How wonderful of a host you had been - so helpful, cooperative and thoughtful to make our anniversary memorable. You communicated at every step of the way which was amazing. Wish we could have relished and enjoyed the place for longer, but will come back again ❤️

For anyone who believes that living off the grid is impossible or not practical I would be interested in knowing how you feel after staying here. The silo is functional, spacious and quiet. The outside kitchen and lounge are where the relaxation, meals, laughter and memories are made. The "city" dogs had a great time exploring and hearing animal sounds that only echo in the county. (iykyk) The "city" humans are well rested and at peace. Life is just better after staying at The Silo. Try it. I dare you.

Carolyn is a lovely host. The apartment is very cozy. Bed is fantastic. Kitchen has everything you need. The town is a quiet little gem in rural Ontario. Great for writing or time to relax and get away. Highly recommend.
