Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Modane

We just loved the design of the house, modern, clean and generous. The views from the house are spectacular. In every direction from the house are trails to take in the Alps. Some within walking distance, some a short drive away. We walked every trail we could find. In the spring, the meadows are carpets of flowers and the mountain views, lakes, very impressive. Some shops pre-season were closed, so you need to be careful with supplies, but loved the weekly market and eating goat from the local farmer!

We had a great stay at Émilie's chalet: a nice disconnection in a very beautiful setting. It was impeccable, as described and very functional. Lots of activities nearby, and several hiking departures. Aussois is a very pretty village with all the necessary shops. Émilie was responsive and very pleasant. Thank you. We will be back!

We had a great week with the family. The cottage is absolutely superb, very well equipped with beautiful decoration and completely matches the listing. The terrace is a real plus, good exposure with views of the slopes. The cottage is ideally located in the center of Valloire, close to the Setaz cable car, shops (bakery) and the ski school. Our little girl also really enjoyed the box of toys, nothing is missing... Being able to get a car into the garage is a plus. Only downside, hard to find other parking spaces available in season. Thanks to Matthieu and also to his dad for hosting us.

Very well-equipped chalet, you can find everything you need, nothing is missing, spacious chalet. Very quiet campsite during our stay. I recommend it without a problem. Very responsive and attentive host. Great.

The apartment is perfect. Plenty of space in the dining room to be quiet and with a kitchen ideal for cooking. You have beautiful views and we have been very comfortable. We were 6 and the space was ideal.

We could not have asked for a more amazing three weeks. The chalet is in an exceptional location on the hillside above Arc 1600. The views on all sides are breathtaking - sunsets and sunrises, Mont Blanc, the Tarentaise Valley. The morning birdsong is deafening. You're pretty undisturbed up there - the occasional skier passing or parapenter taking off or snow-shoer wandering by. The chalet itself is beautiful, well-furnished and well-equipped and the huge terrace has sun all day on sunny days. Laurent is an excellent host. It is accessible either by skidoo (on arrival with luggage); a chairlift then T-bar on skis (quite easy with groceries from a visit to the shop in 1600) or, if the drag isn't running, it's an easy 250m walk up from the chairlift. (The walk down to the village takes around fifteen minutes but longer in deep snow, the walk up from the village could be done by brisk walkers in twenty five minutes but it is uphill all the way).

This is a beautiful spacious apartment in a fantastic location. Just a short easy walk across the road to the gondola and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back, it would be hard to find a better place to stay.

very nice stay at Véronique and Frédéric's. These hosts are warm, available and discreet at the same time. The accommodation is particularly comfortable, well equipped, well heated. You can go there with your eyes closed.

I highly recommend this apartment which will provide you with comfort, amenities and a beautiful view. Cleanliness is impeccable. As for communication with the host, it's flawless.

A cosy appartment with a phenomenal view, very well located in Arcs 1600 with direct access to ski slopes. Nice terrass too. Good parking place as well where the car is parked safe and shielded. Excellent communication and clear instructions on how to get there.

Two friends on a big weekend. Great stay. This accommodation would have suited us well also for four for one or two nights. No luxury but everything you need (especially all household products; appreciable for us who should have been on a motorcycle). I'll be back there no problem

We had a pleasant stay. There was everything you needed on site and around (ski slope 50m away). Anne had also provided us with a cot and a high chair, very convenient so as not to clutter up for the trip. Anne is very responsive and has answered any questions we may have had. The only downside to the location is that there are few activities for non-skiers in the off-season.

Perfect stay in this newly built chalet. We didn't miss a thing. Idyllic setting in the heart of the Chartreuse park, we would gladly come back.

A very cozy little wooden cottage on a very quiet campsite in a small village below Sestriere. Beautiful view over the rooftops of the neighboring houses in the mountains. The kitchen has everything you need. The public laundry room is great and only a few steps to walk, warm, clean and has a great shower. The host was super friendly and helped me a lot when I missed the bus. Thank you for this! I went to Sestriere every day on a beautiful way off the ski slope. Overall, everything was as I imagined it and how it was read on the listing. I'd come back.

Nice, quiet place. Super views. Well cleaned. Rapid response from Alberto. Good double bed. Childrens mattresses very soft/hanging for adults. 105 stairs to climb to get to appartment. The fireplace cannot be used. Shower needs upgrading (partly mouldy). Need a car to get to the slopes, or walk upwards. A skibox can be hired up in the town.

Unusual night in this cabin in the Valfrejus resort, very nice place, comfortable accommodation and the amenities reserved for the 2 cabins are very clean. The spa is very cool, very nice after a day of skiing. The little extra: take the dinner option at the cottages, friendly moment and meal by the fire, local and quality products. I recommend this listing!!

Beautiful and cozy chalet on the ski slopes, a few meters from the chairlift and conveniently connected to all the ski resorts of the Vialattea, magnificent views of the Alps. The snowmobile transport has given the touch of exclusivity and is itself an experience in the mountains, all perfectly organized. We thank the hosts for making such a beautiful place available, we will be back next year!

We rented the cottage for a short 4 day ski vacation (2 adults + 2 teenagers). The cottage is exactly as you can see on the pictures. Nice and cosy. It was perfect for the occasion not far from Cesana and very close to the ski areas. We chose to drive up to the parking below the Ski Lodge chairlift to access Vialattea - it is literally 2 a mins drive and the parking was deserted. 1 day we parked in Cesana to access Monti Della Luna and Montgenevre - we arrived at 08:50 and the parking was totally empty. No queues at the ski pass booth and chairlift. Perfect. To load and unload our ski equipment we parked briefly in the street above the cottage which was easy. I would rent Erminas cottage again should we come back for some skiing in the Vialattea.

Nicole is a great host. The house is very homely and a great location within the village. We loved our stay and would definitely return.
