Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. Really lovely hosts always ensuring everything was just perfect. Very thoughtful leaving little local gifts of yoghurt and fruit for us. It is a very quiet place, great views and walks close by. I would say hire car important to explore the local Urdaubai area.

From the second I booked the beautiful villa in Sunbilla with Carmen and José, they took great care of advising with best activities, supporting with arrival and providing a wonderful clean home with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the restaurant elotxuri and the lake in natural reserve. We would love to come back when the pool is open next time. Thank you Carmen and José!

Fantastic hospitality the people of Catalan are very friendly and the property was amazing but you definitely need a car to stay here as there nothing around no shops

We went to spend the weekend with the family, 3 couples with 2 children. The house is much better than it looks in photos, it has incredible views, we were delighted so much by space, cleanliness, house amenities. It has a great fireplace, radiant heating, bathtub and hydromassage shower. Tomás and Izaskun are lovely have advised us what route to do and which to visit, they are very attentive and friendly. The house has BBQ outside on a covered snack. There is Ping pong, and terrain for children to play inside the grounds of the house. It was great and we hope to come back. For me personally the best rural stay I've had.

We had a great weekend at Itxaso's place. We were very well received and received helpful recommendations about Bilbao and the surrounding area. The accommodation is very great and with several separate rooms it is perfect for larger groups. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen, but here there are good opportunities to cook some lovely meals. Would, however, highly recommend the restaurant Asador Bidegain which is 2min away from the accommodation. The only challenge we had was getting a taxi booking when we were going to the city center. The Spanish skills of the taxi drivers are very limited so calling to book a taxi was difficult. Uber and Bolt did not work In any case, we got very good help from Itxaso who drove us down to town so we could arrange a rental car. Great service!

Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well equipped, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

Fermin and Amelia are awesome. We are so thankful for their hospitality and their lovely home. Etxalar is amazing. One of the most beautfiful towns we have visited. Fermín y Amelia son increíbles. the house is great for groups (up to 30, I think they come in without problems) has a spacious dining room, lots of crockery, BBQ area and spacious garden! the only one but the bathrooms are outside the bedrooms.

The stay was great. The host Luis Mari super willing and friendly. The place is spectacular surrounded by nature and calm. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful mountain chalet in an idyllic setting. The house is large, very clean, quiet. Ideal location: in the mountains and 1 hour from the beach. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and there are 3 bathrooms, which is pretty good when there are 11 of you!

The place and its hosts, exceptional. The house offers many possibilities to enjoy the outdoors, games and exceptional livability and comfort. It is worth spending enough time to enjoy both the house and the surroundings. The pending hosts at all times, very friendly and knowledgeable of the environment to be able to make visits, excursions... With great desire to repeat. Thank you for everything.

The house is fantastic, it's big and very quiet. The location impressed us. It is at the top of the village, very high up and by car the first time we were scared by the access, we arrived without any problem. Basically, the climbs are considerable, if we had to do them by bicycle, one would surely be enough ;).

Enclave privileged by the view. It's perfect for relaxing if you're going through but you'd also like to stay longer. You sit on a family farm. The host was very attentive to our arrival

Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtful. The house is cozy, well equipped and as shown in the pictures. In addition, Rosa has been majestic, always attentive and willing to help with whatever we needed. We will definitely repeat.

Home is very nice and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equiped. We really enjoyed our stay. I really recommend it. Also, the little village of Alkiza is very beautiful and authentic. There is a local tavern and different hikes that start from there.

From the first moment, Adela's service was very good, very communicative and she answered my questions. The accommodation is great, everything is very clean, tidy, it has everything you need (and more!) to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The fireplace is a plus at this time of year (December). The common area is spacious, two open kitchen and living room rooms, very comfortable when it comes to being in the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, everything was clean and in order. The bathroom is somewhat narrow (it depends on each person's taste), although the shower is wonderful. The window didn't open and it was the only drawback I found. Everything else was magnificent. The village is quiet, in a beautiful valley, with possibilities for sports around and tourism (Bilbao 30min, Vitoria 40min...) I would recommend this accommodation because I was very satisfied and because I would repeat if the opportunity arose. Thanks Adela, especially for accepting Baio and Lea ❤️

Beautiful place to be in nature, the nearby village has sea and several places of interest. The house is very complete, to live it for months, is like being at home.
