Lovely house tucked away behind the bustling main street in beautiful Taormina. It is very close to a number of restaurants and eateries, yet is private and peaceful. Livio was a very attentive host, giving us many excellent recommendations and offering us the opportunity to leave our bags at the house to fit in with our arrival and departure. Highly recommend!

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Alessandra’s property just north of Viagrande was an excellent location for us to explore Mt Etna and surrounding towns. Alessandra was a great communicator and accommodated our late check in after an evening flight into Catania. Our children enjoyed exploring the grounds of the property but the guest house itself is quite rustic (which was fine for us).

We had an amazing stay here! The house is nestled in the mountains with a large open space — perfect for our dog to run and play freely. There are fruit trees and lemon trees in the yard, and we were welcome to pick and enjoy them — such a lovely touch! The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful — the house was very clean and they even prepared breakfast and some small gifts for us. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, peace, and a pet-friendly environment!

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön - wir fanden sie sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Straße ist zwar holprig und mit Schlaglöchern, aber für normale Autos kein Problem. Das ist es auf jeden Wert, da die Unterkunft etwas ganz besonderes ist. Der Pool war toll und alles super gepflegt. Maria war bei Fragen super erreichbar. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt und die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Haus liegt am Füße des Ätnas mit Blick auf den Vulkan und das Meer. Der große Garten mit Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen hat einen schönen Pool, der allerdings renoviert werden sollte, da die Mosaik-Fliesen ziemlich ausgebrochen sind. Das Haus ist ideal für eine große Familie mit 3 Doppel Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern dazu noch 1 Einzelzimmer und ein Kinderzimmer. Es gab genügend frische Handtücher und extra Pool- Handtücher, saubere Bettwäsche, reichlich Gläser und Geschirr. Die Küche war gut bestückt, manche Teile nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Die Einrichtung besteht aus alten italienischen Möbeln, dazu Ikea Kleinteilen. Das historische Haus ist ganz typisch für die Region, der bauliche Zustand ist für Mitteleuropäer grenzwertig. Schön ist der Essplatz im Garten unter dem großen Schirm. Ein Koch kann gebucht werden, das war super! Leider befindet sich eine Event Location in direkter Nähe, die sehr laute Musik bis 2 Uhr hat uns sehr gestört. Trotzdem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit!

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i Francias smukke og autentiske hus. Her var rent og behageligt. Fra terrassen som vi benyttede meget, var der en fantastisk udsigt fra Messina strædet mod Catania. Vi havde fantastisk smuk natteunderholdning af både ugler og Etna. Hvis vi igen komme til Sicilien vil vi bestemt besøge Francicas hus.

It would take more than five stars to do right to our experience with Villa Artemis. So far we always had good experiences with the accomedations we booked via AirBnB, but Villa Artemis totally exceeded our already high expectations. It was simply perfect. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and with no less than two living/dining rooms and two bathrooms. Outside the house there is are plenty of places to sit and relax with wonderfull views on both the sea and the Etna. The house is clean and well equiped. Everything you need for a great and carefree holliday is there. This review wouldn't be complete however if I didn't mention the family that hosts the place. Francesco, Giovanna, Antionio and Valeria were very kind, always willing to assist. They helped us out more than once. We are really happy to have met them, and hope to meet again.

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

This was the most magical Airbnb experience ever. Guiseppe and Giulia are the most hospitable Hosts I have ever come into contact with. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The villa is incredible with massive outdoor grounds to enjoy and a very beautiful large deep clean pool. Inside the villa is exactly as described but better! They were gracious and filled the fridges with many drinks to enjoy. They met us at the toll booth and escorted us to the villa and then drove us around town later to familiarize ourselves to the area and provided many dining recommendations. They were even so kind as to make reservations under their family name and deliver the most amazing desserts I have ever had! The location of the villa is perfect for day trips to Savoca and Taormina and surrounding areas. To have such a beautiful peaceful villa to return to made this our own slice of heaven! I would return in a heart beat. Thank you Giuseppe and Giulia for the most amazing stay.

It was a very pleasant stay. The house is well-equipped and private. The road is a little noisy, but nothing bad. Convenient supermarket nearby, and easy to get to Naxos, Toarmina, and other cities. Cooking was very pleasant. Small addition: Larger glasses would be great, as would an ice cube maker and a shampoo and shower gel holder in the bathrooms.

Beautiful villa, spacious outdoor area, saltwater pool was fantastic. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area. Very clean and well presented throughout. Communication with host was faultless, all questions and calls were answered promptly. Villa was very private, we hired a car but Uber was very reliable and good value. Local restaurant Blue Ice was very good. Highlight was visiting nearby Taormina both on an evening and during the day. I would most certainly recommend Villa Flara and the beautiful island of Sicily. 🍋💕

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

This house was one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed. We went for a week and a half on a family trip, and it could not have been more incredible. Somehow, the grounds are even more lush and beautiful and spacious than the photos make them look. Incredible views of Mt. Etna and innumerable spots for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Our manager of the property was more like a concierge. Gianluca was more welcoming and helpful than anyone I've encountered in years renting Airbnb places. We will surely be back and can't recommend it highly enough for anyone checking it out!

We encountered hosts + villa we can honestly say—-amazing + even more than we expected! Louisa + Chiara were so wonderful + accommodating, suggesting local activities + restaurants, booking our wish list + providing great advice. The villa is absolutely beautiful, spacious + decorated with the most eclectic artwork. There is A/C in the two bedrooms for comfortable sleeping and numerous porches and balconies to sit and have a meal or cooling drink in the afternoon. The views are lovely + we enjoyed breakfast daily on the porch off our bedroom overlooking Taormina. It is about a 7 minute walk down the hillside to the center of town. You will really appreciate your private retreat of Villa Britannia after a busy day in town or the beach! There is also a large gourmet kitchen stocked with all you need if you love to “cook at home”. Louisa provided us with eggs, milk , cold bottles of water + bread on arrival which was very sweet. This is perfect for couples, families or bride and groom. ❤️

We loved our time in this beautifully maintained piece of history. Everything is preserved with a lot care & love. Our kids spent most of their time in the expansive courtyard. This property is located in a small charming but a self-selfsufficient village, there are a few shops, a bakery & a good supermarket 2 mins walk from the Villa. I would like thank Francesca the was of our stay. Daniella was also amazing. we would love to come back again.

Beautiful stay in Aci Catena. The space comfortably accommodated all four of us and the beds were one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The outdoor area was amazing with the pool surrounded by many olive, lemon and peach trees. Daria was very willing to help with every question we had and made many recommendations throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay, yet so close to everything.

We had a great stay at Marco’s place. The house was super clean, and large, with all the amenities needed. Wifi was a bit slow but still functional. Kids loved the game room and the swimming pool. You will need a car to get around ( as mentioned in the listing).

Beautiful home! If you are staying in Catania and visiting surrounding areas, Isabella’s home is perfect. This was a quiet, private, spacious oasis of a property in the middle of the busy city life. Centrally located to visit the key attractions. Isabella was the perfect hostess! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed in their family home that has been in their family for generations. This home was great for our family of 6 and had enough space for everyone to spread out. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Isabella organized a traditional Sicilian meal to be cooked as well as a fun pizza night utilizing the authentic pizza oven. Isabella is a perfect hostess and provided us great information including a boat tour which was the best. What a lovely, and welcoming property!

Marcos place can only be discribed as a small piece of paradise,the gardens are very well maintained and look very beautiful.the pool is perfect to relax on hot days and the view is amazing.the property is so clean and is equipped with everything you could need for long or short stay and very comfortable.i had an amazing weekend here and definitely recommend Marcos place ..go and see for yourself .Marco is a great host and very responsive to all messages and gave local recommendations and made booking for a restaurant for us too and very friendly and you are in good hands at Marcos place and Luigi is great and available also , thank you both for a magical weekend.Definately recommend and will definitely come back. thank you again Bren

This beautiful rustic property boasts stunning views of Mount Etna and the sparkling Riposto Beach right from the pool area – a truly idyllic setting. Irene from the SunTripSicily team was fantastic. Her communication was outstanding; she checked in with us daily, ensuring we had everything we needed and making us feel incredibly welcome, like part of the family. Il consiglio è di arrivare prima del calare della sera: il GPS suggerisce strade molto strette, che possono mettere un po’ in apprensione, ma seguendo le indicazioni di Cinzia si raggiunge il luogo in tutta serenità. Ne vale davvero la pena! Il luogo è semplicemente magico, curato nei minimi dettagli, immerso nella bellezza selvaggia e autentica della natura. Ogni angolo racconta una storia, ogni dettaglio trasmette amore e attenzione. Durante la notte, abbiamo assistito allo spettacolo suggestivo delle luci dell’Etna che brillavano dietro la collina: un’esperienza che ci ha lasciato senza parole. Come insegnante di yoga, posso dire che è anche un luogo perfetto per organizzare ritiri: silenzio, bellezza e ispirazione si fondono in un’armonia che nutre l’anima. „Wundervolle 8 Tage auf Sizilien! Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend – perfekt zum Entspannen. Besonders toll fanden wir die gut ausgestattete Außenküche, die separate Außentoilette und den großen Pool mitten im gepflegten Garten. Der Strand ist ganz in der Nähe und schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Für uns war es die perfekte Mischung aus Komfort, Natur und Erholung. Was will man mehr….🤩 Danke an die liebe Familie 🫶

We had a wonderful time at the house and surroundings! Barbara was very responsive and pleasant. The house is in perfect condition, 30 meters from the beach and restaurants!
