The apartment was really nicely presented and had everything you could need for a family stay. Lisa was great at communicating and the apartment guide was super helpful both for the property and the area. Being literally across the road from the beach was fantastic, sometimes we didn't even put our sandy shoes back on to get home! We chose this place because it suited our family of 3 (no stairs for our 1 year old) and after we'd moved all the ornaments out of reach it was perfect, although you could have happily had a much larger family there. Would stay here again!

Lovely quiet place to stay,with great beach access. Also dog friendly all year round. Apartment clean and tidy,with all you need. Iwona a great host, thoughtful & helpful. Information pack useful.

This place is wonderful. We had a lovely few days there chilling out by the sea. It is a fantastic property exactly as described. We loved it.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay in the Upper Deck apartment. The view was wonderful and the apartment had everything we needed. Julian kept us constantly informed and left a gift for our honeymoon. Kind regards Cath & Albie

We had a fantastic week at Sunny Bank. House was spotless and had everything we needed. Very close to lots of lovely restaurants and cafés, my boys especially loved the ice-cream parlor just down the road. Fantastic walk above the the house with amazing views over Barmouth.

We had a lovely stay at Sian’s place <3 absolutely beautiful garden and surrounding outdoor areas! Sian was super responsive and helpful when we needed and there were some really sweet personal touches throughout the accommodation. Really lovely secondary field with a swing and a pond in! We would love to come back sometime <3

What a gem of a place!! It was one of the most tranquil and relaxing stays we've had through Airbnb. Both the location along the magnificent coastline as well as the carriage "Wendy" were absolutely superb and exactly what we were looking for. I booked in a hurry and initially I hadn’t realised it was a housing estate, but location was good and it suited my requirements perfectly the neighbours were charming , the back yard looks right over the harbour with fabulous bird life and jumping fish easy stroll into town and a small bar close by called The view great to sit out and take it all in. Thank you.

Our fourth stay here, the accomodation is perfect for our needs, we love the living space being upstairs, watching the ebb and flow of the estuary. Very comfy bed, spacious shower. Easy parking. Varied walks around Porthmadog, our favourite to Borth-y- Gest.

What a picture perfect place to spend a few days in this area. The house was super clean and the view across the estuary was a definite wow moment! The house has the best equipped kitchen and even some extra fridge space in the basement. The only downside for us was that there is only one shower, and when you have six adults going to a ‘do’ it was a bit of a military operation, but that aside, we had the most wonderful stay. Just got back from a 3 day stay at this lovely cottage. The location is exactly what was needed. Tranquil, Peaceful and Quiet. We travelled as a couple with a 3 year old and a dog. The garden was big and allowed the dog to roam about without too much worry (other than the stream at the end of the garden). The cows in the next field made for the countryside experience! There are many things to go see and visit in the local area and further like the Lake Vernwyn or Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall with hikes and walks. The cottage itself is beautiful and you can see the effort and heart that went into the renovation. It has a homely and cosy feel with everything you need for a stay. We would 100% stay again and would recoup anyone looking for an authentic Welsh countryside break to look no further than Chapel Cottage.

It was a lovely place to stay. My dawg enjoyed people watching especially the ones walking their dawgs. Everything you needed plus a downstairs loo which I didn't know about.

I would highly recommend a stay at Seabank. There was clear and helpful communication from host Janine and the house was beautifully decorated, homely and welcoming. Spotlessly clean with everything you could need. The provisions left for us on arrival were most welcome. A great location with views across the estuary, peaceful and quiet, with a pleasant beach just a short walk away. The local castle is well worth a visit for amazing wider views of the estuary and access to a coastal path is nearby. The term “hidden gem” can be overused but it certainly applies to the pretty village of Llansteffan. We would definitely return to Seabank another time.

An absolute favourite place to be. Mountains, estuary, seaside, walks, bike rides. Looking out over the estuary we feel like the only people there, away from the roads. Peaceful, in fact idyllic is not an exaggeration. A great place to make family memories. We had perfect blue skies and so clear at night we could see every star in the sky 😊

You would struggle to find a place more handy to enjoy everything at Barmouth. What was surprising is that even though it’s close to the town centre, it’s very quiet in the apartment and we had very peaceful nights sleep. Could not ask for any more 🥰

Chris was an incredibly kind and welcoming host! The home had beautiful views of the mountains with space to walk by the river and picnic right on the doorstep. We managed to see a lot of snowdonia while staying, as well as many birds and cats in the garden. The space was very clean and we really appreciated the eco friendly and sustainable ways Chris and Julie have set it up. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone else wanting to be immersed in peace and nature!

Had an absolutely incredible stay at Heidi's property and would be sat here writing this review forever if I was to list all of the amazing things that made this property one of the best I have ever stayed in. Immediately upon arriving we were greeted with a folder that had recommendations and information about the local area, such a small gesture goes a long way in making guests feel at home straight away. The view from nearly every window in the property is the best view I have seen in a long time and myself and the other guests had to stop ourselves from sitting Infront of the window all day otherwise we would never have gone out. The property was spotless, spacious and had everything you could ever need. It made such a good base to explore the local area as it was only a 5/10 minute walk from the harbour/main beach. Thanks for an incredible stay Heidi, we've all made memories to last a lifetime.

We had such a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. The host was welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the location — right beside the river. Waking up to the peaceful view of the water each morning was absolutely magical. It felt like a perfect retreat, yet still close to great cafes, restaurants, and public transport. I couldn’t have asked for a better balance of nature and convenience. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Clare’s apartment. It had all we needed and was really clean and welcoming. The location is great and we were to and from the beach lots! Lots of lovely touches in the flat and we so appreciated the prosecco and other bits that were left for us. Communication with Clare was clear and friendly. We will definitely hope to come again.

I can't say enough about this stay. Yes, it was exactly as described, beautiful and overlooking the water. Yes, the location was perfect and walkable to everything. But what really stood out was the unbelievable responsiveness and kindness of the host, Nia. When due to my own failings I couldn't figure out the lock box, one message and they were down to help me in and even carry my luggage up within 10 minutes. When I had a confusion about dates, again through my own scattered brain, they were incredibly kind and helpful. In the system where so many airbnb's are more of a corporate and business nature, it was wonderful to have the personal touch. If I ever need an Airbnb in Aber again, this is the only one for me. I wish I could give it more than five stars.

Beautiful apartment overlooking South Beach. This end of town is lovely and peaceful; it’s a minute walk to the castle etc and easy to find with clear instructions from Paul & Clara. Very helpful to have parking included as it can get very busy in the summer! We stayed for a long weekend and were very impressed with the size of the apartment, very good value for money. All amenities listed were available and the apartment was clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again in the future :)
