Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Molenlanden

Wat een heerlijke tijd hebben we gehad in dit mooie en rustige huis. Fantastische landelijke omgeving en het huis staat in een appelboomgaard. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en de wifi is uitmuntend. We zijn hier vanwege een verbouwing 4 weken gebleven. Marc en Maria zijn gezellige, vriendelijke, rustige en geïnteresseerde mensen. We hielden regelmatig een praatje en als er iets was stonden ze meteen klaar. Ze hebben ook een leuke hond Beer die ons altijd enthousiast begroette maar niet blafte. Je bent op loopafstand van het gezellige dorpje Schoonhoven met veel barretjes en restaurantjes. Verder ben je makkelijk met de bus in zowel Rotterdam als Utrecht Kortom een heerlijke plek om een tijd te zijn.

Great location, loved hearing cows mooing as they left the cattle shed in the morning to graze. Great location to explore the area. Clean, peaceful and had everything you could need.

Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars. Alles vlot verlopen, rondleiding bij de koeien gekregen en een leuke rustige omgeving. Eigenaars wonen ernaast, maar merk je niets van. Aanrader!

We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad in dit prachtige huisje. Regina heette ons persoonlijk welkom en zei ons gedag bij vertrek, er stonden lekkernijen voor ons klaar, alles was brandschoon en ontzettend sfeervol ingericht. Een dikke 10 voor deze locatie én voor deze lieve en hartelijke eigenaresse!

Very professional and helpful hosts. Very proactive in terms of understanding our possible needs, very quick response on the chat. Me and my family a had a very good time and experienced the local culture which were memorable.

What an interesting place to stay - very historic and clearly much loved by the family who own it. It is full of antiques, curiosities and paintings. We were bike touring so particularly appreciated the lovely hot shower and the sauna.

Karel est un hôte remarquable. Attentionné, très disponible et discret; il nous a gentiment préparé son bateau sans que nous l’ayons prévenu très tôt pour ça et s’est renseigné pour nous permettre de regarder un match de foot (une demande spéciale de l’un d’entre nous). Concernant la maison, elle est incroyablement grande, extrêmement bien équipée, joliment aménagée et dispose de très beaux extérieurs donnant sur la rivière. Je recommande vivement de passer un séjour chez Karel et j’espère moi-même y retourner!

It was my very first time at a country side home, and it was amazing, especially Cornelia's hospitality and friendliness. A bit difficult to commute by public transport, but you can take a cab from the nearest station.

The location was perfect for us and accommodations clean, quiet and private. Beautiful town! Hope to return someday!

Dieser Ort ist zauberhaft! Wir haben die Tage in dem so hübsch eingerichteten Dachgeschoss und den Tieren im Garten rundum genossen. Unsere Tochter (knapp 2 Jahre alt) hat das Spielen im Garten und das Tiere streicheln so geliebt. Wir haben uns wie in Bullerbü gefühlt! Mirjam stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, hat jeden Tag ein frisches, super leckeres Frühstück für uns vorbereitet und uns Fahrräder geliehen. :-) Ganz große Empfehlung!!

We had a great stay in a very nice apartment, well located in the center of Dordrecht, Esther and Andreas are great hosts, friendly, attentive and responsive.

Oskar is a great host. He was ready to meet us as soon as we arrived and went through everything we needed to know. Apartment was filled with everything we could possibly need for our stay and was immaculate. Location is great, just a 5 min walk from Centraal station. Would highly recommend.

Logement bien équipé nous avions tout le nécessaire. Des vélos sont mis à la disposition des voyageurs et cela est un vrai plus pour visiter Rotterdam. Excellent séjour. Merci

Appartement midden in het centrum, in een winkelstraat met ateliers, antiek en speciaalwinkeltjes zonder grote winkelketens. Op loopafstand van drukbevaren kruising van Oude Maas, De Noord en Beneden Merwede (terrasjes)!

Had a lovely stay at Maarten’s place. Very close to the tram line, many stores and restaurants near by. Check-in was super easy. Maarten was very kind and responsive. Apartment was very spacious and extremely quiet. The only thing to be aware of is the steep stairs - it’s just one floor but be careful when bringing up heavy bags. Great experience!

Wonderful hosts, super responsive and so friendly! The place itself is at an amazing spot, everything is in walking distance, from groceries to drinks to the station. Clean and tidy apartment by amazing hosts for a really fair price.

A very comfortable stay in a mix of historic and modern surroundings. A lot of steps but not unexpected. Close to amenities. Host responded quickly to inquiries. Overall, a lovely stay!

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

The apartment worked very well for three of us for a 9-night stay. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, champagne, and chocolate! The hosts were gracious, proactive, and helpful when we had questions or needs. The space is clean, well-lit, and modern, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. Our daughter declared the sleep sofa the most comfortable she's ever slept on! The entry stairs are steep, but with the sturdy railing and good lighting we felt quite safe on them. The neighborhood has gems for dining and shopping, and you can walk to the City center. A laundromat that takes credit/debit cards is 4 blocks away. Tram stops are close, and they run on a frequent schedule. Parking is limited, so renting a bike is ideal. The bike lanes and traffic signals make it safe and easy to ride throughout the city. Venturing farther is possible by renting an electric car by the hour through the MyWheels app. Their cars are conveniently parked at charging stations around the neighborhood.

Communicative and helpful hosts. The house has 3 rooms. 2 with double bedrooms and 1 with a couch sofa-bed.

Eine schöne helle Wohnung und nachts wunderbar ruhig. Besonders toll waren die kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrräder. Richard war freundlich und hat schnell reagiert. Ein wenig unbequem ist das WC, das separiert ist, aber sehr eng, sodass große Menschen nicht bequem sitzen können.

Schöne gemütliche Unterkunft, die alles hat was man braucht (genügend Handtücher, Teeauswahl, Espresso etc., auch zusätzliche Decken falls es kalt sein sollte haben wir entdeckt) Ich dachte am Anfang, dass es etwas umständlich/lang braucht bis ins Rotterdamer Zentrum, aber ich war sehr positiv überrascht. Der Fußweg zur Tram-Stelle 8-10 Minuten und von dort aus dann direkt in 15-20 Minuten ins Zentrum. Parkplätze waren auch immer genügend vorhanden und in Schiedam sind diese ja glücklicherweise kostenlos. Hatten das Gefühl, dass wir in einer sicheren Umgebung sind. Super war die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern, super gut und schnell erreichbar, immer hilfsbereit bei Fragen oder für Tipps und sehr nette Menschen. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder wählen.

Fantastic apartment in an amazing location. Within walking distance of many local restaurants. Brilliant for cycling around the city or walking, we did both. We really enjoyed our time in Sanne’s apartment, we would recommend and will look to return again in the future.
