We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

Excellent stay. Allen was a pleasure to work with. Always responsive and quick. The place was spotless and had what we needed. The general store front door is adorable. I needed to have a work meeting through zoom while I was there and the internet was strong in the cottage. The town has spotty service. Thank you Allen. We would stay here again.

Amy and Andy are excellent hosts! I had so much fun. I was just a little disappointed in the wi-fi/internet connection but Andy is doing his best to correct it. This is my second time staying here and I will be coming back! I highly recommend it!

Nothing but great things to say about Pelican Place. The accommodations were excellent and TV couldn’t have been a more kind and helpful host. The location was perfect for exploring Irvington and the surrounding area. Hope to get back again soon!

Jacqueline’s place was lovely. There were many thoughtful touches such as blueberry muffins upon our arrival and numerous toiletries available for our use. The bed was very comfortable, and the entire place in good order. We visit this area regularly and will happily stay here again!

We had a great stay over the holiday weekend! The stay was spacious and had beautiful views on the water. Lots of amenities just wish it was warmer to take out the kayaks. Very interested in staying here again maybe sometime over the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Guesthouse. The place is like a home away from home, with a well-stocked and modern open kitchen, games and other activities ready to play, and many ways to regulate the temperature of any area. We also appreciated that there were extra blankets and towels in case we needed them. It is a bit of a drive past the intersection in White Stone proper, but the drive is relaxed and interesting. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

My wife is a bit of a planner so scheduling a last-minute getaway is not something I do often, but I'm so glad I did. This was exactly what we needed, A few days away from the stresses of life and family. This home met all of those needs. It was quiet, secluded and overall a very beautiful location and home. It had everything we needed and more. The small towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock offered many fantastic food options which we definitely took advantage of. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We have already started looking to see if we can plan a trip here with the whole family. Thanks again to our host who was very responsive and helped answer all of our questions.

I rented Deborah’s place for my family so they could stay close by to my home in Urbanna. The house was spotless easy to find easy to get in and very well equipped. While the weather didn’t cooperate, there was plenty to do and the house feels much larger than it is due to the open floor plan and lovely decor. The house is less than five minutes from town and there is lots of shopping close by as well as several restaurants which we visited. We really enjoyed the quiet tranquility and the well-thought-out decor. One of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. We will be back!

Had a very peaceful and relaxing stay with my family at Rivah Mojo! This house perfectly accommodated my elderly grandmother and provided everything we needed from toiletries to kitchen gear. We especially enjoyed spending time on the screened-in porch and appreciating the beautiful landscape & wildlife. With the waterfront access and variety of outdoor activities, this destination would be ideal for just about anyone!

Great location. Igor was very responsive. We did Busch Gardens and Water Country from here. The pool was a great place to hang out on days we didn't have plans. The apartment was spacious and decently equipped kitchen. Our only complaint is squeaky bed which were fairly disruptive, but we still really enjoyed stay. Great value considering what it costs to rent a house these days. Highly recommend Igor's place.

Really nice hotel resort with a great kids pool and close to the parks. We had a wonderful stay in a 2 bedroom unit…no smart TVs so consider bringing a fire stick but other than that it was lovely. Would definitely stay there again

We had a great stay at the colonies. It was a very convenient location close to lots of things to do. The pool area was super fun for all ages! The condo itself was set up nice and worked well for our group of 9

This was my first time using Airbnb, and our host Lisa was great! She was very responsive, answering all of my questions in a timely fashion. The resort that we stayed at was wonderful for our family getaway. It had a great layout for both privacy and family time, walking area around the resort for our dog and peaceful setting. I will definitely look for this option again when choosing a place to stay. Thank you, Lisa, for making this such a great experience for me.

We were met at the dock by Tommy (4 brothers restaurant) with the golf cart we rented separately and made the short trip to Travis' Unit. We drove around the small island to check out the two open gift shops, beach, and only open restaurant; Lorraine's. The locals were very friendly and I can see us returning to this Island Getaway... without leaving Virginia.😎😊

Fantastic area to vacation with family and kids. The waterpark/pool is a lot of fun. Staff was responsive with any questions or concerns (we had a wasps nest on the back patio that was quickly terminated by the on-call maintenence crew). Lots to do in the area, shopping, dining, breweries/wineries, theme parks, local parks, mini golf, etc. Highly recommended!

It was a lovely location, with an easy drive to all the local attractions. The unit was very clean and the perfect space to stay for the month. Making us feel right at home.
