Holiday rentals in Modi

Myself and my partner had a wonderful stay at Estia Stonehouse. There are nearby tracks/paths to hike on and see some beautiful places. Stelios was a great host who provided everything you'd need for a self catering holiday. The apartment was immaculate. The apartment was surprisingly large! The upstairs bed has a very low ceiling and small stairs, so be aware of this, but the bed itself was very comfortable when you got up there. You do require a car to stay at this apartment and the parking space is not very big, but the main town and beach is only a 10 minute drive away. The village of Modi is quiet and pretty with a delightful and reasonably priced Tavern that you can walk to for dinner. Overall we would absolutely recommend Stelios's Estia Stonehouse as a place to stay in Crete 😊.

The villa was clean, spacious and beautiful. It was perfect for our group of five adults and three kids. The villa located in a peaceful area and still it was near to shops and restaurants and the beach. However, we recommend to rent a car. The view from the villa was breathtaking. Also the pool area in the villa was great and we spend a lot of time swimming and enjoying the lovely terrace area. The host was very friendly and helpful and we got many good advice of places to visit and see. We warmly recommend this villa for everyone and we would be more than happy to return to this villa on our next visit to Crete.

Beautiful, peaceful villa but not far from the main road to access amenities, local restaurants and Chania. Spotlessly clean. Good quality bedding and towels with super comfy beds. Friendly support and communication from the company. We appreciated the home grown oranges and olive oil which were delicious! We were also grateful for the early check-in. Nice pool and bbq/rooftop terrace had lovely views. WiFi was great as was access to a good quality washing machine and separate drier. Would definitely recommend.

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

This place was perfect! It looks way better than the pictures - very homely. Stacey and Konstantinos are amazing & lovely hosts and made us feel at home instantly. Everything about the apartment was tastefully done and it had everything we needed. It's a very peaceful neighborhood, away from the tourist bustle. With a car, there are plenty of things to do, including a fun buggy ride that took us to a secluded beach with pristine turquoise waters. They had great recommendations for food, places to visit, which we were very happy with. We could've easily spent 2 weeks more here.

Very comfortable place, the common area of kitchen and dining + living room is bigger than what the pictures “show” The view of the mountains and see from the terrace upstairs is a great plus. Thoughtfully designed to have shade in the morning to enjoy the space. Great hospitality too with small details left in place to welcome us. Thank you!

Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful scenes. Friendly hosts and flexible check in and out timings. They provided essentials for our first day, nice home made cake and a bottle of extra virgin olive oil. Prompt response to our requests. The villa is really amazing and made our holiday this summer one of our best ever holidays. Will come back soon.

An absolute dream - it doesn't get any better! 🌿🌞 The stay was just memorable. The accommodation is a small paradise – lovingly designed, super clean and equipped with everything you need. The tree house itself is not only beautiful and cozy, but also offers a fantastic view due to its elevated location. The pool is perfect for a refreshment and the entire grounds are laid out with so much attention to detail that you immediately feel comfortable. A special highlight was the host Iasonas – what a great person! He was incredibly friendly, warm and helpful from start to finish. You can immediately see how much passion he puts into the tree house. The check-in was super easy and relaxed, we immediately felt welcome. All the other people we met there were also incredibly nice and open - a really nice, family atmosphere. We will definitely come back❤️
