Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Marnac

We were a group of 6 and had a fantastic time in Rachel's house in Thédirac. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals, there were lots of lovely outdoor places to sit and eat, the garden was beautiful and well maintained (and a great source of herbs for cooking), and it was a real treat to walk to the bakery each morning for fresh bread and croissants. It was about 30-60 mins drive from the main attractions, which was fine for half-day or day trips. Couldn't have asked for more.

Absolutely the best place we've ever stayed. Even better than the pictures, so peaceful and beautiful. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

We had a very good stay at Le Pré des Noix. Upon our arrival, Alexandrine gave us all the instructions and made herself perfectly available during the stay. The small well-equipped house is lovely and peaceful, it is a real place of rest 2 steps from the Vézère valley and its must-see tourist spots. Everything was perfect and we will gladly come back if the opportunity arises

We are delighted with the welcome from our host Jeannine and our stay. It is an ideal, peaceful and charming accommodation, well-equipped, to discover the surroundings: castles, most beautiful villages in France, gastronomy. We highly recommend this listing. We obviously do not forget the delicious walnut cake of our lovely host, for our arrival, his precious advice of sites to visit, and the pleasant presence of his two cats.

Beautiful house, quiet, in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The few days were particularly sunny. In the morning, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the awakening nature. At noon, lunch in the shade at the back of the house in the garden. In the evening, return to the terrace for a dinner facing the sunset. All, not overlooked. The only companions are the neighboring sheep and the roe deer. The house is spacious and pleasant. And the interior hammock allows for an original rest, in the cool, when it is hot outside. A perfect place located in the old town for beautiful walks with a nearby glacier that we enjoyed. Adrien is very attentive and available for his guests Thank you again for the little gift for us but also for our cat. The accommodation is very quiet and peaceful. Fully equipped for a perfect stay, we also enjoyed the garden. We recommend the place without a second thought and will come back without hesitation.

Sophie's accommodation is very nice and renovated with quality materials. In addition, it is close to the center and shops while allowing you to enjoy a beautiful environment and calm. For a stress-free arrival, Sophie had made available to us: coffee, tea, condiments, etc. It was perfect.

Well renovated and equipped accommodation, ideally located in the heart of the beautiful village of Terrasson, on a very quiet street. Monique and Dany know their area well, I recommend it.

Great location. The a/c was wonderful to have on the hot days. Ridwan was very responsive to questions. Helped me find parking on festival day and offered local advice on things to do. Also reminded me of holiday that I had forgotten about!

Exceeded our expectations in every way!! Magnificent building enhanced by beautiful antiques and accessories. The restaurant was great and the parking was excellent. The bathroom was special. The village was a perfect location to explore the Dordogne region. Very close to Beynac, Domme, and the Marqueyssac Gardens. Perfect for canoeing the river too.

Our stay in Eric’s house was perfect. Stepping out into the heart of the old town was a wonderful experience every time. The location could not be more central to restaurants shops and bars. We will certainly stay again.

Charming cottage ideal for spending a few quiet days, close to many activities, restaurant, shops and hiking trail! Recommended!!

We spent a wonderfully restful and restorative week staying at Le Lapin Sur le Toit. The house is very old and characterful, and full of quirks. Extremely comfortable, both inside and outside, whatever the weather is doing; we had mostly very hot weather and were glad of the thick stone walls keeping the house nice and cool. The kitchen is well-equipped. We made use of local markets (the one in Rouffignac on Sunday morning is great for essentials, and there is a bigger one in St Cyprien) The small 8 à 8 Carrefour in Rouffignac has all the basics, and bigger supermarkets at Le Bugue and Montingac. The garden is beautiful and very private. We are not bird experts by any means, but saw and heard woodpeckers, cuckoos and hoopoes. We saw lizards, deer, bats and walked down to the field at the bottom of the garden to see the horses. Cat also came to inspect us on evening patrol. Overall, a beautiful, comfortable house in a peaceful, tranquil setting.

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

Last-minute accommodation requested and Stephanie and Cedric were very accommodating and responsive. Friendly exchanges and the directions to find the accommodation were very good. The accommodation is well located with regard to everything there is to do nearby.

Wow! What a wonderful experience. I will never be able to stay anywhere else in France. Philip’s villa is a castle in paradise. With pastoral views in every direction, this villa drinks you in like an old friend. The pool is magnificent, as are all the rooms in this lovely home. Bedrooms were air-conditioned with comfy beds and linens. The kitchen was perfect for lots of cooking, the indoor balcony was ideal for meals with gorgeous views, and the living room was great for relaxing in front of the smart TV. Philip was the perfect host .. extremely communicative and helpful. It was a special treat to meet him personally when he stopped by one day to say hello. We also enjoyed getting to know Philip’s father, who happened to be staying close by. Edgar, the villa’s regular caretaker, is one in a million, and made our stay even better. The town of Objat became a regular stop, especially on Sundays at the open-air market. Magnifique!!!!

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

We had a lovely week here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful and the house is great- inside and out but especially the garden and pool. Our kids loved it!

We had a great time in this atypical and charming house. Very well-equipped, comfortable and perfectly in line with the listing. A real little cocoon, ideal for recharging. Responsive and welcoming host. We'll be happy to go back!

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this place is. It is bigger and grander than it looks in the photos and the view is stunning! It has lots of gorgeous bedrooms and we enjoyed having big meals in the dining room. The house is located on top of a hill with a view of the Dordogne River and very close to beautiful villages, caves, and nature.
