Holiday rentals with beach access in Santa Barbara County

Our five-month stay at this property was truly exceptional. Kerri and her team welcomed us and our pets with such warmth, making us feel like part of their family. The property is stunningly stylish and perfectly situated along Ventura’s vibrant Main Street. Whether you’re planning an extended stay or a weekend getaway, this home is an ideal choice. Our pets may have loved it even more than we did! We’re incredibly grateful to Kerri for her gracious hospitality, especially toward our furry companions. 10/10, highly recommend!

The house and the location were perfect! When we come back to Ventura this is where we’ll stay again. Everything was clean and our kids were happy with the games provided outside. This house made our vacation!

The best thing about this condo is its location. It is steps away from the beach and close to State Street. The second best thing is that it is very roomy. We had a family of four, but you could easily sleep 6-8 people in here, not that you should. The street that it is on is quiet and private, which is surprising given its location, and James is a superb host. Parking was never an issue as well. I will point out that as others have mentioned, the top floor can be a bit warm. We stayed in June and it was fine with great weather, but I can see it being unpleasant in a heat wave. The skylight does provide some ventilation, which others have not noticed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

The loft is exactly as described and surrounded by so many charming places to eat, shop, and relax. Paul has created an efficient and lovely loft. Oliver is super responsive, and all the instructions were very clear. It's near the freeway, so you can pop over to Santa Barbara or Carpinteria in 10 minutes. There is a bit of freeway noise, so earplugs might be helpful for light sleepers. But at night, it's a mix of ocean waves and light freeway hum, so it served as white noise for me to sleep really well on the comfy bed. A great location with great hosts!

Enjoyed the beautiful villa in Summerland. Was easy access to area highlights. Super clean and well described. Would come back again!

My friends and I booked this stay for our weekend girls trip. It was everything we were looking for! Great location if you don’t mind noise late into the night and early morning—which we didn’t. The host was very quick to respond to our questions as well. This stay will be truly one to remember in our books!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was super responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. The space was absolutely adorable—clean, cozy, and full of charm. We especially loved the walkable neighborhood; it was so nice to explore the area on foot. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again—maybe even try one of the other rentals in the same house next time!

We had a wonderful stay at The Marlowe! This was our first time in Santa Barbara and this was the best location— we seriously lucked out picking this first try. Steps away from the min street, only blocks from the ocean, and right across from a gorgeous old train station. The hosts were incredibly responsive and the place was so charming. Despite seeing the other units occupied I never heard anyone. Parking was extremely easy and there were plenty of spots right outside. Place stayed cool with just windows open and the fan on. Will be back for sure!

Diana was an amazing host. She had great communication with me throughout the trip and was very resourceful too. Her place had a lovely view of the ocean and I really enjoyed waking up to that view. Quiet neighborhood and her home was within walking distance to some restaurants. Diana was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend booking with Diana if you’re looking to stay in or near summerland. Beautiful views and affordable.

We loved the house and would be perfect for two couples or just one like us. It is an easy house to live in with everything you need as the kitchen is equipped with serving dishes and cookware. The hot tub was clean and 104 when we arrived.

Everything from check in to check out was very easy. The house was very clean with sufficient amenities. The location is quiet but with several restaurants and a great coffee shop within close walking distance.

Very cute place in Oceano which was conveniently located near SLO and Pismo Beach. Violeta is a responsive host who made check-in super clear. And we loved being greeted with awesome snacks and I always very much appreciate well stocked coffee! It was perfect for our family of three. But what made it special was the s’mores fixings to accompany the fire pit on the back porch! Very nice touch.

Beautiful and rustic home with amazing view of the ocean. Cozy living room and kitchen. Kitchen has basic stuff for you to cook a meal. Front porch has a grill so we were able to grill up some steaks for dinner. Backyard seems a little over-grown with plants but it didnt bother us. Overall, the location was worth it for the view. Rebecca was an amazing host, very responsive and accomodating! Great place to stay for a weekend trip to Santa Barbara! Minor observation: Around 9pm during the night of our stay, we heard a "thud" sound in the front porch area. We opened the door to see what it was. At that exact moment, we saw a water bottle flying over from the right side of porch - landing in the front porch area. Not sure who threw it or maybe if it fell from the roof. It was dark so we couldn't see well. No big deal - just found it a little weird. Could be the neighbors next door? We mentioned this to Rebecca on the day of check out just as an FYI and she will look into this more.

We came to the Santa Barbara area for my son's college graduation from UCSB. It was so fun to cook, eat, relax, and play together at this house. The decor was delightful. Everything inside was thoughtfully provided. We used the wagon to lug chairs, umbrellas, and toys to the beach. It was a pleasant 10 minute walk. We loved the ice cream shop 2 doors down. The wrap around deck was great for hanging out and reading, chatting or watching others play corn hole or bocce ball.

This unit is on the side of a gorgeous 100+ year old Victorian home. The garden is full of places to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful garden. The unit has a small kitchen which has everything we needed for our 2-night stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the bedside lamps which provided plug ins for our chargers. The bathroom and bedroom were spacious. Easy to understand instructions were found throughout.

perfect location in Montecito! Very short walk to both the village and butterfly beach. The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious, and the backyard is so serene! The 101 is not at all too loud- it’s like gentle ambient noise- our newborn baby slept very comfortably and easily here! 😁 our family would absolutely return again! thanks Sara for sharing your beautiful space!

Pleasure staying here while in SB, it was like being at home, could easily stay here for weeks on end. Honestly probably the best kitted-out Airbnb we've ever stayed at; kitchen had everything you need, including a full spice cupboard, filtered water dispenser. Biggest clothes washing machine and dryer I've ever seen in a home! Very short walk to East Beach, and a very good quality fresh foods supermarket (which also has a delicious Mexican food truck out the front every night!). Jane is very friendly, helpful and responsive, everything was a breeze.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean, cozy and fully stocked. We spent lots of time on the porch enjoying the view and watching all the happenings on the beach, talking to neighbors and the staff at Slappy’s next door and our evening campfires. We will definitely be staying here again! There are 2 parking spots in the garage ideal for smaller cars or SUVs and a lot across the street that charges $20 a day where we parked our Tundra.

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Eileen’s place is an absolute dream. Beautiful condo that is bright, clean, and comfortable. Steps away from a gorgeous beach and picturesque town! Eileen was super communicative and provided clear instructions. I’d love to visit again!

David told me about their new black couch and it’s super nice and comfy right in front of the fireplace and TV. Everything is just like the photos and the amenities were very thoughtful from Hand soaps to bath soaps. I’d love to come back to this place again when planning to visit the beach with my significant other

Amanda’s place made it super easy to get everything I wanted out of this amazing town! Truly just 1 minute from the beach, walkable to the cute DT, parking spots were easy to find, and very peaceful little patio. Thank you for a great stay!

Great host, great location, fun stay. Highly recommended. Jumped on the surfliner Amtrak and took our kids to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Hung out on the beach just down the road from the apartment. Awesome time!
