Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless area, a remote, lovely, nearly-wild kingdom, easy driving distance from Chicago and Madison. 45 minutes to Taliesin, 10 minutes to the Wisconsin River, epic bike rides out the front door.

Knotty Pine Rental - Rolling Ground

Knotty Pine Rental is in the heart of all that the Driftless Area has to offer with small town hospitality. Enjoy the days hiking, fishing, visiting local flea/farmers markets, apple orchards, strawberry picking, utv trails, and so much more. We offer free wifi, cable television in the great room, as well as the bed room, small variety of family games, and a deck to enjoy the sunsets. We have a large yard area, lots of parking, and the option to enjoy some taste food at the bar and grill below.

Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Nestled in a secluded valley on 13 acres, this property offers utmost privacy along with conveniences like fiber optic Wifi. Griff Run is 18 mins to Richland Center or 25 mins to Viroqua. Additional accommodations on the farm include the Farmhouse Suite at Griff Run and Eunice the Airstream.

Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

After crossing a narrow path along the lake you will find the entrance to the Spring Water Retreat at Mill Creek Cabins. The remains of an old farmhouse now welcome our guests to a warm, secure, escape from the everyday. This secluded space is the perfect place to relax in the woods.​ With no TV and large windows looking out over the lake, the focus is on the outdoors. Despite the remote location, a high-speed internet connection is available to keep you connected throughout your stay. ​

Bring your UTV and ride the trails for $30 per driver and $10 per passenger or rent a UTV for $300. Close to trout fishing stream or Mississippi for fishing. Approx 15 miles from Prairie Du Chein, close to canoeing for the Kickapoo, Wisconsin river. Has a gas & charcoal grill, pool table, firepit, Smart TV. Feel free to explore the woods taking a hike on the network of trails. Nearby you can visit winery's, Wildcat Mountain State Park, the Kickapoo Valley Reserve and more. Squirrel Ridge Log Cabin

A cozy cabin nestled in the country side of southwest Wisconsin. This cabin is located on the corner of our 28 acre organic maple syrup farm. The Amish built log cabin is in a wooded area with its own driveway offering privacy for a perfect getaway! Comfortably sleeps 4 adults, which includes a queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 single beds in a loft area, & a queen size pullout sleeper in the main room. Centrally located in the Ocooch Area of WI for excellent trout fishing.
