Fully renovated typical old stone house in the Karst region of Slovenia (EU), because of the rich wines and scenery also called "Slovenian Tuscuny". Small farm village Dolenja vas (Sežana) is near famous Škocjan caves, stud farm Lipica, Postojna caves and just 30 minutes by car from Trieste, Slovenian coast and 45 from Ljubljana. In Karst dialect "ana pravca" means "one fairy-tale" and Ana is also the name of the owner of the property. The house has 4 independent units with 4 bathrooms. Guests of the house are welcomed to use kitchen, dinning room and garden for relaxing or having a picnic. The house can be rent as a whole, for maximum 15 persons (10+5). A family suite has one bedroom with a double bed and second, children bedroom with 2 separate beds. In the living room the extra bed for 2 is a sleeping sofa. The suite has a bathroom with a shower and it's own separate entrance. The suite with a private terrace on the 1st floor has a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sleeping sofa for 2. It has a bathroom with a shower. On the first floor are also two rooms. First, spacious room with a bed for 2 and an additional sleeping sofa for 2, has a private terrace and a bathroom with a tub. The second, relaxation room has also a bathroom with a tub.

Iz pritličja se po lesenem stopnišču povzpneš v mansardni del, ki poleg spalnice z balkonom in razgledom na travnike ponuja tudi savno in kopalno kad za dodatno sprostitev.

Wir waren zu zweit in Pavels Haus, das auch für fünf Personen Platz geboten hätte. Das Haus, wohl aus dem 19. Jh., aber natürlich modernisiert, liegt im Zentrum eines kleinen abgeschiedenen Dorfes und hat einen sehr schönen baumbestandenen Vorgarten mit Terrasse, der Abstand zur nur ganz wenig befahrenen Dorfstrasse hält. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich, um im Nachbardorf Granicics einzukaufen oder Ausflüge nach Triest (3/4 Stunde) oder Koper (1/2 Stunde) zu machen. Es gibt keine unmittelbaren Nachbarn, so dass das Haus ruhig und erholsam ist. Zum Wohlfühlen und zur Selbstversorgung ist alles Nötige im Haus vorhanden - einschliesslich funktionierendem WLAN. Küche und Bad - durch zwei verschiedene Hauseingänge erschlossen - liegen im EG, zwei Schlafräume im OG. In der Hausbibliothek finden sich mehrsprachige Titel der Literatur und Landeskunde. Pavel ist ein vorzüglicher Gastgeber, der uns mit Rat und Tat insbesondere bei unseren Autoproblemen schnell und zuverlässig helfen konnte.

We had a wonderful stay, perhaps slightly too brief as only one night, but we definitely made the most of it. Pierpaolo was so friendly & welcoming & helpful & due to his strong connections with Skocjan is a wealth of information about the area with great recommendations of things to do. The caves are literally on your doorstep and were absolutely incredible. The scenery is beautiful and we loved everything about our stay. Thank you Pierpaolo we really hope to return one day.

Ein perfekter Platz, um über den Dächern von Triest ein paar Tage zu verbringen. Eine gepflegte, moderne Dachwohnung in einem ruhigen Viertel. Mit Bus und Straßenbahn gut zu erreichen. Geht auch zu Fuß, in der Hitze allerdings eine Herausforderung. Man kommt auch schnell mal aufs Land. Am angenehmsten war der Morgenkaffee, wenn die Sonne die Stadt erhellt und die Adria zu Füßen glitzert. Klare Empfehlung für Paolo.

We stayed at Villa Frantoio in early August and had a wonderful holiday. The villa is in a fabulous, quiet location on the side of a hill, with views over the valley to the hilltop village of Motovun - you really never get tired of the view! The house itself is built and fitted out to an exceptionally high standard, with three good sized double bedrooms, all of which are en suite. All of the furnishings and appliances are of high quality and the hosts, Ksenija and Elvis, seem to have thought of everything - they were also very quick to respond to any query. The village of Livade, which has three restaurants and a corner shop, is a short drive down the hill. This is an exceptional villa in a glorious location, with no immediate neighbours. The photos on AirBnB reflect the reality - you won’t be disappointed.

Daniela war eine tolle Gastgeberin! Unglaublich warmherzig und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns in der Sekunde wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, voller wunderbarer Bücher, blitzsauber und bietet sehr viel Platz um sich zurückzuziehen. Auch die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach perfekt! Mittendrin aber doch in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße! Wir freuen und auf den nächsten Besuch bei Daniela! Alles Liebe und bis Bald! Sophie, Sarah und Benjamin
