We had an amazing 3‑night getaway at Maxwell’s charming property in Summertown to celebrate our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. The hot weather was perfect for taking full advantage of the fantastic pool, and we loved dining al fresco every night—watching the sunset and the full moon rise added an extra touch of magic to our evenings. Although there’s plenty to explore in the Adelaide Hills, we chose to relax on the property and enjoy all the facilities, including the new sauna (a delightful bonus, even if we weren’t quite sure of the protocol!). Maxwell was a fantastic host—always communicative and even arranged a private dinner from the owners of Marshi’s Kitchen, a local Sri Lankan restaurant that was simply divine. We highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing retreat.

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

Had a great weekend in Glenelg for a friend's 60th. Short walk to Jetty road and the Marina for a multitude of dining choices. The home was comfortable and tidy. We were able to cook breakfast on the BBQ and for tea were able to use the kitchen for our seafood banquet. Due to it being such a cold weekend were unable to use the pool hut would expect it would be a great bonus for summer days. Loved watching the planes coming in over the ocean. We were a group of 6 adults.

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. A big thank you to our hosts ☺️

We loved our stay. We spent lots of time with our kids in front of the fire and exploring the property. The stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed exploring for kangaroos, koalas and possums.

It was a lovely and spacious place - we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone else!

We had a lovely stay at Paul’s & John’s. The house was very well stocked with amenities, everything you could need and more. The location is great and easy to access the airport, shops, cafes etc. The home was very clean and there were lots of extra blankets if needed. Perfect place for small kids as there were no breakables on display and the backyard is fully fenced.

The Cobbler's @ Bowden is one of the best homes we have stayed in! And we were so pleased that our dog was welcome too. We were in Adelaide over a (very welcome) rainy few days but the home was warm and cosy. It is beautifully styled and furnished and extremely comfortable with all that we required and more! There is ample storage in the bedroom as well as in the kitchen. And everything was immaculate. The garden was a lovely space for the moments of sunshine. The home is so close to everything we wanted – Plant 4 and other coffee shops and bakeries just a short stroll; the walking paths along the river were a highlight each morning, and Rundle Mall only a 30 minute walk away. We didn't use public transport, but all was close by. We had no problem parking in the garage with our large sedan (it reversed in easily) and, as luck would have it, there was always a spare free parking spot right out the front. We loved staying here and will be back!

Things I liked; A great quiet, safe, clean, spacious unit. Very comfy bed. Excellent use of space. Full kitchen and they had my favourite milk in the fridge. Walking distance to shops and public transport. I particularly recommend to a person travelling for work, interstate for wedding, and looking for quiet alternative to hotel room.

Twas a great to stay at Sam’s place. We loved the accomodation it’s very spacious, tidy and nice to stay at the backyard and most of all close to the airport and the city

I felt very welcome at Rachel's. Very responsive and thoughtful host The house was very comfortable and and had everything I needed for a home away from home. Even catered really comfortably for my dog. Walks to the parklands were a highlight each day. Neighbours were very friendly too.

We loved our stay here for almost 2 weeks. It was perfectly set-up and Sarah even had toys and a cot available for our 1-year-old. Good walkability to Bowden area and river. Would highly recommend for a couple with a young baby.

The apartment is modern, stylish and beautifully furnished. The location suited what we were after and there is everything you need within the apartment for a comfortable stay. Instructions were clear and there was good communication from the host. The only issue would be for those with mobility concerns as there are a number of stairs but it was fine for us. Would recommend to others.

Jessie was a fantastic host, very responsive and very open to being helpful, my family and I were able to check in early as we had traveled far which was very accommodating. as hosts you could not ask for better. the place was meticulously clean and well equipped. thanks for the great stay!

Fabulous stay in Adelaide! Charming interior and located about 5-10mins to the city by drive. Clean housing and very comfortable for a group of 4.

Great house for our family of 5. Lots of space and each child with their own room! Very comfortable house to base ourselves for a long weekend. Damian was a perfect host, providing an early checkin, great with communication and the house was set up with everything we needed and more. The amenities and food/ snacks that he provided was an added bonus and allowed us to settle in without having to quickly find a supermarket. Highly recommend the property and will definitely book again when we’re back in Adelaide!

A beautiful space. Super clean and cozy all around. The beds were comfy, and the bedding was soft and warm. The couches were large and a great area for relaxing, especially with the fireplace going. It felt really private and peaceful, which made the stay even better. The heated floors in the bathroom were such a nice touch. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the space.

We loved our stay at Deborah’s place. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed. A lovely area to stay, lots of places to eat within walking distance and the city very easy to get to.

I found Little Forest Retreat to be a wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is designed beautifully, every convenience is catered for. The bed is comfortable with beautiful linen. It has a great courtyard that catches the sun around mid morning at the moment & is very Private. I loved being able to walk to Mitcham Shopping centre, such a great centre with a movie theatre, only a 5 min walk, also the Train is only a block away. There was nothing I would wish to change or add, all needs are catered for. The hosts Mandy & Rachel answered any queries quickly, they were delightful, respectful and helpful. I will be back to stay. Thank you very much.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. When I walked into the home it felt so warm and cozy. The character home was beautifully updated to a modern touch, still keeping the period features. One of my dogs slept in the kitchen soundly. My other doggie slept in my car soundly. It was peaceful and quiet at night. Kelly was so lovely helping me out for an extra night. I highly recommend this property and Kelly was a brilliant host.

The home is spotless. The furniture and bedding are so comfortable. Walking distance to Jetty Road and some beautiful places to eat. Close to beach. The home is so beautiful didn’t want to leave. Will definitely book again. Loved the fire place and everything about the place.
