Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Monte Mario

Heerlijke Airbnb op loopafstand van het Vaticaan. Goed bed, fantastische badkamer, goed werkende airco en gezellige (afgesloten) buitenplaats. Bus en metro om de hoek waarmee je binnen 15 minuten op alle hotspots van Rome bent. Kortom perfecte uitvalsbasis voor onze midweek Rome.

Clean place, perfect for two people. Antonio gave us some great recommendations for food, drinks, and even dessert, he even provided us with the information on which public transportation to take. Only slight inconvenience was that the locks on the doors are a bit old and got were difficult to unlock but he did help us out with that as well.

We appreciated how helpful and supportive Stella was with us. It was a nice stay close to the Vatican and good restaurants. In addition, close to the metro station which was very helpful since we wanted to go sightseeing around and metro was the easiest way to go anywhere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Ubytování bylo nejen krásně zařízené, ale také velmi čisté a útulné. Nacházelo se v klidné lokalitě, což byl skvělý kontrast k rušnému městskému životu. Angelo je skvělý hostitel – byl vždy k dispozici, když jsem měla nějaké dotazy nebo potřebovala poradit. Rád mi doporučil místní restaurace a zajímavosti v okolí, což velmi obohatilo můj pobyt. Jeho ochota a přátelský přístup mě opravdu potěšily. Další výhodou byla skvělá vybavenost ubytování – od plně vybavené kuchyně, ve které jsem si mohla připravit snídani, až po pohodlnou postel, kde jsem se vyspala jako nikdy předtím. Děkuji za skvělý pobyt. Určitě se při návštěvě Říma opět ráda vrátím.

Non abbiamo mai avuto un servizio come quello offerto da Cristiana e Pietro. Sono due persone squisite, aperte al dialogo e si fanno in 8 per soddisfare ogni tua richiesta (soprattutto ti aiutano con qualsiasi mezzo a loro disposizione) Considerato il periodo in cui siamo venuti a Roma (pieno di eventi, quindi con traffico intenso, problemi di parcheggio ecc), non potevamo trovare host migliore 😄

Massimiliano and his father Maurizio are, above all, wonderful people—welcoming and pleasant. They are always available to help in any situation. They provided us with excellent instructions on what to do and where to go. If we revisit Rome, we will definitely stay with them again. I highly recommend them to all future guests. 😍🤩

This place is situated a little far from Rome central but has very reasonable bus/tram connections so getting there isn’t too difficult. The apartment was clean and well described. A comfy bed with an AC unit nearby which is needed as it does get quite hot at night. Our hosts, although we didn’t meet them until the end, were so helpful, communicative and generous. We are not wine drinkers but a bottle was left for us with a note. This would be a nice touch for those after a long day of travelling. Overall a very good experience

Close to everything in Trastevere and within walking distance of all the major sights. It felt like home and it was so comfortable. Look no further for an incredible stay!!

This lovely 1 BR apartment is in a fabulous, quiet location about 5-10 minutes away from the Vatican and Coliseum. The neighborhood has plenty of lunch cafes, restaurants and gelato stops! The main Metro train is also only a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. If you prefer to not be in the hustle and bustle of the tourist traffic, then this is a perfect place to be. This was my first trip to Rome and I walked everywhere and was happy to do so. I think the only small issue this apartment may present - is the bathroom space is a tight fit - and could be problematic if you are tall and require a good amount of space. I would highly recommend Francesca’s apartment and she was also a very nice and accessible host! Thank you!! Christine

So happy we chose to stay here. Just from the towels left for us on the bed including the slippers and the level of cleanliness of the place I know we made the right choice. All the comfort of home but with the luxuries of a hotel. Great location in Rome! Walkable in 5 minutes to the Vatican!

Where to even start. If I could give 10 stars I would because they deserve every one. Our second day in Rome we lost our passports, wallet, and a phone in a taxi. Sonia’s mother helped us file a police report, track down the taxi driver, and retrieve our passports the next day all while translating and navigating for us. We were SO grateful for her and Sonia! The place was also very nice and looked just like the pictures. It was very clean, there was AC in the bedroom, and close to the bus to get into Rome. This was our first time in a foreign country and we could not have chosen a better location to stay. I would recommend Sonia’s house every day of the week!

Mascia was a wonderful host! She met me a the unit when I checked in to show me around the unit and answer any questions. She was prompt to answer any questions via chat, and allowed my friend and I a late check-out time so that we could store our luggage at the apartment on our last day of sight-seeing. I highly recommend this adorable unit for your next stay in Rome! Thank you, Mascia, for making us feel right at home.

We stayed a couple of days at the end of our trip to Italy. The property is clean and the garden area ia very nice The Vatican museums and at Peter’s are walking distance. We enjoyed our time even if it was short.

Friends of mine who had stayed in Rome before recommended finding a place on the west side of the Tiber River. It’s still the city center, but a bit removed from the tourist noise and crowds. This apartment turned out to be a perfect fit for us. The area is truly quiet and peaceful, just a few minutes walk to the metro that can take you anywhere, and about 10-15 minutes on foot to the Vatican. Giorgio is a kind and responsive host, and the apartment has everything you might need. Our 10-day stay was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful , bright and airy apartment, located in a calm and wonderful neighborhood just 5 minutes from the Vatican. I would absolutely recommend it to every couple visiting Rome. And surely it would be my first choice when visiting again.

Excellent location after long travels from US. Luca was exceptionally communicative and responsive even with us arriving very late from the airport. Loved the convenience of the bus and location of apartment. We were family of 4 with a senior grandparent and we all felt very comfortable. Beds were great, sheets soft and cozy and AC was cold. We really were only in unit for bed time. We will definitely look for staying at Lucas apartment next time in Rome.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment is in a perfect location – many sights, lovely cafés, and great restaurants are all within walking distance. The place itself is spotless, beautifully furnished, and very well equipped – we didn’t miss a thing. Italia’s place was perfect!!! She sent a link to video directions on checking in which made the entire process easy. Once inside the apartment there was everything you could need. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms made traveling with a group of 3 very comfortable. There was a great coffee shop across the street and we could walk to Vatican City, a metro station and a taxi stand which made seeing the sights of Rome so easy!!! Italia, herself, was truly a super host. She replied to any questions within minutes and even helped us arrange transportation from her place to the cruise port. We were there from Monday to Friday but would have loved to stay longer. All and all an excellent ecperience!!

Beautiful, modern and spotlessly clean apartment close to the Vatican, walkable in 10 mins and plenty of local buses. Daniela gave us a host of recommendations- we tried 3 of them and 100% agree they’re great places to eat - Mae for breakfast, Conviviale for dinner, both just across the road, and Mimi & Coco, hip and happening near Piazza Navone. So comfortable- we’d love to have stayed longer.

My family and I had a great stay! The apartment was clean, comfy, and felt like home. It was spacious and well-equipped, so everyone had their own spot to relax. The beds were super comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
