This was such a lovely stay! The location and environment was tranquil. The place was cozy and well set-up. I will say the couch and bed were extremely comfortable, I need the same furniture at my home. I was able to cook some meals, everything you need to cook was available (great skillets!). It was a delight to look over the process of the renovation of the manor - to see the work that went in to it was nice. This was a nice retreat for me from the fast life, and this loft was the right stay for that. I highly recommend Vineyard Loft @ Black Locust Manor for a simple, tranquil, and cozy stay.

My friends and family (and dogs!) stayed here memorial day weekend, and the time we spent at Shannon's home was delightful. This is the most dog-friendly place I have every stayed in, and Shannon - who is clearly a dog lover - has created a perfect place to bring your four-legged friends to, with the most dog-friendly amenities you could ask for. The house was as described, and set in some lovely environs that I wish I could have spent more time in. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well-stocked and wide open, which gave our pets some lovely space to move about and play in. On top of all of that, Shannon was incredibly communicative before and during our stay, and the responsiveness was appreciated. all and all, a perfect picturesque stay for pups and all.

Heather was an extremely kind and responsive host, making sure we felt right at home during our stay to care for my mother after major surgery. Heather truly thought of everything in this adorable apartment above the garage of their breath taking home. The little town of Amherst was quaint and walkable with a delicious market only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Everything we needed was available in the apartment, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash and lotion, q tips, and much much more! The bed was very comfortable, and the AC kept the space very cool during a record-breaking heat wave in NH. This little space was perfect for our stay. I heartily recommend this space to anyone hoping for a sweet stay in a small, New England town, also close to so many great amenities!

I felt so lucky to be able to book my stay at this incredible place. It felt like a home away from home, with every detail. (There was a cute little message welcoming us! As waters and some snacks, and the check in was so easy!) The loft is absolutely breathtaking beautiful (exactly or better than the photos), clean, so complete. Even if it was cold outside, it felt so cozy and warm. The bed so comfy! The bathroom kept the temperature warm after a hot shower. The kitchen has everything you could need (and we cooked). The lighting was perfect—plenty of natural light. The ceiling windows let us look at the stars at night in the sky. The location was so perfect to escape from the city noise (exactly what we were looking for), and at the same time you can find anything you need just minutes away! Astrid recommended us different places according to what we were looking for and we went to all of them! We also got some local honey they sell, and plus the hosts were so nice! We’ll be back!
