Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mission Bay

The house was beautiful and the beds were super comfy. We ran into a few minor issues, but the host was responsive, communicative, and quick to resolve everything. The highlight of the stay was definitely the backyard — we spent most of our time relaxing out there day and night. Great setup and entertainment. The host also accommodated us with a late checkout, which made our departure much more convenient. Highly recommend!

Lindsey was an amazing host and the place was just as amazing! very nice and cozy inside and it was in a perfect location about 15 minutes from downtown. every place we had planned for the trip was very close and the beach less than 4 minutes away was a nice plus! it was very clean we spilled water on the floor and when we wiped it up the paper towel came up still white! i would definitely stay here again :)

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

We had a great time here. Our little kids made great use of the wagon full of beach gear. The toiletries and snacks provided by the host were also a wonderful bonus. We love mission beach and this house was super convenient, well stocked and clean! We brought a larger SUV that didn't fit in the garage/driveway but street parking right in front of the house was no issue. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at the Mission Beach Villas! The house was beautiful and extremely equipped for children of all ages. Fabulous kitchen with incredible gas stove, smart refrigerator and more amenities than you will ever need. Both the inside and outside playrooms were furnished with lots of toys, activities and beach fun for kids. Plus a very nice and relaxing outside BBQ for the adults. The hosts were extremely kind, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Check in/check out very easy with clear communication throughout trip. One block from the water on Mission Bay with lots of walking and bike paths. Would highly recommend to any family wanting to vacation at Mission Bay in beautiful San Diego.

My stay here was exactly how I wanted it to be. The home was very clean and had a lot of necessities like cookware, silverware, shower products, and so much more! Everything was super neat and organized. The bed was extremely comfy. The host was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed, also made sure all our questions were answered. I am looking forward to staying here again when I return to San Diego. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about staying here. You definitely get your moneys worth.

This was a graduation trip for my daughter and her closest friends. This beautiful little place had EVERYTHING we needed to have fun in Crown Point: bikes, volleyball net, paddleboard, skateboard, boogie boards, a cooler to take down to the beach. I loved how organized the kitchen was and how it had EVERYTHING we needed: blender, toaster, every type of dish, pot, pan. Oh and the coffee station -- loved it! Tried some new types of K cups too. We also enjoyed the grill and the little firepit in the back. FInally, there was a very nice assortment of board and card games to play during dow- time, and a great TV to watch movies on with very comfortable seating all around. definitely made some wonderful memories. Thank you!

We had a great stay! We loved the house - the bed and couch were comfy, and the yard was so great! The house had thoughtful touches, and it's a super walkable location in PB. I would definitely stay again :) Communication was also very easy, we had a few questions and they got back to us right away which made everything really easy.

We had everything we needed. We appreciated having the kitchenette. Parking was easy. The space was just right for two of us and we were able to relax each day after sightseeing. I enjoyed reading one of the books Anna had stocked in the room. Anna was easy to get a hold of and gave us recs for sites and restaurants.

Comfortable place, great location. Kai was super helpful, accommodating, and responsive to questions. The bikes were a big plus. Would stay there again.

Plenty of space in this little apartment, and you can’t beat the location—Mission Beach is literally just a few feet from the front door. Big thanks to Daniel, who responded quickly when I had trouble with the lock (turned out to be user error on my part!). The apartment was clean, well-kept, and looked just like the photos. The location is a perfect 10/10. We really appreciated the extra touches—beach chairs and boogie boards were available for us to use, which we loved. There's also a hose on the side of the property, so rinsing off after the beach was super easy—we didn’t even need to walk down to the public showers by Belmont Park like we usually do. Overall, a great stay!

We had a great stay at this luxury studio in San Diego! This was our second time staying here. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean any time of day. Parking is conveniently located right outside the unit, and the space itself was very clean, private, and comfortable. It felt like a cozy little retreat. The only downside was that the AC wasn’t working during our stay. We were able to cool the room at night by opening the window, which helped a lot, but during the day it did get a bit warm. We didn’t want to keep the door open all day for privacy reasons. That said, everything else about the stay was excellent, and we’d definitely consider coming back—especially once the AC is fixed.

The place was as advertised. Check in was easy, the place was clean and it was a good value.

Joaquins place was so nice and as pictured. We felt so at home and had everything we needed for a nice stay! We really appreciated the hospitality and the bikes were a plus! The location is great and parking was easy. The bed was comfortable, everything was perfect. Some tips: the place was a little difficult for us to find (a user error Im sure) but we looked at the trash cans for the house number. To adjust the seat on the bikes there are tools attached to one of the pouches on one of the bikes. You won't be disappointed in this rental, would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s place in San Diego! The condo was clean, centrally located and very spacious. The gated garage was awesome, and we loved staying on an upper floor with great views. We arrived very late in the night, and Kim was kind enough to stay awake to meet us with the keys and codes. We had a great time staying there during the long weekend!

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. Nice apartment in good location and quiet neighborhood. Easy to park on the street. One bedroom is downstairs by the entrance. The other bedroom (and rest of the apartment) is upstairs.

Great location and Kara was very responsive very responsive to a situation on the property. If you’re not good with a lot of street noise, this might not be the place for you as it sits on a very busy street. Everything was clean and just asked pictures shown.

This place was absolutely amazing. Every detail and decoration was perfect, the views were surreal, located ideally in the middle of pacific beach. Able to walk to coffee every morning and enjoy ocean views from the comfort the living room. Host was very responsive and gave detailed instructions. Really couldn’t ask for anything more from an AirBnB!

This was a wonderful place to stay. My wife, my two children, and myself stayed here for three nights. Everything was a breeze, and we had everything that we needed. Mugs, glasses, plates, etc. were all provided. This is so conveniently located. You are within a three minute walk to Starbucks, a four minute walk to the beach, and a four minute walk to outstanding restaurants nearby. The area is safe, clean, and quiet. This place is ideal for a small family that is bringing only one car. If you bring more than one car, you have to park publicly on the side of the street, which is very inconvenient in my opinion. Geoff provided everything for us, including an extra twin size bed, sand toys for the beach, beach, chairs, and beach towels. We would love to stay with Jeff again.

My family and I loved this property, the location was looking out at the bay which made for a perfect view. The condo also was perfectly located near the boardwalk, cafes, and restaurants so we rarely had to drive anywhere. At night we enjoyed watching the fireworks from seaworld out on the porch, the evenings were quiet which was also nice since my parents are seniors. Tooraj was very communicative about property and to contact him if anything was needed but everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful family vacation I would absolutely stay here again.
