Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mindanao

The place was super clean and spacious - even with 12 of us staying there, it never felt cramped. We loved how the beach was just right outside the accommodation. There's even a cute little swing! The view was beautiful, and we got to catch the sunset too. Kaputian Beach Park is just a short walk away, and there are plenty of stores around- carinderias, convenience stores, and even BBQ stalls at night. There's also a market nearby if you're after fresh seafood. On our last day, we actually bought fish straight from the fishermen- it was caught at 3 AM that same day! Check-in and check-out were super smooth, thanks to the owner and caretaker being really responsive. We honestly loved everything about the place. If we ever visit Samal again, we're definitely booking here a second time.

Marina's place is the ideal location for people who want to step away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The nights are quiet except for the sound of the waves. we needed a break and this place gave us just what we needed. The caretakers are always ready to assist when you need them as they are only a text or call away and they live nearby. It's quite a steep climb though (stairs) so if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you.

Place is clean and easy to find. Host was very friendly and accommodating. However, if you're planning to work/need fast and stable Internet, there are times that the Internet couldn't handle video calls for work. Other than that, everything was smooth and perfect.

It was not too much to walk to use the convenience facilities near Alona. Above all, I was able to stay quietly and comfortably in a neatly managed private villa, and both the host and the staff responded kindly and quickly handled my requests. The width and depth of the pool were also satisfactory, so it was the best accommodation for families who enjoy swimming, and they always took care of the pool and garden early in the morning. I felt the host's meticulous attention to detail for travelers in the clean kitchen and everywhere.(Hangers, drying racks, bottled water, clean towels, amenities, etc.)

We love the hospitality of Mimi and how clean the house is. The room is tiny but complete with amenities. The place is also peaceful and serene. We just had a hard time traveling to and fro because of the heavy rain, few lights along the road, and constructions along the way. But all else considered, it’s a great place! 😊

Jeanne and her dad were the most welcoming hosts. We had a small accident before we arrived and they took such great care of us. The place itself is great, the view from the balcony is amazing!

We stayed as a group of 7 family members and absolutely loved our experience at this Airbnb. The house is new, clean, modern, and very stylish. The spacious kitchen and living room area made it easy for us to gather and spend quality time together, which is perfect when traveling as a group. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals, and the stable internet connection was a huge bonus for everyone. The beds are comfortable and the AC ensured we slept well every night. The location is ideal—just a few meters from the port for starting tours, and only a quick 10-minute scooter ride to restaurants, clubs, or Cloud 9 beach for surfing. Our host, Kuya Mark, was fantastic—always helpful, friendly, and quick to organize transport and scooters for us. He went above and beyond to assist with any request. Thank you so much, Kuya Mark, for making our family trip extra special!

The property is really special and unique and Andy & Juvi were more than welcoming and generous as hosts. We had the loveliest time and highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

We spent a perfect week in Panglao in the accommodation offered by Jeralyn. Close to the French Touch Diving center where we spent most of our days. The accommodation was very clean and the sheets changed regularly. It's a very nice place, away from the road.
