It‘s all about the details of design and living (from the signature house scent and the open-air shower to the tasteful interior design and the infinity pool overlooking the rough cliffs of crete), total peace far away from hustle and bustle and waking up to the breathtaking, unmatched view of the sea right from your bed. Einat was a great host, she welcomed us personally and was always there for any questions. Good to know: In the region are not many mini- or supermarkets and everything is at least a 15 min drive away. But you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the apartment if you want so and Einats recommendations for great tavernas, beaches and beautiful villages in the area are worth every ride! You should listen to her tips, because some of them were the gems of our crete trip for sure. It was definetly not our last visit. Thanks for the great experience!

Simply put, Georgoshouse is a little slice of heaven on earth! There is nothing pretentious to be found here. This is a family-run home with rooms to rent and a nice little taverna. The owners and staff are very kind and welcoming. And the pet-friendly environment is something I really appreciate. A sweet little seaside oasis, you can come here to escape the bustling crowds of the more touristy areas of Crete. The drive there is visually stunning and the heights a little dizzying. It is a bit scary if you have fear of heights, as the road is narrow without shoulders or guardrails. However, another option is to park in Hora Sfakion and take a water taxi over instead. That's what I'll do next time!

We had a wonderful stay at Hariklia's hotel! The room was comfortable and very clean, the kitchen had everything we need and the terrace an amazing sea-view. We especially enjoyed meeting other guests in the shared kitchen and on the terrace as there was a sense of community-living while we also had enough privacy. Hariklia is a wonderful, kind and helpful host - she offered great recommendations and cared for everthing we need.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. I really enjoyed my stay in Agia Galini, my apartment was nice and with everything you need and with a beautiful view of the port and the sea! Eleni was very welcoming and we communicated well, she also offered me a cake and a liquor and I thank her very much for her kindness and hospitality! Sas efrachisto poli! I recommend this apartment, which is close to everything!

Thank you Marios, in the price quality ratio is the best option. Maybe someone is embarrassed that there is no Wi-Fi function in the house, but there is free Wi-Fi 50 meters from the house. Quiet village, what I needed. Nearby free parking.

We really enjoyed staying at the Fedra Suites. The appartement is nice, comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the terrace to relax with the nice view. It was quiet despite having neighbours in the appartement beside. Georgos was very responsive and friendly. There are good restaurants that can be reached by walk (2-4 min of walk distance). Also very close to Plakias (5-7 min by car). This area is much quieter than the north of the Island. It is really a nice place to relax and absorb the beauty of the sea and landscape. We really enjoyed staying at this place and hope having the chance to return there. Nathalie and Dominick
