Located 2 km from the village of Montlouis-sur-Loire, on the Loire bike path, the "Joly gîte" was completely restored in 2021. It will be the perfect base from which to discover Touraine, the Loire, its castles, and its vineyards. You will be 20 minutes from the historic center of Tours, 10 minutes from Amboise and 45 minutes from Beauval Zoo. The 125 m2 cottage sleeps 8. Outside, you will enjoy two southwest-facing terraces, a petanque court and a 600 m2.

Studio in the heart of the Touraine vineyards

In the heart of the Loire Valley Castles and the Loire Valley by Bike, you can: - Visit the ZOO of BEAUVAL, 45 min away (Large South American aviary!) - Take bike rides (if you have your bikes, we will gladly keep them in the garage) or walk along the Loire or in the vineyards - Discover the Châteaux de la Loire (Amboise 10 min, Chenonceau 25 min, Chambord 1 hour, etc...) - Visit Tours 15 minutes away - Or simply do wine tastings a 5-min walk from the house.

The Rock House

Our house is very atypical because it is semi-troglodyte. There is a very common characteristic in troglodyte houses, it is humidity... it is due to the absorption of small amounts of water continuously. So you have to dehumidify the air and heat it all year round. There is a courtyard in front and a large private park on the heights to relax with a picnic table and deck chairs. The car can be parked nearby.

Gîte le grillon/quiet and rest

The Gîte is inside the property but totally independent. You have access to the garden. It has a south-facing terrace that is not overlooked and another to the west, equipped with garden furniture. From 06/01 to 09/15, depending on weather conditions, you can enjoy the heated pool. We provide linens: sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels. You're in a cul-de-sac with no traffic. Great for resting!

Troglodyte "Stone of Light" in the heart of the castles

"Pierre de Lumière" is an atypical dwelling dug into the rock, it is a troglo! This rock sensitive to the elements of nature makes it a living place closely linked to our environment. This habitat is perfect for great lovers of nature and scenery who want to be in symbiosis with this mineral heritage. Travelers who share these values will feel in harmony in this place.
