Holiday rentals with beach access in Montecito

The library suite at The Marlowe is a great place for exploring Santa Barbara. The host was responsive, there was plenty of parking on the Monday and Tuesday we were there, it is two minutes away walking from state street, and the train station is viewable from the apartment. That was the only issue with location, the trains can be loud and make it difficult to sleep in. Other than that everything about the library suite was great. Plenty of amenities and even more charm. My favorite part of the suite was the balcony with the view of the mountains on one side and the beach on the other.

Spacious, clean lodgings on the first floor of an older home with very quiet renters upstairs. It worked great for our two-week stay in Ventura.

The inside was newly remodeled; nice and clean. It’s a .5 mile walk to East Beach.

Great spot right next to the beach. We watched the sunset on the beach, took bike rides to the pier and spent countless hours in the jacuzzi. Check in was seamless and the garage was an added bonus. Keep in mind that it's a tight squeeze and an SUV will probably not fit in there. The host was very responsive and took care of an initial issue with the hot tub. It was one of the main reasons we booked it and we were glad he responded quickly.

This was a great spot for a few nights in Santa Barbara and Jim is an absolutely fantastic host! Location is perfect. Easy, short walk to the beach and all SB has to offer. The space itself is comfortable and pretty straightforward. Has the basic amenities for a weekend trip. Jim helped us coordinate an early check-in, assisted with an extra night stay and allowed us to leave our bags for an extra hour after check-out - all of which were greatly appreciated!

The loft is exactly as described and surrounded by so many charming places to eat, shop, and relax. Paul has created an efficient and lovely loft. Oliver is super responsive, and all the instructions were very clear. It's near the freeway, so you can pop over to Santa Barbara or Carpinteria in 10 minutes. There is a bit of freeway noise, so earplugs might be helpful for light sleepers. But at night, it's a mix of ocean waves and light freeway hum, so it served as white noise for me to sleep really well on the comfy bed. A great location with great hosts!

The place was exactly as advertised. It is an adventure and a wonderful way to experience the Santa Barbara coast. We loved finding our way in and the instructions were great. Clean and quaint with an amazing view. We found everything we needed and the local recommendations were excellent.

Cathy’s place is a gem! Beautiful and in a peaceful location. We were able to walk everywhere. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Santa Barbara.

Such a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place to stay. We had a lovely breakfast on the patio followed with enjoying the swings, zip line and hammocks out on the grassy area.

Raymond was the best host I ever had. He was so accommodating with our early check in and offered a late check out which was so kind. Raymond was so responsible to all my questions and requests. Raymond’s house is located at a great location. We can walk to the beach, walk to the restaurants and markets and his house is also located close to the downtown and the train station. My friends and I loved staying at Raymond’s. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and we loved the neighborhood. We would love to come back.

good spot in great location. really nice backyard in a quiet neighborhood. walking distance to chase park and quick drive to everything else. if you have a little one that uses high chair place does not have one, and kitchen table isn't good for table chair set up, although outdoor table works well with it. everything else is great and would def stay there again.

This 'Garden House' really is just that! The grounds are beautiful and the house is so welcoming. So many places to gather and/or lounge! The kitchen is large, well-equipped and was perfect for family meals. Beds are comfy and bathrooms clean and spacious. The outside entrance for the studio bedroom was different, and though we didn't use the kitchenette, I could see that it had everything needed to be a standalone unit. The casita is down a small hill, next to the fire pit. Although it doesn't have its own bath, it is a cozy and quiet bedroom, probably best for someone who doesn't need bathroom trips at night! We were a group of senior citizen siblings and loved the chance to walk the nearby nature preserve, though not everyone made it down the neighborhood's steps to the beach, lol. FYI, Google maps didn't quite take us far enough on the street - be sure to look for the house number.

Everything from check in to check out was very easy. The house was very clean with sufficient amenities. The location is quiet but with several restaurants and a great coffee shop within close walking distance.

Amazing spot!! The outside space was perfect. A new plaza has opened across the street and brought the most lovely energy to the street. Such a walkable area. Amber and her team truly thought of everything when putting this Airbnb together. We felt very taken care of and loved this charming spot!

Chris and Lisa were amazing hosts. They have a perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend with a partner and feel completely comfortable!

Great location, easy access to beaches, downtown. Comfy king sized bed. Take advantage of the fresh eggs, they were delicious. The unit is an extension of a family home but has a private entrance and feels separate. Hot tub, garden and sauna are part of a shared space with the host

We had a perfect romantic weekend in Santa Barbara, and this place made it truly special. The space was beautifully decorated with great style—spacious, full of natural light, cozy, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, from thoughtful amenities to a warm, inviting atmosphere. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to East Beach, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Our host, Jane, was fantastic—responsive, kind, and full of helpful suggestions for local restaurants. She made everything easy from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Location on the Mesa was perfect! Walking distance to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Very quiet, comfortable beds and the hot tub and private back yard were a bonus. Thank you, we would definitely return if we are in SB again!

My wife and I spent a weekend at Eileen’s and all I can say is, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had on AirBnB. Eileen was super helpful and responsive, sent clear instructions, the place was exactly what we were hoping it would be, and Carpinteria is a beautiful town, wonderful people. We cannot recommend Eileen’s place strongly enough!

Our stay at Laura’s casita was wonderful! We arrived early and Lara graciously allowed us to check in early and even met us with her fresh baked sour dough bread, which was amazing! The casita is beautifully decorated and so clean. It is minutes away from the beach and the downtown area. It really was ideal!

Once again the unit was great clean organized and Michael was very attentive to our needs another great time we will be back

This is perfect for a couple or a family with 2 small children. The kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook but restaurants are within walking distance. The beach is a block away, as well as a grassy park. Would definitely stay here again!

Great host, great location, fun stay. Highly recommended. Jumped on the surfliner Amtrak and took our kids to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Hung out on the beach just down the road from the apartment. Awesome time!

Comfortable place in a great location. It is in a nice neighborhood a few blocks from the beach, but also only about a 30 minute walk to the far end of the downtown area. I was able to walk to so many activities. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of extras (like herbs, condiments, foil, plastic baggies, or that sort of thing), but has basic utensils and equipment. It was pretty quiet for the most part and it was fairly easy to find parking as long as I followed the few restrictions. One of the nicest perks was being able to hear the southing fountain outside (because the windows were open). It was a nice sound to sleep with. Instructions were clear for the most part, but I needed a little clarification on the lock box. It was nice to have a contact person on site that could quickly talk me through it over the phone.
