Leszek was very supportive, the information about the house precise. The place is beautiful, cozy and cabin-like. The hot tub is very pleasant (the water smells like sulfur due to the geothermal area). we would definitely recommend this place Nd come back again!

I had a fantastic New Year in a beautiful Nordic family home. Jön's accommodation was beautiful and a wonderful resting place. It was fantastic to stay here in Iceland.

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely house. Our highlight was for sure the lovely living area with its huge windows to watch the ocean and the arriving planes as well as fabulous whirlpool :)

Great home! Very stylish and comfortable. We felt very at home here. The hot tub was a great place to relax at the end of the day.

This house was perfect. The hostesses met us when we arrived, gave us instructions on things they wanted us to make sure we knew (for safety and such due to the temperatures), and spent around 2 hours giving us a tour and history of the house. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and they were so thoughtful with all of their recommendations for activities with our children. We 100% recommend this house to others and we will be coming back in the future!

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. Thank you for everything!

This home offered a cozy place to stay for our family of 9 as we visited the Golden Circle. The rural location was so peaceful. The kitchen was nice for meal preparation and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this home for your stay!

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

Good place to stay near downtown.

Mosfellsbaer is a great location for visiting parts of the Golden Circle, Snaefellsnes Peninsula, and places around Reykjavik. We loved the soft colors of the home - very soothing - with comfortable beds, great showers, well-appointed kitchen, and everything clean and comfortable and quiet. We used the grill, the hot tub, the kitchen and dining room extensively. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer as we had been travelling for several days before we stayed here. Loads of space and distance for friends travelling together, a major plus. We couldn't have asked for better hosts: they provided a great restaurant recommendation and gave us recommendations for nearby grocery stores; they were very responsive when we had questions but otherwise we didn't hear from them, which was perfect. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Loved our stay here overall. Very clean, user friendly, and in a peaceful setting just 10-12 minutes from anything you would need in Selfoss. Our daughter loved the bunk beds and everyone slept comfortably. On arrival it took us a couple of minutes to find the right home/building but once that was sorted everything was terrific.

This house is the cleanest and most comfortable we've stayed in Iceland, maybe even during all our trips through Airbnb. Go there without so much as a second thought!!

I cannot say enough good things about this house. Not only was the home beautiful clean and very warm, but Vera was such a wonderful and communicative host. We traveled with our two-year-old son and she had a crib highchair and literally everything you could think of set up for a toddler so if you have kids, this is absolutely the place to go. There's even a little treehouse with a slide in the back and at night we could sit in the wonderful hot tub and see the northern lights. I would happily stay here again!!

A great cabin for a large group - we had 6 adults with room to spare. No issues with hot water, but we ran into a late night flooding issue in cabin 1, which Arni responded to the next morning. Can prep a basic meal in the clean kitchen, lots of dishware available. Cabins are warm and are well insulated, with amazing views of that gorgeous lake. Pillows and blankets were so comfortable. This is a solid location for fishing if you’re into that, with an outdoor sink by the lake as well. We loved driving home and saying hi to the sheep, lamb, and horses. There’s laundry, which is great, but the dryer is less effective than we expected (if you’re used to American dryers) so just watch out for that. Internet is perfect from the common cabin but inaccessible from the others. Need to pack shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer. We loved our stay here but note: beware Google maps if it takes you on Grafningsvegur Efri and then Klifsskogur - a narrow road that closes (at night/always?).

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin for three nights and felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The cabin was very well-equipped, which made our stay comfortable and easy – we truly appreciated the attention to detail. A special thank you to the owner for accommodating our last-minute booking due to an error on our part. Your flexibility and kindness made a big difference and did not go unnoticed. If we ever return to Iceland, we would be more than happy to come back to this special little place.

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

Gudrun’s home is really lovely. We travelled with little kids and is perfect for families seeking a comfortable and memorable stay. With a well equipped kitchen, it’s easy to prepare home-cooked meals, while the open living spaces offer plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. Thoughtful touches, cozy decor, and essentials including crib, washer/dryer, private parking make it an ideal place. The home is a quick drive to the town of Selfoss , and practical location to explore the south coast. The only downside is that there is a cemetery across from the house, but overall a great home. Gudrun is a great host - friendly, responsive, and checked in if we needed anything during our stay. This was the perfect stay for our family and would definitely recommend.
