Holiday rentals with a patio in Mirror Lake

Had a great stay and would definitely stay again. Location was great, only a couple minutes from downtown. Lots of fun things to do within a short drive

One of the better air bnbs I’ve stayed at recently. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the amenities provided. Ryan was great at communicating and even did a check in with us to see if the stay was going well. Beautiful trail in walking distance from the place and had wonderful views of the local ponds. This was my first time visiting the Adirondacks and I would definitely consider this place for my next adventure there.

The location makes it easy to get out and about. We came to ski and snowshoe at The VIC, it was easy to get there. The apartment is just right for a home base. The water pressure in the shower is exceptional! Other reviews mentioned early morning noise, it's simply tiny feet walking about, and you have to really listen for them. I highly recommend Jon's Loj, and hopefully will be back again.

So comfortable. Excellent mattress in master bedroom. Clean and quiet. Kitchen was really well stocked. Very easy and enjoyable stay minutes from town and easy to get to. Thanks you! Rudy was very responsive which is always nice.

The apartment was clean and very accommodating. The bear accents throughout the apartment were super cute. You can tell Ray and Claire take a lot of care for their property.

Tom’s place was perfect for our family get away! His accommodation somehow looked even better than the photos and slept the 5 of us very comfortably. There are a bunch of higher tech features that aren’t even mentioned in the listing. And the views were FANTASTIC! The mountains to your left and the historic miracle on ice rink to your left. You are right in the middle of it all - but the space still felt like a calming oasis. Would certainly stay again.

Such a beautiful home and great location. So much lounge space and table space for big family dinners. Hot tub and firepit w/smores was such a great relaxing treat.

I was very happy with the location and how easy it was for me to bring my kids on the lake and learn to fish. Beautiful views and a pleasant place to stay.

John's Mountain Cabin is pleasant, comfortable, and located in a beautiful spot. Four of us stayed for four nights. We picked up groceries in Lake Placid on the way in and created wonderful meals in the roomy and well-appointed kitchen. We visited the covered bridge in Jay and made an excursion into Lake Placid for ice cream at Emma's and some window shopping. We also took John's advice and made our way to the Cobble Lookout on a gorgeous fall day. Other daily highlights include sitting on the porch, listening to and watching birds, which were very active in the early mornings. John's cabin was very comfortable for us, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it would be ideal for families as well. The one time we needed to contact John had to do with the internet service popping out. We called to get his advice on resetting the router/modem, which he did immediately, and in just a few minutes later, we were up and running again. The whole time was a delight.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb while in town for the Adirondack CrossFit Challenge competition. The location couldn’t have been better - just around the corner from the Olympic Center, where the event was held, and within easy walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and coffee spots in downtown Lake Placid. It made our weekend so much easier not having to worry about parking or driving. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sonja was friendly and responsive, and we’d definitely stay here again for future events. Highly recommend!

Great host with a beautiful home that was perfectly located

Amy & Bryon were wonderful hosts - I reached out well in advance letting them know we were traveling to the area to celebrate a birthday and inquired about early check-in. They were more than willing to be accommodating in every way. We arrived for check in and were greeted by Bryon and a chocolate cake with our names on it! YUM. The house is out of the way of the tourists, which is just what we wanted. It’s close enough to Lake Placid & Saranac that you can get in the car and go, and be where you needed in 20 minutes. The house was immaculate and filled with plenty of extras. We literally needed nothing. It was such a peaceful weekend and we are so thankful we were lucky enough to be hosted by them! If we are ever back in the area, we will be looking for Amy & Bryon’s availability. Thank you both so much!

Fantastic stay! Less than a 5 min walk from main street, hosts were so kind and welcoming.

Absolutely love staying in this condo with my family of seven people. Beautiful loft for the teenagers and two big private bedroom downstairs. The view was fantastic and you couldn’t ask for a better location. The Adirondack decor and huge stone fireplace or a huge plus. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location and property. It was well appointed, comfortable and had many cute ADK touches - moose culture :) The communication was easy and fast with the property manager. We would 100% stay again.

Wonderful place to stay for a trip to lake placid. Conveniently located to tons of restaurants. Hosts were very communicative.

This is a great spot if you can walk about 1/2 mile to town, maybe a little more if you want to walk the whole strip. The property was very spacious and comfortable. The electric heat was responsive and we were never cold in spite of the outside air temps and broken gas fireplaces (both). There were plenty of spices, oils, tin foil and kitchen items to cook with at the unit without having to transport your own kitchen with you for a weekend. That was very helpful. The rooms were large and plenty of closet space-you might end up spreading out too much and lose track of your things given there are 3 floors! Another review had commented that the unit was dated and that was true, old curtains and colors from the 80's or 90's, but it was clean and comfortable. My biggest beef is that check-out instructions should be included with description. You have to strip beds, start a load of laundry, take out trash, put away dishes, etc. What is the cleaning fee for? And they limit your TP!

Beautiful, well kept, and clean condo. Space was perfect for our group and just as described in the listing. Kitchen was bigger than I expected and everything in the kitchen was in excellent/new condition. The DR/LR space was plenty big for our crew, and it was really nice to have have four bedrooms, each with their own updated bathroom. We did use the sauna which was lovely and a lot bigger than I expected! I would definitely book this unit again when in Lake Placid.
