Welcome! We are delighted to share with you our favorite room in an 1895 Georgian Colonial home. This comfortable sunporch suite is ideal for two guests or a family with a young child. Located in a safe, quiet, and wonderful section of Pittsburgh, we are close to the zoo and Children's Hospital, and a short drive from downtown. This suite has its own separate entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette. The wall-to-wall windows look over the front yard, courtyard, and our neighbor's Victorian home.

This unique place has a style all its own in an off beat and art filled neighborhood minutes from downtown and the South Side. One bedroom, cozy, ground floor apartment with restaurants, coffee and retail shops within walking distance and a short commute downtown. Please note that the light rail runs through our neighborhood until 10/25, and picks up across the street from our space, but it is also a little noisy. If you are a light sleeper you might want to consider other accommodations.

Whole house with private yard on quiet street

This house is perfect for guests who want to be near the action but need a quiet place to escape. Only a 15min drive to downtown, this house is situated near the bottom of a dead end street with little traffic. Early check-in and late check-out is the default available timeframe for all stays. Across the street is our community park and out back is a fully fenced in yard to relax and let the fur babies run around. Kitchen is stocked with the basics and all utilities have been updated.

Quick Uber/lyft to everything Pittsburgh especially Carson Street fun. Great views of the Cathedral of learning and everything Oakland. You will also enjoy views of the Birmingham Bridge and the south side flats. Southside Park is right behind the property. If you enjoy nature walks Southside Park is the largest untouched nature reserve in the city. The almost famous Pittsburgh city stairs system is also accessible from our street. Come explore the Southside slopes!

My place is close to art and culture, restaurants and dining, and family-friendly activities. The southside is loaded with bars and restaurants, grocery and clothing stores, galleries, public library and pool. It is very near downtown Pgh and has great bike/running trails along the river. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the neighborhood, the light, the comfy bed, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, business travelers, and furry friends (pets).

Lovely place! Wayne, Linda and Maggie are great hosts. They do go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. I wish we had a little bit more time to enjoy the hot tub, grill or fire pit. The garden is charming and very peaceful.

This is one of 4 rooms in a small town house, and is highly recommended if you are spending a few months visiting CMU, UPitt, or UPMC. I had a fantastic time staying here during a research visit to CMU. It is walking distance to CMU and the house had everything that I could need. Amy and Michael are amazing hosts and really go above and beyond to make sure their guests are not only comfortable but getting the most out of their experience.

The room was clean and comfortable with thoughtful amenities. Kyrie sent clear information about check-in, driving recommendations, and local places to eat and things to do. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely stay again. The roads leading to and from the house are very steep, just FYI to future renters!

The place is great. This apartment has like 5 bedrooms total for rent. And there’s 2 bathrooms to share. We never had to wait for the bathroom. All the guests were quiet and polite. The bathroom and the kitchen were clean all the time. There was plenty of toilet paper, soap , paper towels. The room was nice and the blanket was warm. There was free parking. I would recommend this place.
