Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Minato City

I’m in town with my family and we wanted some place cozy and near the action. This more than delivered. But, as it happened, our daughter got sick 🤧 and so this place was an AMAZING place in which to recover. It had tons of extra water, toilet paper. It came with good rooms, with separate climate controls. It’s quiet. the rooms are socially distant from each other. The shower 🚿 was awesome. It’s very easy to stay clean, and keep up on laundry. And through it all, our host periodically checked in on us with helpful reminders and suggestions that really helped. We loved 🥰 our time here. We’ve been to Japan many times and spent a lot more, on some occasions, to get far less than we did this time. Thank you 🙏🏼 for a wonderful stay!

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

Ko an Yuko’s place is beautiful. It’s a 3 floor standalone house in an awesome location. You can reach anywhere in Tokyo within a 10 minute walk to the station. The neighborhood itself is peaceful and quiet and it’s hard to believe that within a 2-5-10 minute walk how many great restaurants there are. The famous shibuya scramble is also around a 10 minute walk. The home itself is beautiful full of amenities that you could need in a bnb. Kitchen, bathroom, rooms all are well equipped and easy to use. The best part ofcourse are the hosts they personally greeted us and spent a long time explaining everything about the home and the neighborhood. They are really nice people and they care a lot. Ko and Yuko are very thoughtful, warm and friendly people. It was lovely to have made such nice friends.

YouTubeで見てからずっと楽しみしてた子供達(5歳、4歳、0歳)。お菓子が隠してあったり、隠し通路があったりと大興奮でテーマパークに住んでいるかのようでした。 バスルームやトイレもカビひとつなく、各部屋も清潔で赤ちゃんもたくさんハイハイさせることができました。粉ミルクまで置いてあって助かりました。 帰る頃には子供達の体力も限界で…午後の予定は詰め込まない方が良さそうです。 今度は他のシリーズにも泊まってみたいです！

大変お世話になりました。とても貴重な体験をさせていただきました。本や雑誌で見ていたとはいえ、やはり実際に体感してみて納得の連続でした。東京なのに穏やかで、とても暮らしやすいと感じました。スミレアオイハウスはありきたりな言葉ですが、とても居心地が良く、手触りが良く、程よい空間で25年前に本を読んで感動した時の感覚がリアルに蘇り、さらに肌感覚で素晴らしさを体感できました。本当にゲストハウスにされたことを心から感謝します。体験させていただき本当にありがとうございました。

Awesome home with short walk to Hiroo Station and small park nearby for the kiddos to run around and play. The home and amenities exceeded our expectations, for example, kitchen was equipped with cooking supplies and bathroom had quality products. Also, the kids had fun playing with the legos and play-kitchen. Highly recommend!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Kanako was awesome!! We had a sudden 7 hour delay for our flight out of Haneda leaving us stranded at the airport for 13 hours with 2 pets and no where to go. I found Kanako’s air bnb and messaged her earlier in the morning asking if we could come by around noon even though it was before check in time because we needed a place to go with our pets asap! She responded right away and let us come by whenever we were ready. The place was clean, convenient and just what we needed! It was so kind of her to take our pets too. She is an awesome host!

Very good neighborhood and a very nice place, will recommend for anyone traveling to Tokyo!

Beautiful and spacious place right next to the Takanawadai station so finding the place is not hard and also after a long day of walking and exploring you get off the train and walk 1 minutes from station exit and reach your accommodation. Where in the world can you get your own private gym in Air Bnb at this palce you do. The place is clean and exactly as described. I would say that if you are taller then 6 feet then you might have limited space in bed. The beds are tatami style and are comfortable with clean linen. The place has two toilets and 2 bathing area. Kitchen is clean and the utensils are provided but we did not do any cooking so did not see what is available. Another good feature is the water cooler so you do not have to but water for the accommodation. Seven eleven and lawson is short walking distance. Great place highly recommend Keiko is a great host and we will be back.

Shun hosted a great place, was perfect for what my mates and I needed. 10/10 would Shun again

Yui war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Es wurde immer schnell geantwortet. Ein frühzeitiges abstellen der Koffer wurde ermöglicht. Die Lage ist gut. Es ist eine hochwertige und ruhige Gegend. Wer abends nicht im Trubel nach Hause kommen möchte ist hier richtig. Die U-Bahn ist eher 13-15 Minuten entfernt. Bus dafür nur 4.

Highly recommend, and would stay again. Masa even helped us arrange for a van to pick up my family and I from the airport and drive us to the AirBNB. Loved the location…easy walk to the train station, restaurants, grocery and konbini. I was able to forward our luggage to our next hotel to hold using the nearby 7 Eleven. Everything about our trip was made easier and more enjoyable because we stayed here.

Elle’s place was the perfect first stop on our first family holiday with our baby. She has all the amenities we needed and her place was perfect for exploring Tokyo. It was exactly as described and very comfortable for our family.

Yuui’s place was a great base to explore Tokyo. Specifically walking distance to Ginza, Shimbashi station and Roppongi. It was clean and well maintained. The place felt safe and was well lit at night. It was quiet and peaceful, away from the touristy areas. There was a convenience store and eateries nearby. Yuui was a kind and friendly host, willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our needs.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

Our group had a very enjoyable stay. Definitely enjoyed being so close to restaurants and a subway station. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. A nice cozy home away from home. 😁

This was the best stay we have ever had. Bryan’s house was perfect. In terms of location, it is very convenient, super close to Gotanda Station for easy transport. There are many convenient stores, a Don Quijote, a pharmacy and local eateries nearby. We could easily get all we need from around the area. It is also quiet and peaceful, near a scenic river so it’s wonderful to rest up after a long day of exploring Tokyo. Bryan is a very great host. He’s friendly and super fast at replying to any of our questions. He also has amazing food recommendations. While staying there, we had a problem with using the stove and he showed up to help in 20 minutes. He also gives great instructions which were easy to follow so we had nothing to worry about at all. The house itself is good for a family and extremely clean. Bryan leaves all the necessary cooking and cleaning supplies and even offers complimentary drinks in the fridge at check-in. We loved this place and look forward to returning!

Very comfortable and stylish place with a good location. The host was very quick and helpful.

Excellent location to see all the sights in Tokyo. 5 minutes walk to the metro station that is well connected to all the major sights. Lots of convenience stores nearby. Kae is very responsive, helpful and friendly. She even gave us some extra utensils on request. We slept peacefully on most nights..on a couple of nights there was some noise (at 5am) from renovation work close by and the restaurant downstairs (including middle of the night delivery trucks). However, overall we had a great stay here and would recommend it.
