The Bach

Keep it simple at this peaceful, spacious and centrally located place. In the heart of Athenree - you will be walking distance for swimming, fishing, kayaking/boating, biking, tennis, hot pools + playgrounds. Please note that kayaking in the Athenree Estuary is tidal. Being slightly elevated, you can enjoy sea/water peeps on x3 sides of the Bach. Only 5 minutes drive to Waihi Beach / Bowentown or you can walk across the estuary at low tide too. 10 minutes drive to Waihi & Katikati.

Situated elevated above zone 5 on Lake Karapiro and overlooking the 500m-1000m mark for rowing this is an ideal spot to view all the lake events on offer - be it Rowing, Waka Ama, Hydroplanes, Cycling with the Avantidrome just 15 minutes drive away!
