Apartment holiday rentals in Methana

Found the apartment easily following George's instructions. Apartment is spacious with traditional furniture, large double bed with small but adequate kitchen facilities and washing machine. Balcony overlooked Markello Tower. George was very helpfull with recommendations on restaurants, places of interests, beaches, etc and responded quickly to messages. Short walk to sea front, harbour and bus station. Went to the pistachio festival concerts which were on when we were there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at George's and would stay here again.

Wonderful place – very pretty, charming, clean, easily accessible and conveniently located on the harbor. The view of the harbor from the room is super cute. The owners are also lovely – I couldn’t have asked for better! Thank you again!

Dafni’s place is pretty with a great view of the harbour. The main Skala beach is also not really far, and the Megalochori beach is only a five minute walk. There’s a good restaurant and bar just around the corner and a lovely cafe/tavern a little further up the little hill. There are also two supermarkets nearby. It’s quieter than if you’d stay in a hotel at Skala but I really enjoyed my stay here - the only thing that bothered my friend and I was the bathroom. It’s really tiny and tough to keep dry because the water from the shower gets everywhere even with the curtains pulled around the shower area. There was also no towel provided to soak/clean the water - we just used one we found in the house. It would’ve also been nice to have some lights on the patio (or at least we didn’t find any) to be able to spend some time there in the evening as well. But all in all it was a good experience staying here :)

My wife and I had an excellent experience. The place was beautiful and had everything you need for a few days of relaxation. Special mention It must be done on the balcony overlooking the sea, in a neighborhood without any traffic and noise. Also, the beach "Loutra" was 3 minutes away on foot and was one of the best on the island, in our opinion, given the cleanliness of the waters, the crowd it attracted and the service of the nearest cafe. Finally, a reference to Mrs. Penny who was very helpful in everything we asked and always direct and accessible on the phone. If we come back to Aegina, we will definitely choose it again.

What an amazing apartment. Fantastic location with stunning views, yet very private - no one else was in the complex while we were there. Lots of facilities; the big barbecue and pool were our absolute favourite. 😉 Panos was a great host - very quick to respond and shares tips for places to see and restaurants. Just make sure to bring enough mosquito repellent, if you don’t want to end up as insect dinner.

Tasteful stone house with wonderful sea view. Quiet area with good access. Communication with the host was direct and in our case, we were given the opportunity for early check in.

Wow! What a great place! So clean and homey and the location is great. Rene was so responsive and thoughtful and always made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t recommend this place enough!

The time in Matt and Alexsandra Blue house was incredible. Very nice place and the accessibility is incredible. Matt and Alexsandra were lovely and very attentive! Highly recommend if you want to explore Poros, as its close to the beach in a walking distance or the town. We stayed only 3 nights and easily would stay a few more as the house and location were top! Thank you both Matt and Alexsandra for having us, hopefully we can visit soon

Georgios' house is a dreamy place, in the middle of a large garden with lemon and orange trees and with direct access to the sea. The apartment is very nice, tastefully and individually furnished. But the absolute highlight is the large roof terrace with the wonderful view, where you can also endure the heat. A good tavern and a beach bar are just a few minutes' walk away.

Sue’s place was a gem. Easy walking distance from the bustling Hydra port and 2 minutes walk to a gorgeous swimming spot, restaurants and cafes. The apartment is exactly as described with a gorgeous outdoors area with views of the mountain and had everything we needed. Sue was very responsive to our messages and offered to help with transport from the harbour. We are fit and strong but if you are not I would take her recommendation for a sea taxi or donkey. Sue has a wealth of knowledge of the island and surrounding areas and has lots to offer in terms of travel planning beyond Hydra. We would definitely come again and understand why we met so many people who return to Hydra every year. As an extra bonus Sue also offered to do our washing for us and we woke to find clean clothes on the line waiting for us.

Very wonderful place with the best staff on the island, near a small beach with crystal clear water, Kostas and his staff helps you with everything. P.s. The best mousaka that exists on earth 👌🏻 All the best to them!

Lovely, cosy apartment with great views of the ocean from the terrace. Eleni is a fantastic host - nothing is too much trouble, from renting a donkey for your luggage to providing a list of great restaurant recommendations. Surrounding area is lovely and quiet, but beaches and the port area are all within walking distance. A great base to explore the island from!

It was one of the best Airbnbs. Well organized, spacious room, clean bathroom with essential amenities. Highly recommend if you visit Hydra. One thing to mention is that if you bring a suitcase, take a seataxi. it only takes 15 minutes by walk from the port but with the suitcase it won't be easy.

The stay at Veronica’s place was AMAZING! Beautifully furnished, so clean and great amenities. The bed was the comfiest bed and pillows were great. Veronica gave really clear instructions on check in and was really responsive, she also left us wine and water in the fridge on check in. It’s the perfect place for exploring Glyfada, Athens and the surroundings areas, we would definitely stay again!

Penny’s place is super clean and well taken care of. The Airbnb is located in a very nice village, walking distance from a nice beach and from the center of the village, restaurants and supermarket. Penny is an extraordinary host and super friendly. She really cares about her guests and will make sure they feel at home and welcome. She leaves also some treats from the island and water, which is really appreciated! I would recommend Penny and her place to everyone!

Great place Very fast and helpful Communication In a lovely area!!

Beautiful, bright and luxurious apartment as in the photos. In a quiet/private spot in the city but at the same time very close to the port on foot. Beautiful experience the space with the jacuzzi on the roof. The host is polite, communicative and always available to immediately resolve any unforeseen issues.

If you are looking for a quiet slice of island life you can't do better than staying at Faidon's House. Located in a quiet pocket of Aegina away from the hustle of the port area, Faidon's House is a real treat. Numerous tavernas operated by some true characters are within a short walk as are several beach bars to while away the hours staring out at the beautiful horizon of glistening blue sea and stunning island vistas. Alkis is a superb host, responding immediately to any questions we had during our stay as well as sending over some recommendations for places to visit beforehand.

We stayed in this beautiful Airbnb in Glyfada for two weeks, and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and exactly as described. The host was helpful and very responsive to any questions we had. The location was ideal. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, and public transportation, including both the tram and bus. It was also just a short bus ride to the metro station, making it simple to get into central Athens. We come to Athens regularly and will definitely stay here again.

Loved the location and the size of the apartment. Would recommend to friends. That said, 2 things need to be improved. Dust in the bedrooms on headboard and night tables and bed sheets need to be much improved. Wife dusted both rooms. Sheets were very old and did not feel clean. If these 2 things are changed this definitely would be a 5 star rating.

Wonderful home. the automatic locking doors made the home feel very secure. the large balcony was a show stopper. so comfortable to sit out. extremely modern home with almost everything controlled via remote controls. large tv offered many options including wfh options. we felt right at home. grocery store a block to the west. shopping and restaurants within a block to the east. glyfada was a wonderful respite from the congestion in central. Definitely would return.
