Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Montsoreau

We felt very lucky to be able to stay in Catherine's beautiful gite. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived. The gite is calm, clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and the silence. The pool was a welcome retreat during the hottest part of the day. The many trees create areas of shade whilst the flowers add colour in the many different pockets of interest. We would thoroughly recommend Catherine's gite and would love to return ourselves one day.

Very nice cottage for a family weekend (12 adults/2 teenagers/1 bb) - well equipped, comfortable bedding - quiet location on the heights of Turquant (Troglodyte Village) and ideal for visiting the banks of the Loire - Welcoming and available owner - Recommended.

Exactly what we were looking for, a nice place in the country that was close to towns and chateaux we could explore. We are a group who likes cooking and were easily able to do so in the nice kitchen oozing with French charm. Plus the beds were very comfortable, always a plus when traveling. The setting was abundant with beautiful flowers in bloom, chickens clucking peacefully, and a horse in the field. It was really wonderful. We appreciated that Odette came out to meet us and to make sure we knew where everything was.

The house is very nice, well located, and quiet! The terrace is beautiful. Having two bathrooms is also great Alexandra and Ronan are welcoming and very responsive, little Lily is adorable. Special mention for Topaze who treated us to cuddles😁 Thanks again for the great stay

Very well located accommodation for visiting the Bioparc de Doué la Fontaine, the troglo sites, the vineyards, castles... Perfect for a family weekend. The setting is very nice, the accommodation pleasant, clean and very well equipped. We had the pleasure of meeting Catherine and her husband who were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. We recommend it!

We enjoyed a relaxing week here. A quiet rural location surrounded by vineyards but only just beyond the edge of town so a quick drive (or a long walk) gets you into the centre. The flat on the ground floor was spacious, comfortable and well equipped and we were made to feel very welcome. Lots of places to visit as well as the famous chateaux. I particularly recommend the visit to Ackerman winery, not just for the famous sparkling wine but for a stunning art installation in the cave created with fluorescent thread and ultra violet light. Fantastic place to stay in the centre of Chinon. It was great to meet Tom and his wife and he was very knowledgeable and helpful about the local area.

Sarah was so friendly and welcoming, and gave us lots of useful information about Saumur and the area. The apartment is very comfortable and in a beautiful location looking out over the river Loire. We had a wonderful few days there and would love to go back again in the future.

The stuff fairytales are made of. Staying directly under a castle. The apartment is so well appointed. Bathed in sunlight in the mornings. Spacious & tastefully decorated. Easy 5 min walk to the centre of town. Beautiful walks across the road by the Loire. The castle is an easy 10 min walk to the castle. The apartment feels very safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

Saumur is a super town to visit, and this apartment is a great base, very central to the restaurants and shops, and a short walk up to the castle and other sights, It’s a nice flat as well and a on a quiet road. Anaïs, Joëlle and Pierre were very helpful.

Hello Marine We had a very comfortable stay in your beautiful apartment. The garden is pretty and kept us cool during the hot summer days. I spent one month in the apartment, working remotely as a change from Ireland which was still very much in COVID lockdown. I could not have been luckier with the apartment, the beautiful building and garden, the town of Saumur and with Christiane as my landlady. I had a very, very special time there- the apartment and building is timeless, beautiful, safe and tranquil. It’s location is perfect in the old town of Saumur. Christiane was the most wonderful, welcoming person who is spent some quality time with and it was an honour to get to know her. It was a fantastic place to call home when I was there. And I have taken back some really wonderful memories. I miss it already. Thank you Christiane!

Very beautiful accommodation, as described and very well equipped. Isabelle was very available to welcome us with great kindness in her living space. The bakery at the foot of the building is a real plus, as well as free parking nearby. A 160cm bed will bring a little more comfort. Thanks again, we'll be happy to come back.

Dominique was very welcoming and helped carry our bags up to the apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and beds comfortable. The location was convenient for access to the old town and free parking nearby. We think our baby woke up the next door neighbour in the middle of the night, which we are sorry about 🫣 but we would stay again if Dominique would have us!

We had a lovely stay at Ellis's. The place is ideal for a quiet rest. Ellis is available if you need anything. We were with a 17-month-old baby who was able to play outside safely and discover lots of new things. We also enjoyed the BBQ outside, which was very nice. What a positive thing about this place.
