Our country house is in the Loire Valley, famous for it's Chateaux such as Amboise, Chaumont, Blois, Chenonceau or Chambord, all of which are a stone's throw. Originally from England I have lived in the area for 30 years and can help you enjoy your vacation without the language barrier. Cycle paths run along the Loire river - bikes can be rented in nearby Chaumont, or you can take a lazy boat trip down the river or hire canoes. Wine tasting of local Touraine wine is close by, as is Beauval Zoo.

Charming cottage in a unique, quiet location

The Cure gîte is a charming little gîte that can accommodate 2 people. It is located in the heart of the Loire Valley castles (Château de Chenonceau, Cheverny, Chaumont sur Loire, Amboise, Blois, Montpoupon...) and 23 km from Beauval Zoo. It is located in the village of Pontlevoy with a bakery open from 6:30 a.m. except on Wednesdays and a Carrefour Contact (8 a.m./8 p.m. except on Sundays 9 a.m./1 p.m.) nearby. It is a well-equipped cottage on the hosts' plot with a small private garden.

Between the vineyards, hiking trails, the Loire by bike and 5 km from Amboise, Anne-Sophie and Nicolas welcome you to the heart of the rock in a renovated century-old troglodyte cottage. "Le Pressoir" offers you two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living room opening onto the terrace in a natural setting on the hillside. The constant temperature of the rock will offer you coolness in summer (don't forget your vest) and mildness in winter. We look forward to welcoming you.

"Au Fraggle Rock" is a 70 m2 troglodyte loft (2/4 people), completely renovated in 2017, located in the historic center, at the spur of the Château d'Amboise (entrance 400 m away) and 500 m from the Clos Lucé, with its small south/west facing garden. This loft is an open space with 2 small beds (80 x 190) in the living room and partially separated from the sleeping area where there is a large bed (160 x 200). Charming townhouse completely renovated, located on a quiet street 300 meters from the river (Cher) and 600 meters from the castle. Convenience stores are within a short walking distance. Every Thursday there is a large market with local products. Located in the heart of a tourist region between zoo (15 min from Beauval Zoo) and castles (Cheverny, Chenonceau, Chambord...). The Flanders gîte is ideal for spending good times with family.
