At first glance, the Kobe-based Nishimura Group, an abandoned house renovation group, felt the potential of the place that had finished its role and set its sights on it. In August 2023, they opened an "art hotel where you can stay" based on the concept of "urban secret base". The total area is 93 m². The entire 3-story building has been renovated. * The hotel part is on the 2nd and 3rd floor & rooftop The second floor is a living space and the third floor is a separate bedroom, so it can be used by couples, families, and groups. The interior takes advantage of the texture of the concrete and is an open space with the ceiling removed. The stylish design, unimaginable from the old appearance, will stimulate your senses. ROKKONOMAD is located in the forest of Rokko Mountain. It is located at an altitude of about 780 m, and there is a temperature difference of about 4-5 degrees from the city, so it is cooler in summer than the city, and in winter you can experience a climate that you cannot experience in the city. Would you like to enjoy an extraordinary stay surrounded by nature with your family or group? You can get to the city in 15 minutes by car from Rokko Mountain. If possible, I hope you can stay for a long time, enjoy living in the mountains, and go out to the city and rural areas. We recommend long-term stays at this facility, and long-term stays are more affordable. Parents can also work while their children are playing at the athletic facility (Glynia) on Mt. Rokko. The main building next door also operates as a shared office, and you can use the office and conference room separately (for a fee). Meals are made in the kitchen in the cottage.
