The "haus in spay" is a historic half-timbered house, built around 1545 in the Moselle village of Zell-Merl. It is located near the river at the foot of a sun-drenched southern slope on the Moselle, the well-known wine region with unique Riesling cultivation and Mediterranean culture. The monument ensemble with main house, the more recent vacation home and steep garden was extensively restored in 8.5 years of construction and mainly in own work according to ecological and traditional criteria.

Schlafsack reisen, und sich selbst versorgen oder die Gastro-Angebote im Ort nutzen. Biker, Wanderer...., die das Ursprüngliche und die Ruhe lieben, dürfen sich hier wohl fühlen. In der Hütte herrscht Nachts ein schönes Klima durch die Holzbauweise, fast wie draußen schlafen, aber doch komfortabel und geschützt.

In our holiday flat "Scheia" you will find a separate bedroom with a double bed. The living room/kitchen and bathroom are separate. With two additional sofa beds, up to 3 more people can stay here. Despite the heat outside, we had a wonderfully cool apartment, where everything was just great. I really can't name 1 min point. So cozy and tastefully decorated, a wonderful bed and shower with a nice hard jet of water. Marisa you can be proud of your apartment and I will most certainly advertise for you.

Very nice and cozy, high-quality furnished, clean and well-maintained quiet apartment in the Pies winery. You sleep in the top of the roof - it gets a little warm, but there is a fan. There are chests of drawers and a clothes rack for clothes. The house is located on the outskirts of the village directly on the vineyards, you can hike from the house or take the bus (free of charge with the guest ticket, twice an hour) to go easily to Cochem or other worthwhile destinations. Great area for hiking or cycling. The beautiful south-facing balcony is a great place to eat and has a side view of Mechernich Castle and, over the neighborhood, of the forests on the opposite side of the Moselle. The Moselle itself is not visible, but it can be reached in a few minutes on foot and you hear nothing from the main road. The hosts are extremely warm and friendly. Herbert is a winemaker with heart and soul and gave us a very personal cellar tour and wine tasting. Clear recommendation!

You will not regret booking this Airbnb! This is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Petra and Helmut went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed for our 4 month old daughter. They are such warm people. The accommodation was excellent, clean, convenient to town and you can not beat that view!

Nicole’s place one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. The home is new and everything is updated. Location is ideal being just far enough away from the main part of the town to avoid the crowds but close enough to reach by a very short car drive or bike ride. We rented bikes from a place just a 10 minute walk from the rental and this allowed us to explore many towns along the Moselle River quite easily. There is a grocery also within 10 min walk. Blackout shades were incredible and something I have not seen in the US but considering for my own home. Cochem was one of my favorite towns to visit and I would definitely return and stay at Nicole’s again without question.

Karin and Frank are fantastic hosts. Chilled drinks and refreshing fruit awaited us after the hot journey. We immediately felt at home and would love to come back. Simply recommended!!!
