximity to the restaurants. Definitely a thumbs up!👍🏽

Nice and quiet place in nature. Perfect for people who need a few days of peace and quiet. Very clean and equipped with the most important utensils. We cooked breakfast and dinner ourselves.

My boys and I loved our stay at El Rancho to surf camp. Jiani and Lorenzo were friendly, welcoming and just great people. We had excellent surf lessons with Lorenzo as beginner surfers that we will never forget. He was so patient and knew how to help the kids catch a wave in no time while also giving us great tips on picking waves, speed and much more. I'd love to come back and enjoy surfing, great people and the beautiful surf cafe they have on the beach. The boys are still talking about "Surf Bomb" chocolate drinks! Thank you for a wonderful stay to our Canadian family.

We booked the room to have a quiet and tranquil stay and we were not disappointed. The room is very private and perfect for relaxing. The bed is large and the mattress very comfortable, not too soft and not too hard. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to prepare meals. We can also recommend the apartment if you want to work during the day, as we did. It is very quiet and the surroundings are also very relaxing. It is also only a 5 minute walk to the beach where you can find a restaurant and a café and also take a long walk along the coast. If you have any questions, Margaux has lived there for years and is very knowledgeable about the local area. Overall, we would come here again anytime.

This was my second time staying at Tim's and won't be my last. Great affordable option with a nice hot shower and cold AC. The deck is a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a Balboa after a long day of fishing. 10 out of 10 I'd recommend staying here.

We felt super comfortable in the accommodation from the beginning. The place was super clean, nicely decorated and had everything you need. Privately located yet in the middle of it all, so throughout our time we left the car there and walked from the property to restaurants, to the beach and to the boat tours. Leo also always wrote super quickly and was always available.

Elena and Agustin's lodge is very stylishly decorated, there is a large terrace with furniture and hammocks in a beautiful garden. You have the possibility to make coffee or tea, the meals can be taken in the very inexpensive and delicious beach restaurant. Elena and Agustin are incredibly personable, warm and helpful hosts. They have a lot of tips for the environment. Agustin is a great surf instructor. You can also borrow surfboards from him. There is also the possibility for horseback rides in the area. We (2 adults, 3 children) all felt very comfortable with them and had three really wonderful days in Guanico abajo. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you, dear Elena and Agustin for everything!! It was great!

The tipis are very cute, but really very small for 2 people, which is why we switched to a cabin after the first night, which was very nice, but a bit expensive for us. However, for Santa Catalina conditions, the prices were very fine. The place is very beautiful and lovingly designed and full of greenery.

Super cute place in a remote, beautiful area. Walking distance to fun waves and a very short drive to Mariato town where there is a super market and fruit stand with delicious fresh fruit! Emmanuel was super nice and easy to communicate with.

The stay at Gisela’s was very enjoyable, the hosts are ready to help you with anything you may need, there are two incredible beaches within walking distance and it is possible to see wildlife on the way They also have a large swimming pool with a tremendous outlook over the ocean and some islands, perfect for a late swim and photos of the sunsets

You do need to drive across a creek, just go slow and don’t stop and you should be fine. Once you get there you will have an amazing surf beach that is super easy to access day or night, just be mindful of the tide and the occasional falling coconut. The hotel staff really make sure you have everything you need for your stay, from surfboard rentals to Coiba tours to daily housekeeping. There’s even a restaurant on the property with really good food, just don’t wait until you are super hungry to go. The wifi is better in the restaurant and the cell service (Tigo) was ok, not fast, but workable if you’re a digital nomad. Occasional power and water outages lasting 3 to 12 hours so keep your electronics charged and have an extra bottle of water ready for the toilet/showering or washing hands.
