Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mialet

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Our stay in Suomen was simply wonderful a true hidden gem in the South of France! The accommodation was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. You can really feel the care and love the host has put into every detail. What made it extra special was the peaceful setting surrounded by nature, perfect for unwinding, yet still within easy reach of nearby sights and villages. We had breakfast outside every morning, with a view of rolling hills and the sound of birds all around pure magic. Our host was warm, helpful, and always available if we needed anything, while also giving us space to relax and enjoy. We felt truly welcomed and at home from the very first moment. We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace, where the view is breathtaking. We were greeted with great kindness and very good advice for visiting the region. Agnes and her husband are very friendly and flexible. The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

The place is simply sublime. The house is beautiful and the environment is a real postcard. It is a peaceful place, between stones and nature. The owners are adorable and Blandine is really responsive. Thank you very much.

We spent wonderfully relaxing days here. The passing road is quite busy, but you quickly stop noticing the noise (and I'm pretty sensitive to noise). Sitting in the lush garden by the pool, you feel like you're in paradise anyway, really beautifully done. Everything is well fenced/surrounded by a wall, so it was also very easy with the dog. Right behind the house you can go for a nice walk. We really enjoyed the grill with plancha plate, the pizza wood oven, as well as the portafilter coffee machine! Thanks to the air conditioning, you could sleep very well. The hosts are extremely accommodating and always quickly accessible if you have a question. We will be happy to come back!

I’ll start by saying that it will be very difficult to give a 5 star review again after spending a week at Le Mas de L’arboras. We came here for our wedding and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was clean, spacious, and even better than the photos. The hosts, Agathe & Alexandre, were incredibly friendly & helpful. We loved the private wine tour of Agathe’s winery, Enclos de la Croix. The dogs were a welcome addition, we even stole one for a night to stay with us because it was so cute. We’d also like to thank Alina, the housekeeper, for an amazing experience. She went above and beyond for us every single day. From rides into town, breakfasts with homemade jam, and lengthy wedding day errands, she was truly a godsend for our wedding day. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay in this beautiful apartment, spacious, bright and decorated with great taste. The village is quiet and pleasant. Boris is a very nice and caring host, we will gladly come back to their home.

We warmly recommend this cottage. We had a very nice stay with breakfast on the terrace, beautiful hikes... The place is absolutely charming, with also a small ceramic workshop 2 minutes walk away. Cyril was also very available for our questions! Thank you!

excellent stay, incredible accommodation in terms of comfort and taste, only downside the noise of the jacuzzi engine but good it does not prevent you from enjoying it fully, I highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a great stay at Pierrick's! He was super nice, welcoming and really caring throughout the stay. The accommodation was as advertised and we felt comfortable there right away. I recommend it without hesitating!

Amaury’s place was stunning and in a great location. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and it was easy to find and walk from the station. Amaury was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

My wife, eight month old daughter and I had a wonderful 7 nights stay at Nathalie’s place. As other reviews have described it’s very peaceful and the view from the terrace is second to none. We had many bbqs and the heated pool was a big plus. The house had all amenities and Nathalie was always quick and helpful to come back on any questions we had. Thank you for a great stay!

What an amazing place! It was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in the heart of nature, the setting was absolutely serene—surrounded by trees, birdsong, and beautiful views in every direction. Everything was perfect! The house, the view, the nature, the region, the host… all of us were very extremely happy to stay at Olivier’s place.

Fab place, great social spaces for our group. The location was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating and let us check in two hours early and communicated well throughout. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and thought it was very reasonably priced. The parking area is very tight behind the gate if you’re driving a large people carrier, so takes a little while to park, but still serves its function well. A neighbour dealt with us during our stay - only speaks French - so good to keep this in mind if you don’t have a member / speak French yourself. Luckily one of our party spoke French, so it was fine. The neighbour wasn’t very warm but definitely didn’t take away from a beautiful place in a gorgeous village and a great stay. It was clean, the pool and games were fab, and the BBQ was brilliant. Definitely recommend the local cafe / pub for drinks in the evening too, it’s gorgeous!

This house and the surrounding grounds are amazing. This was the most impressive AirBnB we have ever stayed in. We stayed here for one week for a family gathering. It is as big (or bigger) than the pictures show. The house is beautiful and modern. The grounds are spectacular. They even have 8 small tortoises on the premises which the kids loved to feed. The pool is huge. You feel like you are on the grounds of a palace. Additionally, Najet and her husband were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the south of France.

Staying with Kinnari and her family in the countryside in Canaules-et-Argentières was wonderful. Quiet lovingly maintained property, beautiful pool, beautiful park-like garden, beautiful details in the apartment, on the seating area and in the garden that made the stay so relaxed. Even the mosquito spray was ready upon arrival. There is a new bike path in the area and the walks along the vineyards were accompanied by shade again and again thanks to the lush vegetation.
