Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Mid Suffolk District

A great little base for us to stay at and get ready for an event. Small property but still plenty of space for everyone.

The Apartment was exactly as nice as described and as pictured in the listing. The Kitchen and Bathroom were nice, modern, and well equipped to a high standard. The Beds were comfortable. Even the sofa bed, which has a firm mattress, was surprisingly comfortable. Only, if you are taller than 5'7"/ 172cm the sofa bed might be a bit short for you. The location was excellent. The area around the apartment was nice and quiet at night. Everything of interest was within a few minutes walking distance (Food, Pubs, Shopping, Bars). St. Giles Street is a 1 minute Walk from the front door, and a great place to arrange a Taxi/Veezu Pickup. (The fare to NWI was less than £10, and took less than 30min) Jake, our Host, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, allowing us to check in early, and was very supportive when we had any questions. I would certainly stay here again, and can recommend this apartment for couples, or up to 3 Adults, visiting Norwich City.

Sweet quiet spot in busy area but tucked away and very peaceful. Immediate access to amenities and not too far from the centre. Fast response and very smooth self check in which more hosts need to get better at. Gary nailed it,

I took my two kids to stay at Moat Island for a couple of nights during Half Term whilst we visited relatives nearby. It was the perfect mid-point location, but also felt like a special and memorable site. The bell tents are cosy and warm, and the composting toilet next to ours was the nicest I’ve ever used. I found myself going to it repeatedly when I only needed to walk about 20m more to get to the plumbed indoor ones! We enjoyed having a communal kitchen area, as it allowed us to chat to a few our ‘neighbours’. The outdoor pond/pool was utterly freezing, but worth a dip. And thankfully the nearby showers were gloriously warm.

Me and my partner stayed here for one night to celebrate his birthday and we had a lovely time! The studio was a great size to accommodate us both. We ate at the restaurant/bar/pub adjoined to it and had great food and service there too. They helped us with the checking in and turning on the heating - everything was sorted instantly for us. A lovely place for a weekend get away and would definitely recommend as well as return! :)

Angie was an excellent host - quick at replying and helpful. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed - roomy, very clean and comfy beds. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. Dog friendly and a secure area at the front of the property. Thank you for a lovely stay - if we are in the area again we’ll certainly be back.

A fabulous quirky house. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the location and peace & quiet. The stairs to the attic rooms are quite steep but I came down them backwards which was far for manageable for my poor old knees. Was the perfect spot for the getaway we hoped for.

We stayed as a group of friends at this charming house, and it exceeded all our expectations! The property was even more stunning than the pictures, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. Vanessa is incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway. We can't recommend this place enough and would like to return one day!

From the moment we booked our stay at Deer Cottage, the communication was absolutely superb. Tina, the host, was incredibly accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in which meant we could settle in and start relaxing a little sooner than expected – a lovely gesture! Deer Cottage itself was nothing short of delightful, living up to its description perfectly. It was an ideal spot for some much-needed R&R. Every single detail had been thought of to ensure our comfort, from a lovely hamper of goodies waiting for us, to robes and slippers. These thoughtful touches really made the stay feel special. We highly recommend Deer Cottage for anyone seeking a comfortable, relaxing, and well-appointed getaway. We can't wait to return!

We had a great time at Andrew's house. It's the perfect space for large groups and very quirky! We were grateful to Andrew for letting us leave cars at the house earlier in the day as check-in is fairly late (3pm). It would be good to have more detailed instructions regarding check-in but otherwise everything was great and I would definitely recommend Andrew's place.

Beautiful home with lovely garden and amazing swimming pool and hot tub.

Lovely house, within easy walking distance of the beach. Great space for a seaside holiday. The hot tub and fire pit were welcome after a busy day. Well equipped kitchen, both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and a lovely little outside area too. Dedicated parking spaces were handy too. The only negative point was the BT Telecom cabinet on the road outside. Not the host's fault of course, but it hums noticeably, and could disturb light sleepers in the front bedroom.

The Dragonfly was just exceptional! Everything about it was of the best standard, luxury. From the toilet paper to the bedding. There are 6 or 7 other venues on the White lodge estate run by Victoria but it all feels very private. Yes it is in a very quiet location and you need to drive to restaurants etc but the facilities to cater for yourself are pretty much as you have at home. Coffee maker with pods provided! We cannot really give high enough praise. We had 3 wonderful nights at the Dragonfly, thank you Victoria and all those who do the background stuff we never saw.

Fabulous place to stay - we will definitely be returning. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The location is fabulous and very peaceful and there was everything we needed in the property. The fresh bread was a fabulous gesture too. We will pass the details of this property to friends and family and as Arni said - we will return x

We love the house, beautiful back yard with BBQ facilities connected with a spacious kitchen / dinner area. The whole family enjoyed the stay. Peftect local, very close driving distance to chlemsford City center where you can find all kind of supermarkets, Restaurant and shopping Malls.
