Great neighborhood to hang out in (ranked in 2024 by Time Out magazine as one of "coolest neighbourhoods in the world", and top ranked in the Bay Area) close to some of SF's great spots -10 mins to De Young Art Museum, Cal Academy of Science, Conservatory of Flowers; Clement Street restaurants and stores; also close to The Presido, Golden Gate Bridge. Newly renovated space within walking distance to SF attractions. Great for couples, or families with young kids. Located in the Central Richmond. 5 minute walk to the Presidio gate, 15 minutes to Baker Beach, and 25 minutes to Golden Gate Park. Great nature abound as well as restaurants nearby. The bus stops a block away that goes straight to downtown. The space is located on Lake Street, which is a slow street with few cars - great for walking, hiking, and biking.

Loved my stay at Susan’s. Great communication, very comfortable bed and pretty surroundings. With Union Street around the corner there are plenty of restaurants to walk to as well as fun shops. I look forward to a stay here next time I’m in the city!

I had a great experience staying with Meg! And of course, her adorable pup Charlie. The mattress was so comfy, and I had absolutely everything I needed. Down the hall from the bedroom is a private bathroom, which was so nice to have. The space is warm and inviting. It has been redecorated in deeper tones, which felt very cozy, and there’s a standing wardrobe to hang your clothes in the bedroom. Location is also great— I was surprised by just how cute the neighborhood was, and how many great shops, restaurants, cafes, and parks were within easy walking distance.

Within a large hotel, so everything was probably the same as any other guest although the Airbnb room is the same room. Fantastic location, felt completely safe, major shopping and pedestrian area right off street with cable cars and bear Bart line and all public transportation in city. Bed was extremely soft and squishy -- pillow top on a soft matress -- so if that's what you'll like, you'll think it's great. If you need a firm sleeping surface, probably not a good fit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Laurie's place! The location was very convenient/easy-to-find, and the neighbourhood was quiet & felt safe with lots of great restaurants & cafes within walking distance. It was so nice to park in her driveway, so we didn't have to worry about SF's parking laws. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless, with great amenities! Great shower pressure and a nice firm mattress too! We very much appreciated the snacks, great coffee and tea options! We loved using the "shared" family room area for our morning time, and breaks throughout our stay: cozy blankets, tons of books, and TV. Also, there is a nice deck to enjoy the sun in the backyard. Thank you for such a nice place, Laurie! We'll be back!! Mike & Karen :o)

Eva’s place is well located, clean, safe, private, and has good vibes. It’s small and minimally decorated but has thoughtful attention to detail (every time I expected something to be missing from such a small place like a hairdryer, or a towel hook or some shampoo, I was delighted to find it had been thought of and was there). Great peaceful location with delightful gardens in the back. Definitely meant for one person to lay their head at night, not hangout in all day but I would definitely stay there again on another visit to the city. Eva is a responsive and thoughtful host.
