I had a great experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was super convenient—close to restaurants, shops, and easy to get around. The host was responsive, and made check-in and check-out really easy. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, hassle-free place to stay in Boothbay Maine 🦞

2025 marks our third year running staying at Elizabeth's lovely home in Maine for an annual fishing trip to Lake Arrowhead! I could not recommend staying here enough due to the privacy offered, comfortable sleeping arrangements available for several guests, homey living room for lounging, and excellent set-up for fishing, grilling, and building a campfire. Elizabeth's home is truly the perfect place to retreat for a relaxing and cozy getaway! It's clique to say but her house truly feels like home away from home for our group. Each of our stays has been incredible not only due to what the house offers but also due to Elizabeth's excellent communication leading up to our trips and during our stays. She is incredibly friendly and always highly responsive to texts and calls to answer any and all questions! We're already looking forward to next year!

Emily’s place was the perfect getaway for our long weekend in KPT! We loved staying here and look forward to coming back!!

Cathy’s place was wonderful for our family stay. Lots of space to hang out, everything is super clean, and Cathy provides everything you could need. She was also very gracious when we were not out by 10 AM, thinking that checkout time was 11. We would definitely stay here again and strongly recommended. Thank you, Cathy!

We had a great week at Charissa’s place. Everything was as listed. Charissa has thought of everything you need to have a comfortable stay. This place is very large and allows for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We will stay here again, if we are ever in the area. Thanks Charissa for the plentiful fruit basket and delicious blueberry muffins. Such a nice breakfast treat!

It is a home, not another place set up for visitors. Its warm, inviting, beautiful and perfect location. We will return, if not many more times in the future.

What a beautiful stay. It was my first time in the area and at Acadia NP and I’m so happy I chose Jackie’s place in Winter Harbor rather than the busy Bar Harbor side. It was so peaceful and quiet in the evenings. There were also walking distance hikes in Acadia NP. There is a ferry on the Winter Harbor side to take into Bar Harbor which was a lovely scenic trip and incredibly convenient. There is a delicious seafood restaurant right down the street that was walking distance from the house as well. Jackie was so responsive and a great host. I would 10/10 book again.

The feeling of being on this beautiful estate is amazing. We felt like the Duke and Dutchess of Bristol. The grounds are beautifully manicured and invite strolls through the orchard, down scenic walking paths, and down to the large pond for a swim or glorious paddle on the provided canoes and kayaks. Timothy is thoroughly delightful, warm and charming. It felt like we were staying on the estate of a treasured old friend. We look forward to returning again and again.

We enjoyed staying with Trudy and Michael! Very responsive to all my questions/requests. It was a unique experience in the treehouse that met all of our needs! We looked forward to the homemade muffins and fresh fruit every morning! Easy walk to the footbridge and all the attractions/restaurants/shops. Definitely recommend to those looking for a quiet place that is close to the harbor!

Staying at Jin and Wayne’s place was truly restorative. BEAUTIFUL property, LOVELY hosts, PERFECTLY appointed. We were amazed at all the thoughtful touches and calming atmosphere. The beds and linens were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We stayed in lilac, peony, and iris blooming season - their gardens are spectacular. We met Jim and she was so friendly and lovely. We felt welcomed and guided. Rockland was charming, quiet, with great walking trails, shops, and activities. They have a good selection of Wyeths and other Maine artists at the Farnsworth Gallery. VERY friendly town and we will return to stay at Salty Cape. Thank you for a PERFECT stay.

We were 2 couples staying for a week. Rooms were spacious and had several comfortable lounging areas. The bedding was clean and looked like new. Ralph is a fantastic cook and had homemade breakfast items most mornings. I highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved Lise’s apartment. It had a beautiful view of Cadillac Mountain. The kitchen was updated, high end appliances and had everything in it that we could need, from organic eggs, bread to fruit and yogurt. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the bathroom with the hand held shower. She was the was the most friendly,attentive hostess we have ever had. This is one of the best AirBNBs we have stayed at and we have stayed in many. A great place in a fabulous location, right in the heart of Bar Harbor. The place easily accommodated us (family of 5 + dog), check in was clear and easy, and was exactly as described. There is a bit of noise from the bar nearby at night around their closing time, but it's a small price to pay for a great unit in a perfect location. There's also access to the nearby resort, including breakfast, pool, and fire pit, all overlooking the ocean. Would totally return to this unit on another trip to Acadia!

The perfect stay for an Acadia Park home base - location can’t be beat! Breakfast each morning was delicious, room was very cute and comfy, staff was friendly! We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend. We have two young children and this was the perfect couples getaway. The Airbnb was so quiet and cozy. We slept so peacefully after long hiking days. Sue is an amazing cook and breakfast was delicious! Early hikes and travel plans didn’t allow us to always eat in person, but Sue and Eric thoughtfully prepared delicious baked goods and fruit for us. They were quick with communication and extremely organized. Everything was very clean too. I would stay here again and hope to in the future when we are back to visit Acadia.

What a wonderful time we had staying with Libbey and Jeep. It was a beautiful house in a beautiful setting, we were comfortable and very happy with the accommodations. Most of all, we really enjoyed talking with and getting to know our hosts!

We loved our stay at Carol! She was a wonderful host and made us feel at home. She made a very tasteful homemade breakfast every morning and we enjoyed chatting with her while eating all the delicious food. Carol was also very helpful and gave us a lot of tips to make our stay at Arcadia unforgettable!

Our stay at Bill’s was excellent. It is right in the middle of a charming town. It is a short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Our dog was also welcome which was great! Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time at Daniel’s Airbnb! We were greeted with a warm reception and delicious apple cake with delicious sweet tea! I can’t say enough good things about Daniel and his beautiful home. We felt right at home. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Our accommodations were very comfortable. Best part was the delicious breakfast with coffee and tea and scrumptious omelette with homemade hash browns! I wanted the recipe! I highly recommend Daniel’s place, it made our vacation a little more special! PS: Reds Eats in Wiscasset Maine was the best ( Paul Newman and Robert Redford ate there too) Thanks for the recommendation!!

Dr. Jerr is a very kind and generous host - he provided us with fresh coffee and breakfast snacks each morning during our stay. We loved the location on Cape Elizabeth, close to Portland, and to many beautiful coastal and woodland trail walks. We came home laden with fish, flash frozen from the fish markets in Portland - thank you Dr. Jerr for your recommendation. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Dr. Jerr for exploring the stunning Maine coast and hope to find ourselves back on Cape Elizabeth again next year. Tom & Gillian Hamilton

We had a fabulous stay with Wayne and Deborah. Wayne went out of his way to give us a very informative tour of Winter Harbor. Deborah shared her knowledge of local history. They are fabulous hosts. On our final morning they made us a special breakfast of bagels, smoked salmon and capers. The house is stunning. I loved all of the art and memorabilia Deborah has collected over a lifetime. It’s such a cozy, welcoming home with thoughtful touches. We went to dinner with them on our last night. They are fascinating people who’ve lived a life of adventure. Needless to say we would definitely stay again and hope to in the future.
