Monthly Rentals in Mayor Island / Tuhua

STAY HERE! If you’re in Tauranga or visiting Mount Maunganui it’s about a 10-15 min drive to each so you’re right in the middle. The surroundings are BEAUTIFUL. You can see the sunrise every morning over the jungle and hear the roosters and cows in the morning. If you’re lucky you’ll get a visit from their adorable cat Ella. The kitchen, bathroom and bed linens were clean and plentiful. There’s a “dairy” or convenience store a 3 min walk away. They were fantastic hosts that stocked the fridge with essentials and always made sure we had what we needed. They were attentive and quick to respond. We stayed at their tiny home for a month and it was a perfect retreat!

Such a lovely spot. The house had great amenities and was super clean. I was with group of friends and we found the place to be perfect. Nice outdoor sitting area, board games and books. Highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful views and a lovely little place. Was perfect for our short stay. Loree was lovely, very friendly and helpful. If we find ourselves back in Waihi Beach we will definitely be staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the KatiKati Kiwifruit Cottage. It's always great to explore regional areas, particularly when travelling overseas & it was a breakaway from traditional hotels which can all become very same/same. Thank you, Christine & Fred for welcoming us into your space.
