Beautiful 1 bedroom stand alone cottage that can sleep 4. A private oasis on a rural property surrounded by trees with views of rolling paddocks and farm animals. Full kitchen with all you need. This properties entrance is on the Hauraki Cycle Trail, only 2.5 km from town. The cottage is surrounded by farm land. You will have exclusive use of this 3 bedroom country home which easily accommodates 7 people. An 11 minute drive to the sensational Wairere Falls bush walk . 17 minutes to Hobbiton Movie set . Has foam mattresses for groups up to 11 as well as a portacot. Please be aware of electric fences on driveway( but not near house surroundings )

We flew over to NZ for a wedding and was luckily enough to book this property with Marina. The property was more than spacious for a group of 6. Could not fault the house as it was beautiful, clean and stocked with all possible amenities. It sits within the town of Matamata and was very accessible. Marina is a beautiful host, who was very responsive and flexible. We absolutely recommend this stay and hope you get to enjoy it like we have. Thanks again 😊

Jeans place was just beautiful! So clean and tidy. Everything you need in a home away from home. Cereals, bread, milk , tea coffees. All the little touches around the place made it the perfect stay. Couldn’t recommend enough😊

The Hampton – Modern Retreat

We had a great time at Nicole’s house. The house was very nice, very modern and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean and well appointed. The kitchen was great and opened up to the living room. The location was great, very close drive to Hobbiton and we visited both Waitamo glow worm caves (around 90 min away) and Rotorua (around an hour). Nicole was a great host, sharing advice on the house as well as activities. She was very responsive, getting back to us quickly. She went above and beyond as a host. We loved staying at Nicole’s house and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Country Retreat - 2km to Hobbiton!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The place was exactly as displayed when booking, and the view was better than imagined. The fridge and cupboard was stocked with some essentials and some home baked treats which was a really lovely touch, especially as we had been travelling around a lot. If you’re doing the Hobbiton tour the location is very handy!
